Not sure what i should do after
recovering the first memory and getting the tunic..i dont think im ready to tackle a divine beast yet.

I beat the first divine beast with three hearts and a little extra stamina. If you're looking for stuff to do the whole world is littered with shrines and side missions, but the divine beasts don't expect you to be armed to the teeth

I need to collect
electro arrows
but that fucker on the hill is one hitting me. Am I just to underpowered? I tried sneaking but I don't think I'm supposed to skip the fight, right?

And I just saw his health in numbers for a short time. How did I trigger this? This was the first time I remember seeing this.
1) No you aren't supposed to fight him. Just collect the arrows off the trees and ground while staying on the opposite side of the hill from where he patrols.

2) The Tunic you get from Impa lets you see numbers.

You know the feeling you get when you watch your favorite TV show and you they finish the episode with a huge WTF twist and leave you with a cliff hanger? That feeling that you are dying just get another taste?

That's what I'm feeling right now with Breath of the wild, only times 10.

This game is consuming me.

How the hell do I kill this centaur guy with all the shock arrows?

I was just doing him. I had him down to about 1% and I accidentally fell. :D

Just patience, hit him in the eye with an arrow and mount him -- dodge his stuff. Use food and potions.

That said -- My friend told me that she just snuck around and picked up the arrows and didn't fight him at all. That's likely what the game expects.

Okay where the eff is Safula Hill.

I really want this white horse they're talking about but I got the map of Central Hyrule and I can't find any region labeled Safula Hill.

It's driving me nuts. Help.

Holy shit running from Guardians is exhilarating.
The seamless act of calling your horse, the mechanic of it running a little bit in front of you and hopping on into a quick full sprint is AMAZING.

I guess that makes more sense.

Correct - you aren't supposed to but they don't specifically tell you not to so you'd try and get your shit ruined lol

Ok well you have talked me into it. Might try the one north of
kakariko village

I think you're meant to sneak around stuff or avoid things out of survival. It's the charm of this game... You're not told how to do it exactly and it's up to you to figure it out. Such a great breath of fresh air from the typical Zelda A to point B hand holding.

I'm the same as you for the most part on hearts and stamina.

I think down the line when your buffed out Link we can take on these bigger challenges. Have you tried heading to Hyrule Castle? It's pretty insane if you try to do it before you ready.

I haven't even gone near it. I accidently went into a field with three guardians and that was enough for me.

I have been taking most encounters head on, though, so maybe I'll try avoiding stuff more

It's west of Central Hyrule and east of Satori Mountains.

If you zoom in a little on the map you should get area names.

Haha. I didn't even see them until my way back from Hyrule Castle.

I didn't make it to the castle... I got to a nope point not too far outside of the calamity.

If you come across a shrine whose entrance is blocked by thorny bushes, I assume you need to burn them? Too bad I can't try that because it won't stop raining! While I was waiting for the rain to stop I scared a nearby goat and it ran into the thorns and killed itself. At least I got some free meat while I'm waiting. ^^

Which one are you talking about?

Just read about the amiibo. Sucks so much cool gear is locked behind them :( The only spoiler I saw for this game was a gear spoiler, and I was excited to find a lot of that stuff on the adventure. But it seems all the call-back gear is from amiibo. I guess that makes sense in terms of story, but now I'm wanting the amiibo..

So, are these carvings that they added in Twilight Princess:HD now fully explained? Based on how far I've come in the story, I think I at least see the main connections.

You know what, I was so hyped about buying a 1080ti for my PC but I don't know now, Zelda and Switch has shown me how little power actually means. Scorpio and Pro is obviously out of the equation too. The weakest hardware of the bunch has by far the best game. I guess I might change my mind when I've finished Zelda but omg right now I couldn't care less about 4K and 100+ fps, even with the occasional 20fps bursts in BOTW I'm just sitting here grinning while playing this game. I'm just so happy =)

Has anyone else found the shrine (i think) in south west faron area on the beach? Think you need to put the ball in the hole to trigger it but some girl is hugging it and talking to her doesn't prompt a quest or anything?

Not sure the one I found is the exact same one you did, but try looking for higher ground and paraglide over

Mountain climbing really rewards you with some nice gems along the way. I'm hoarding everything.

At this point I don't even need quests, I'm just picking a direction towards a peak and then surveying the land to pick another destination. Rinse and repeat.

I asked yesterday but didn't get an answer but regarding the side quest in g
erudo town.

How do you figure out the password that is mentioned in the bar? The ladies just tell me to get lost.

OK, thanks that worked. I thought you need to burn the bushes because cutting the tree on the island gives you firewood. The shrine is called Sheh Rata.

When syncing the Shiekah Slate with the towers, etc. the animation that plays with the tear dropping into it reminds me of the first Crystal Chronicles so much.

Hint:
One of the child NPCs gives you a hint, try talking to them

Answer:
Go into the home next door and listen in through the grate connecting the two buildings

Just did the Shrine in Hateno Village and
did anyone else turn the board upside down and totally bypass the maze? Accidentally flipped the board after failing about 10 times, and I love that they allow you to cheese the puzzle like! I guess it's a lot more intuitive to do this when holding the Joycons separately. Also, fuck ball-in-maze motion puzzles.

Killed Lynel. Sneaking is for the birds.

If anyone else wants to try this I recommend the speed potion. Not sure how I'd have done it without one.

All this open worlding has made me soft, stuck on the first "dungeon".

Divine best Vah Ruta. I've done the first terminal by using the magnet on the gears, but don't know where to go from here. In the big wheel cog I can use stasis on the ball but it just falls back down.

i beat the shit out of the centaur guy, but to be fair, i had been wandering the map for like 15 hours and had a giant sword made of ice that i stabbed him with a lot

Okay what was the real solution to "speed of light" trial for the second chest?

I cryo'd over to place a bomb by the water crystal
cryod to the laser platform
arrowed the water crystal
hang-glided and walked through door
denoted bomb
