I'm lost in the lost woods.

it's much easier to figure out how the fog works and run back immediately when it starts to surround you. took me like 2 minutes that way.

after the 2 torches you are on your own, no more guidance

Jesus. Tried finding the Toon Link and Ocarina of Time Link amiibo's in stores today. Not a one had them. On eBay they go for triple the price.

Nintendo? Make more?

Honestly i have been using the toon link amiibo since launch and only have the tunic legs...it's luck based so i am not even bothering getting more amiibos.

Currently have:
Ganondorf, Toon Zelda, Toon Link, Archer Link, Wolf Link and Bokoblin.

Still never got one of their rare items beside those tunic legs toon link.

The Lost Woods puzzle is one of the most satisfying Zelda puzzles I ever finished, it's in your best interest to not spoil it

It's so simple, but when you get it, that feeling is something else.

Is there something special about Hetsu's 2nd location? After I found him outside Kakariko village, I found him next in the Korok Forest, where he said he's supposed to be.

Is anyone else having a hard time picking the stamina upgrade over the heart? Since the original, I've been conditioned to pick the heart when available. I have 7 or 8 hearts now but haven't upgraded my stamina yet and don't plan to any time soon. It would be nice to have more of it but I've still been able to climb every tower, etc that I've come across with what I've got.

On a side note, I'm having a really hard time upgrading my Stasis. I can't find the necessary parts for some reason although I have like 20 of each of the other ancient gear/shaft etc pieces. Any clues where I can find the necessary components or is it more a matter of luck when searching the guardians?

I'm only getting enough hearts so I can grab the thing. Otherwise Im all about stamina. It comes in handy in combat for me quite a bit.

You must be really good at dodging because I had to leave those shrines lol.

Its attacks are all telegraphed pretty well, but you just basically get your hits in after he crashes into the pillars during his charge attack, then when he does the wind circle in phase two just toss bombs at him, you can simply run circles around him during the phase 3 laser, it's not fast enough to hit you if you stay moving

Agreed. They nailed the Lost Woods in this game. It's by far the best representation of the area in the entire series.

I agree that it was a great section and the best lost woods so far, but I didn't get the puzzle either, I just ran back from the fog and figured it out that way

On one hand it's kind of annoying you can cheese the puzzle, but on the other hand, it fits in with the overall theme of being able to solve puzzles in multiple ways, so I can't be too upset about it.

Solving it the "right" way is way more satisfying though.

Reached the Central Hyrule tower with like five hearts and no stamina upgrades, pretty thrilling adventure. Also ran into my first Lynel, which promptly killed me.

You know I don't see it mentioned much, but the enemy AI in this game is actually pretty good.

Enemies seem to always have something they could counter me with...when I throw a bomb, they'll just
swipe it away
.

Also, sometimes when i'm running away from them they'll hit me with something from a half mile away. I'm like "WTF this guy is still following me?!?" lol

I love this game.

Thanks, guess I'll go try again.

Yeah, I was fighting... something... and I would toss a bomb at it, and it would pause, back up, and frag the bomb before continuing to chase me. It was pretty smart.

Me it was the elemental arrows that made me "holy jesus!" and I rand lol
Damn thunder arrows in Zora domain, lol

Guys, I am 23 hours into the game. I am so overwhelmed. lol I have only discovered 3 towers, and completed 9 shrines. I have spent so much time in
Hateno village
and the surrounding areas. I just want to spend the rest of the game there lol The rest of the eastern and southeastern parts of the game are also incredible.

I am not sure how long it is going to take me to finish this game. Probably months to be honest.

BTW I wish there was a way to save recipes. I hope they can make a patch for that. It is nice to have.

I've been taking pictures using the camera rune of my favorite recipes. I would like a fillable recipe list sidequest, however, for the completionist in me. No quick menu though.

Can you spoil the right way for me? I tried a few things but ended up brute forcing it.

I don't get it. There are no more torches halfway. And even when I bring my own torch I can't see shit.

The wind shows the way. That's how you get to the 2 torches, by following the embers trailing away from the flames. With the portable torch you pull your camera to get a top down view and follow the flame flickering by the wind.

That puzzle was so cool, kinda lame it's apparently cheeseable by avoiding the fog.

Anyone else feel like Link controls vaguely like Mario? Mainly just the running and sprinting part.

The movement and controls are just top-notch.

Is there a list of items that don't have much purpose other than to be sold? Opal/Topaz?

I have to admit I've been too scared to actually sell anything yet, for fear that it will have some use that I'm unaware of.
