Although these new Zora designs........................

I just got to the Zora dungeon.

Um, the dungeons are really different from other Zelda games. But it's a breath of fresh air!

Also these are the best Zora designs ever.

How do I get to the
karusa valley from gerudo town? The sand storm disables my slate and I keep getting lost in the sand and my sand seal just disappears :/

One thing I definitely don't like are the bosses. Both dungeons I've did had
the same boss at the end with only a few change-ups
. So far I miss the likes of say Gohma or other traditional Zelda bosses. Enemy/boss wise the game is very lacking so far in general. Now with the last two dungeons I'm doing I feel like I know what to expect in regards to the bosses of them and that takes away some of the excitement.

I spent about an hour and a half trekking to and then figuring out how to traverse a tower in the far northeast. I ran into so much shit I didn't even know was in the game. The hardest part was at the tower. Three black bokoblins that could one shot me guarded it, and the whole area is covered in this poisonous purple stuff.

I went from so many angles, dying so many times, until I found an absolute sliver of a broken arch that the purple stuff wasn't covering to inch up. From there I glided above the stuff covering the tower and synced up. I still can't tell if they designed it to be that thin of a margin you squeak by, or if I cheated it and really you're supposed to have a lot more armor/hearts. Either way it was really fun to figure out.

I'm sure someone is gonna say there was an easier way but idc. It was an adventure.

Youd be surprised but many of us did it that way. Aparently there was a way to unlock a
metal platform to use with the magnesis rune

When leaving the town you should see something that points you in the right direction.

explicit
follow statues you see, will lead to a shrine and make it storm disappear.

that's how i did it at least

You don't need a quest to get the master sword, you just gotta find it.

Actually there's an npc in the mountain stable near faron area(the one with the horse obstacle course and stuff) that asks you for the hero's legendary weapon

Asking again: are magnesis/cryosis upgradable

Lord knows how many hours I have put in this game and have only did 1 dungeon 30ish shrines and I continue to uncover things and be amazed with the randomness that happens around me. This is nit only my favorite Zelda surpassing OOT, this maybe the best open world game I've ever played.

After around 50 hours I decided to sneak into Ganon's castle and I did indeed manage to sneak my way around all the guardians, but it was only to get a taste of what is lying ahead of me - even though it might be possible to beat the game in my current state I really want to save it for the very end after beating all the dungeons (so far I have only found one lol ), so I noped out again immediately after entering, but it was worth it for the music alone. Damn, that stuff was good!

Oh my god. I just had a moment with this game. Wow. Such a small game design thing. Long story short I climbed a mountain and got to the top at midnight and saw something really ducking cool.

This may be one of the best games of all time.

Not sure if we're talking about the same place, but I had a similar moment.

Was especially exciting because (a) the enemies on the mountain could 1 shot kill me (2) my health was going down cause it was so cold and (3) I didn't expect to find anything more than a shrine or cool item.

I swear those 2 handed swords called
the edge of duality
are some of the most useful things to come across they do great damage and have enough durability to deal exactly 2000 damage before breaking.

They each emphasize and incorporate different skills and runes into the mix. Mind you, I beat both the Gerudo and the Zora Domain bosses and they couldn't be more different if they tried.

The best thing about these bosses is that they remind me of punch out by design. Meaning the fight can drag on if you don't figure out which animation leaves them open to early attacks.

YESSSSSS! 1:14.34!!! Fuck that horse obstacle race! How do you like that Blynne?!! Maybe YOU need an attitude adjustment.

This game continues to be light years ahead of anything the rest of the industry produces, mechanics/systems wise. It's nuts. I know devs love to tout their 'living, breathing world' shtick, but I think this game went and did it.

It really did, As much as I love Xenoblade C/CX, I do believe this tops them both. The level of interactivity that you can have with the world is simply astounding.

That's the whole point & beauty of the game. You can go anywhere you want right when you leave the plateau as it is designed for that to be possible. It's harder but you will feel more accomplished as result.

It's really good. The only better great sword I encountered is the Royal Claymore.

Yeah game is consistently flooring me - really special title

Just did the
labyrinth
off the north eastern coast

Lol dropped down into the basement,
grabbed the guardian defense crown, and flew out of there as they all activated

Haven't did Gerudo yet. I liked the Zora one a lot, but then the second one I did had a variation of the same design and I was hoping for something completely different. It makes sense when it comes to the lore but they could have at least put some different mini-bosses in those or something. The bosses may be different mechanically and I really dug the environment and sort of how you fought the second one I did, but I imagine now that all four are going to be
Somethingblight Ganon
and I don't really care for that tbh

When Aonuma says that he feels like they can still top this, this is definitely one area where they can, considering that when it comes to bosses this has been by far the weakest set I've played yet in the series.

You'll have fun with Gerudo then :)

Personally, it was the first time in a very long time (I'm that old and jaded gamer threads speak of) that had me pump my fists in the air. Challenging, rewarding both mentally and emotionally.

Did you go to the ends of the desert yet? Found a boss there that was awesome. Bring a rented sand-seal from Gerudo Town (so it's loyal) and it becomes even cooler.

I feel like the world bosses are more like the traditional zelda-style bosses.

I just got to the desert this evening, so haven't seen much of it yet. Game is so damn big that I haven't quite written things off yet, it could still satisfy in that regard-- I have no idea. Just so far I'm really disappointed with that aspect.

Also hoping that the climax/final boss is great, that could really bring up my opinion if I'm still a bit down about it by then.

I feel like the world bosses are more like the traditional zelda-style bosses.

Which kind of bums me out as there's no buildup, it's just like oh there's a big thing! Only thing I've really run into so far are the Hinoxes.

I'm not entirely sure how to ask this with the least amount of spoilers, but, I need help upgrading the Champion's Tunic. Specifically finding the rare parts for it.

I need to find the dragons. I got Farosh's horn shards already, and I know where the red one can be found, but not any consistent way to make it appear. But I need the blue one now, and I have no idea where to look for it, since it wasn't on Mount Lanyaru where I last saw it.

Any tips for a dragon hunter? I'm thinking I should get two horn shards and a scale from each.

Started the game and felt... Compelled to go it naked. Wonder how long I'll hold that position, though.

I don't think this would be much of a problem -- I say go for it. Follow your naked dreams. You'll need to rely solely on potions/food for surviving harsh environments, but that's quite doable

The strategy guide confirms my suspicion; each quarter heart represent 1 hp and each point of defense substracts directly from the incoming damage. So if a bokoblin swings a 12 attack spiked club at you it deals 3 hearts of damage. If you have 6 defense it will deal a heart and a half. This means that 4 armor is effectively 1 heart container from a single attack's perspective (it's actually worth more much than one container), and the more armor you have the more valuable each additional point of armor is (increasing returns).

Can you give me the lowdown for the mini game on eventide island? I scored 50 and I still didn't get the prize.

Oh my god. I am fighting/
freeing
my first
dragon
. The sheer scale of it and how it utilizes the terrain... This game is fucking incredible. Having so much fun trying to figure this out.

Unfortunately that is the only one like that.

Come to think of it, I'm having difficulty recalling enemy varieties. Bokoblins, Moblin, Lizalfos, each with three colors (and elements at times), Wizrobes, Lynels, 4 types of guardians, Kneese variants, 3 skeletons + Stalnox, three types of Hinox's, among other mini bosses, what else?

Edit: All I can think of in particular is Bokoblins, Lizalfos, and Moblin. So many of those..

There is also those stone monsters/
overworld bosses

Guys, I need help! Today I played this game for around 14 hours straight in just one sitting. This game is clearly messing with me - I think the last time such a thing happened was when RE 4 got released. It's probably the best game I've played in more than 10 years.
