PS4 Update 4.5 is coming tomorrow, details inside

I hope they put the full OS download up on their system software update page. I kinda wanna reinstall the OS fresh for this one.

You normally just highlight one and push the options button to get rid of all of them. Has that changed?

Yes, that option has been removed altogether. You have to go into each notification and wait for it to clear, making sure you don't accidentally press X and open the game/app. Maddening.

Rainbow Six Siege Terrorist Hunts now average over 80fps most of the time, never drops below 60 and no more screen tearing. Beast Mode doing work.

Game has been mostly flawless for me in most areas, but running around in Novigrad has seen noticeable drops. Good to hear they'll be ironed out.

Good to hear!
Novigrad it's flawless on ps4 base too, after the last update. There is a video on DF boost test who proves it. Just the swamp had some (minor) fps issues. Now I'm testing Sleeping Dog and later Just Cause 3. Very curious about both.

Moved all my games to a external hard drive.

Backed up my save data and account info to a thumbdrive.

Installed a SSD in my Pro.

Restored my backup.

Plugged in my external, and everything works great!

Both are apparently much improved. I held back playing through SD again because of boost mode.

If I'm putting stuff on external HDD, and then I transfer my internal HDD stuff to a new PS4 (Pro) later, can I just plug in the drive I'm currently using and go from there, or would it not recognise the data on it?

Ok Sleeping Dog seems pratically flawess in the crowded and bigger streets. A quick test but on base ps4 those areas was a nightmare there for my eyes between tearing and lower fps. What a relief. Now Just Cause 3.

New notification area truly is a mess. Hated it the beta and still hate it now.

Are there any advantages to using an external drive over an internal one? Wondering if I should reinsert my stock 1TB and go external.

ShareFactory updated 2.50, you can now import videos and images via USB. Just one of the features, probably the biggest.

I'd like to know this too. I have two ps4's. Can I install games to the external hdd and then just plug in and play to between the two?

I'm *pretty* sure someone tried that with the beta and it didn't work. I guess it ties it to one machine rather than one account.

Any word on if this update fixes the issue Stardew valley has on a pro? Apparently those are system based and not the game.

Preetty sure my HDD fills the requirements to be used as external store but my ps4 keeps telling me the filesystem is not supported.

Can I somehow format it on my PC to make it work?
