Do you have a PS4 Pro? It might seem silly to ask but a few posters already showed they had no idea what boost mode actually is. It's under System category, in Settings area if you're on a Pro.
SSD upgrade is very noticeable!
Even though it's a 250GB. I can just move games I'm playing off my external.
HZD loads noticeably faster. AC:Unity is stupidly fast at loading. The PS4 dashboard is very snappy no hang ups.
Worthy upgrade. Especially because you don't need to buy a 2TB SSD to store all your games.

What's beyond mind-boggling is the fact that they don't use the "hover the notification icon" area for displaying active downloads (similar to the friends online showing up while hovering the friends icon).
Would be such a neat QoL update.

Still having the bluetooth issue with the PDP Universal PS4 Media Remote that I had in both 4.5 Betas. Basically the bluetooth paired remote wouldn't work even though it was showing that it was paired to the system. When I tried to remove it from the bluetooth devices section it would just error out. I contacted both PDP (said it was a Sony issue) and Playstation (said it was a PDP issue) and rebuilt the database like both suggested and still nothing. Any suggestions? It's annoying to have this device on my PS4 that won't work and I can't remove.
This is all I need at the moment.

The transfer speed to take a game or two from the internal drive to the extended storage how long does that process take? If I had 60gb to move to extended storage.

They basically condensed the entire thing into one long list, sorted by most recent. You know in the notifications section there was one area that stored all of your notifications, none of which could be deleted? It's basically just that now, with a history of all your notifications going back to the first one you ever got (or in my case, when I upgraded the HDD two years ago). And of course, there's no way to delete notifications!

Thank you but after digging a little bit online I changed cables and turned the ps4 on with the HDD already connected and it did the trick.
Sending everything I've finished already to external. Leaving the stuff I'm still going to play on the ps4.

I think it marks them all as read once you go to the notification area. It's just really cluttered. As I said on the last page, I have a notification messages going back to two years ago about someone posting in a group I am no longer part of. Why do I need this? No idea.

I'd recommend playing your currently playing titles on whatever drive is faster, regardless of internal or external. Unless you are on a base PS4 you will likely see better performance on an external drive.
Well, yeah, I was aware of the power increases. But is the PS4 Pro now the to-go PS4 to buy, or is there still a reason to buy the PS4 Slim? I think there was talk about the PS4 Pro maybe not living up to the promised performance increase and it might not be worth the extra money.
