I haven't found any armor sets in shrines yet. Are they out there? I have heard of a
CLIMBING SET
and was seeing if I could be pointed in the right direction.

I have a hard time believing they'd charge $20 just for a difficulty mode. I hope there's meaningful new content.

I think that one was in a shrine along the path to kakariko?? Another I found early was
barbarian armor in a maze in the desert.

Guys. Mount Lanaryu. Wow wowow.

yeah I did that last night. was awesome.
it's funny how they managed to sneak a standard Zelda boss out in the world. also the music and vibe while going up the mountain was great.

having played the game now I can't wait to throw $20 at my Switch for more Zelda. will definitely be buying this when the second pack drops. hopefully the new hard mode is something cool and substantial, might buy it then if so.

I can't remember what tower I was at last night. Somewhere on the northeastern side. It was night and I used the slate to start scanning. I noticed something emanating a glow far away in a hill/mountain side. It wasn't a marker I set. It was a faint blue green color. Way too far for me to traverse in the time I wanted to spend before going to bed. Anyone know what that might have been? I don't know if I'd see it again anytime soon, if ever.

Thanks! I will trace my steps back there. I have been pushing my way up into the Death Mountain area and also exploring the
Tingle Islands
.

I found a
Climb Speed Up bandana
in a shrine almost directly next to the
road heading through the twin peaks
IIRC. Look around that road.

Loks like i'll never be 100% this game, one of the korok balloon shooting sections isn't loading, exact area is

duelling peaks region around Batrea lake there is a stump with a pinwheel on. I stand on it, I stand by it etc and no balloons :/
It's not balloons
Use your eyes and look around carefully!

Lmao, Divine Beast Vah Ruta, wut. Guess it's time to look at a walkthrough :(

Small hint:

There is a mechanic that they don't explain well but is needed to solve the puzzles, look at your map.

I got stuck for like, 30 minutes running around trying to figure out wth I needed to do :lol

Step away if you have to. Don't use a walk through! You'll see stuff you didn't see before. I'm pretty sure I didn't get the hardest chest in there the way you're supposed to, but the only idea I had worked.
Which chest? Can you tag it where it is not how to get it? I just wanna see if I missed it.

It's not really noticeable unless you see its effect.

The Vah Rudania is way more obvious.

Man, getting to the top of the
Akkala
tower sure was an experience. Wasn't exactly sure how I was supposed to get on it... I ended up
climbing on the ruined archway while carefully avoiding the malice and paragliding onto the tower.

Hahaha same!!!
I completely thought it wouldn't work to be fair. There was a tiny piece of it which wasn't corrupted (or what you call that)

I really need to know what hard mode is.

I bought a copy yesterday but don't want to start a playthrough if hard mode is just added difficulty.

If that's the case I'll wait for it to release to start playing. On hard I can use all the Amiibos and hopefully feel I'm not making everything too easym

Urbosa and a tablet in Zora's Domain state that the Divine Beasts are named after Sages. In particular, Vah Naboris and Nabooru, Vah Rudania and Darunia, Vah Ruta and Ruto, and Vah Medoh and Medli. All Sages who were representative of the species their namesake Divine Beast would eventually protect (and later, endanger).

There's a lot more explicit evidence towards the Wind Waker than there is towards Twilight Princess. Zelda saying
"steeped in twilight"
doesn't exactly guarantee a direct connection; it could easily be a red herring. As I said before, there is concrete evidence towards the Adult timeline, while there is one line that could infer a connection to the Child timeline.

As for "small changes", which ones? The Wiki doesn't list any like what you're describing.

Or it could all be just fanservice references and the existence of koroks and rito is mostly because the developers wanted to use them. I doubt Nintendo cares about the timeline as much as the fans do.

lol there's this side quest that requires me to light things with arrow
I didn't use arrow and the NPC reacted accordingly... so cool

Cave of Trials Floor 50: Fight 3 Lynels at once

The game is already pretty difficult, and you can make it harder on yourself by only upgrading your stamina.

Whatever hard mode is will be probably be brutal.

So I checked the Wii U Eshop just now and Breath of the Wild no longer has its DLC Pass available for purchase.

What's up with that?
Mmm... yes. I guess if you access it from the game's menu screen should give you the option?
OR maybe WiiU's version moving some numbers? And they don't want to give players any more reasons to not upgrade to the Switch..? :s

I think if you play wisely, the game isn't really hard
I really want to know what the hard mode is

Hahaha yes, i totally didn't even realise you could
change the trunk

maybe you have hunger and other stuff.

I still get one shotted by most enemies with 13 hearts and good armor.....so upping the damage wouldn't make the game any harder lol

Not wearing clothes is brutal, too. Finally had to give up naked link run after ruta, wasn't worth it to get one shot by trash moblins.

So are people leaning more towards heart containers or stamina when they upgrade? I'm still in the early stages and so far I've only opted for heart containers, as stamina seems more like a convenience (sprinting for longer) so far, rather than vital, especially when it an be supplemented through cooking...

I think I'll get one stamina upgrade for every three or four heart containers....

I suggest starting now. You'll die plenty on normal as it is.

FINALLY! After about an hour again I finally managed to get 20 targets in the
horse bow shooting
minigame. I'm terrible at aiming lol

The Major Test of Strength shrines give you amazing equipment though.

Makes fighting the regular guardians in Hyrule Field pretty trivial
Shame they only last like a few hits. I would much rather they drop the fucking arrows.

I was considering buying the guardian armor set but now I figured I would prefer to buy the arrows since I have limited resources.

So this shrine where I have to shoot an arrow into once the shadow of the tower is over it: What am i supposed to do? Stood beside it and shot it once it lighted up but nothing. Do I have to do it from the tower or use an electric arrow?

Also thanks to everyone who answered my previous questions. Thread is moving fast so it can be hard to thank from time to time.

If it's the one I'm thinking of, it's not an arrow you have to shoot at a specific time of day, it needs to have fire on it like a fire arrow

you are misunderstanding what you are supposed to be shooting. regular arrows work

If it's the one I'm thinking of, (answer)
you have to shoot the sun with an arrow.

Must be more than one of those.
Edit: Yep, it's that one.

Anyway, I'm i
nside Van Ruta
. I honestly don't get it. :/ I don't want to look it up, but I don't really get what I'm supposed
to do with the wheels at all.

I really like this game way more then I thought I would. I have never finished a 3D Zelda game and my favorite games in the series are 1, 2 and Four Sword Adventures. This is the first time the series makes sense in 3D to me and that makes me happy. Usually what stops me playing is me getting bored and stuck on some puzzle in a dungeon when I want to be out doing adventuring in the world where the awesome music is. So far the shrines have been quite short and easy for that to not be a problem, also with the game being so open I can just go somewhere else if I don't feel like doing something. Reminds me way more of how I play Zelda 1 or 2. Well see if that changes if the game starts introducing meatier puzzles.
