Finally just encountered and now I see why people would advise to not sell your monster materials.I mean so far I had no problems, but if the third and four fairies will keep up that pace there will definitely come a time where I will have to run around and search for certain bugs/materials/monsters.

So, I originally wanted to explore the rest of one particular area, but then a NPC talked something about a great fairy in an entire different region, so I said: fuck it! I'm hunting fairies now! So far, I've still only found the very first one.

I'm definitely in the market for finding the other fairies now. Haven't bumped into anyone leading me to another though. Haven't really checked out the west or very south regions though.

Is there any reason not to sell my gems like opal and sapphires? Could do with the extra money to buy some armour but I'm concerned I'll meet some guy who requires 10 topaz or something like that.

Link DOES have a personality in this game. His dialogue options are great.

My favorite dialogue that had me almost laughing was when Link is talking to
Hudson (the builder) before the Tarrey Town stuff. The guy talks a lot and the only replies Link has are one word responses lol

I am having the worst time with my joycon and their range. It's at the point where I'm getting a pro controller just to deal, which I am not happy about. I have no need for the pro controller, really

What issues are you having? I've yet to have a problem using joy cons.

I'll spoiler tag it to be sure, involves Amiibo's:

The twilight outfit from the Smash Bros. Link requires Topaz to upgrade. I assume the other Amiibo outfits require the other materials

I just sold all my monster mats to
the monster shop guy buying ridiculous monster masks
lol

Question about clothes. I have two open slots. Thinking of buying a three set of clothes. Will my inventory handle that or do I have to get rid of something?

Edit: more slots open. coolio

Apparently they're used for armour upgrades later on. I've been selling everything over 5 to at least have rupees for outfits. Some NPC's actually tell you to sell them for money.

I don't know if you guys have already posted this gif.

This game....

I still have 2 ???? in my Special Skills or whatever it's called in Options menu, and I just got my first
Divine Beast Ruta
conquered, have I missed something? If yes, I'd appreciate a pic of that menu with all skills unlocked to see what I have missed later.

Wow, I just teared up hearing the
Rito
village music. Goosebumps all over! It's like a Miyazaki / Joe Hisaishi version of the Wind Waker song specifically composed for a strong character driven story moment of their movies. This is simply beautiful! I love this game!

This game....

I'd have given up the ability to bat rocks at them in exchange for more than like 3 enemy types (bokoblin variants, big tall alligator guy variants, and chameleon lizard dude variants)

Does this work for every Octorock or only the stone ones? I've fought several but none have started vacuuming for me.

How does the leviathan quest trigger? I've talked to this group of people very serious about figuring out the mystery, and I've seen a big pile of bones to the
east
of them. But I've had no quest title appear and their dialogue hasn't changed. I've also seen some massive bones
in the southwestern area of the map, near the Arbiter's grounds.
Not sure which are relevant to the quest.

Is it possible to ride the
snow rhinos
on Hebra?

daamn the guardians are relentless, got to one and it demolished me

Ya ran into my first really aggressive one last night. Like it wouldn't let me escape it was right on my butt for a long time. I was dodging behind rocks, running like mad, and then jumped into the water below, and it was still after me. Had to warp the f out of there!

Anyone have a good octopus guardian farming route? I need me some more cores...

Just put them as target for your Shiekah sensor and spawn on the tower near
Hyrule Castle
, the sensor does the rest for you. That's about...8-10 guardians per run?

After those are all dead you should redo all your
Major Tests of Strength
, those Nano-Bots also drop the item you seek and as a bonus you get weapons you can use on the Guardians.

my only complaint about this game is the explorations music.... sure i see what they wanted to do there.... but it's really boring IMO

I put music of wind waker, link's awakening etc... on my PC during these phases

the villages, boss and story moments music where amazing beside that!

I was carrying one of those glowy balls for a puzzle and stopped to fight a moblin. The moblin picked up the ball and threw it at me.

Did a sidequest for Lasli, gathering fireflies.

After I collected them I find out that they're next to her house...

Oh well.

got one in grupo fortress that after the first attack was always basically on top of me the whole time.. in the time I got back up on my feet the laser was already recharged

Omg there is 8-10 in hyrule field? I never found that many. Gotta go back there...

The opposite happened to me. I was carrying an orb to deliver to the platform. Saw a moblin and dropped the ball to fight it. Another moblin approached and it picked up the orb and threw it to the sea. What a dick.

There aren't many enemy types?
Not a huge amount. I wish there were more, too. They interact dynamically in a way that sometimes reminds me of Halo—but not quite. Most of their behaviors remain aggressive even when they are unique (like Moblins picking up smaller scrubs and chucking them at you). Would be cool to see things run away when scared (this happens only with wildlife as far as I can tell, ie wolf packs). But the variation that comes with groups still sometimes creates the feeling that the mob makeup is what is meant to be unique (how do you fight the three black Lizalfos with a Wizzrobe throwing lightning balls at you?), not the individuals within it.

This is what I've seen so far (excluding bosses), along the western side of the map:
Bokoblins
Stalkoblins
Moblins
Stalmoblins
Wizzrobe
Lynel
Lizalfos
Chuchu
Keese
Stalkeese
Octorok
Pebblit
Guardian stalker
Guardian scout
Guardian skywatcher
Guardian turret
Lizalfos
Stalizalfos
Malice eyeballs/Bubbles

Most enemies also have color variations that seem to alter their toughness, but these are the major categories (these are how I would separate them by behavior).

There is also the hostile wildlife to contend with:
Rams
Wolves
Rhinos
Bees
Bears (?) - I have seen screenshots of these but haven't encountered any

As far as I can tell, there are no hostile
aquatic creatures
, which is a drag.

I'm not sure why the decision was made to have Link unable to target hostile wildlife. Some encounters still feel like little fights.

really hard to find the music i want on youtube! Any idea what music is playing when
impa is telling the story?
It's a new version of the main theme of the legend of zelda mixed with ganon's theme

Can you find Koroks in the swirly leaves/sparkles that just sorta hover then disappear when you get near? I know some you can examine but not these. Unless, i just had a thought, I have to sneak up.... :o

A question about horses:

If I leave a registered horse somewhere, can I pick it up in a stable, or do I have to actually store a horse to be able to pick it up later?
