I can't stress enough how tear jerkingly beautiful the music of the
Rito
village is - probably my most beloved track in this game so far! Really interesting what they did with this particular Wind Waker piece. I could stand here and chill for minutes, but I'm going after the second dungeon now! Hell, I'm excited!

Gerudo beast has me totally stumped

you just gotta time your hit or parry right for when he's doing that little zig zag dash at you, honestly. having a bunch of food on you doesn't hurt either.
for the second part of the battle
you gotta must magnesis on the shards he throws in the ground and make them draw his own lightning to him

having now explored almost all the west, and a good portion of the east I gotta say it seems the east is waaay better developed with more treasure, towns, stuff to do, etc.

anyone else feel the same? feels like a lot of content maybe couldnt be added to the western map

Yeah absolutely. I posted a couple days ago that the desert seems like the biggest offender of a big open area with little to do. After starting out with the East, the West seemed underdeveloped to me as well; now granted I have a lot more exploring to do there but those were my initial impressions.

Oh no im stuck in the dungeon. 30 in so far and not a single terminal activated. I have no idea how to get to any of em

Couldn't agree more! All of the areas that had music with throwbacks just made me miss the presence of music that much more. Hyrule castle was also a treat.

OK, I give up. How do I get the ball out of Impa's house? I have no leads right now. No more quests in the village from what I can tell, and Impa and Paya aren't giving me any hints.

Highlight of my last two hours was beating the monsters on Hateno beach. Spent a lot of time rolling bombs down the hill before I risked running down there, and without their own lances I wouldn't have stood a chance.

Is it worth it buying the house? That's a lot of money.

I can safely say the west has just as much stuff to do, I would say. You just need to either use Sand Seals or Sandboots to traverse easier.

In fact, the west even had a
Great Fairy
among other things

I mean, it is a desert after all. It may be big but it takes no time at all to get around thanks to the sand seals. Honestly it might be my favorite area in the game so far.

You need to buy the house to
unlock a town later in the game

Rotate every thing at least one all the way around so you can snag anything that may be in the sides of the camel. Those side holes will be necessary to activate at least one of the terminals. Then the rest of the terminals are green electricity based I believe.
both ends of the camel are important

Okay, well I found the first section I really hate:
Yiga Clan
stealth section. I swear to god my sneak strikes don't work 30% of the time, and I have no idea why. Sometimes I can sneak up on a dude and take him out easily, then I do the exact same thing and the sneak strike prompt never comes up and he sounds the alarm. So frustrating.

I realized that you can skip basically every non-boss fight

Tempted by a no-fight run

Me too, even though I'm right behind them, also, you can skip this section if you take another path

Hebra mountain is the most barren. A couple shrines and hotsprings which are cool though.

How does Zoras Domain have the most stable FPS lol. This is on Wii U too and it runs damn fine in this village

So i got to the butt and i see a ladder that lets me get to the second floor. But its covered in evil. Guess thats how you get to the terminal on the hump?

Yeah. Without spoiling, you need to check out the floor with the metal thing that turns and the weird pillar too.

considering you can go, run in, and pick up every weapon in the castle right after you get off the great plateau, it shouldn't be too hard

Quite a lot. Those activities are dull after the first few times you do them. Filler.

Ah okay. It just seems like a lot of the people that complain about a barren world only have like 30 or so Korok seeds and are missing the fact that there is quite a lot to do in the world.

I eagerly anticipate when they manage to get off the Plateau early.

you need the cloth to get to/through the castle, so I dunno. you'd have to glitch the game into thinking you completed the four shrines or something?

edit: getting to the end of the speed run now.
so THAT's what happens when you don't kill the divine beasts
you just gotta fight the four blight ganons before you fight calamity

I'm on the same part! I find if you come from the side instead of straight on, you can get the sneak strike pretty reliable.

"You cannot save right now".... C'mon Nintendo.
