They are the ultimate oh shit button, also I pretty much just use them for guardians

Added spoiler about killing what you talked about and items

But the guardians drop amazing parts that are needed to build some of the best armour and weapons in the game! Also the guardians are easy to kill by rebounding their laser with the shield...

I think I despise Thunderblight Ganon.

Is there a trick to this fight I'm missing? Because at the moment he just warps up to me and shits on me no matter what I do. Perfect dodging doesn't seem to work, and the parry window's miniscule. In the first phase I just end up wearing his shield down by hitting him a bunch - I have to be doing something wrong.

keep a decent shield up on his warp attack and it should do no damage. his shield survives four hits no matter the strength, so i kept a travelers sword on me to use for it then switched to something better right when his shield breaks. sneak in a few attacks after he falls down then run away and avoid his lightning ball attacks and wait for the warp again.

phase 3 he switches to an electrical attack that will end you if you have a metal shield, so switch to wood at that point.

They still drop the parts when you kill them with the arrows, the walker guardians take 3 parries to kill, it's much faster on time to just do one spreadshot arrow and move on with my life xD I only parry the stationary ones Plus with the rock climbing mini game playing that twice lets me buy 20 of those arrows

Who seen this interview that confirmed that Netflix actually attempted to adapt Zelda into a movie?: http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/he...laying-video-game-her-father-named-her-984891

There have been talks for decades of making a film adaptation of the Zelda games. Is that anything you’d be interested in?

I mean, it’s the same way that people have continued to treat me right now and say that they wanted me to voice Zelda in the game. I don’t know how meta Nintendo would actually want to go. I love working with them in the sense that they send me the games and I get to be nerdy and tweet about them every once in a while, but it might be a little on the nose. I know they’ve had it in development at Netflix and places like that, but it’s a very difficult thing to adapt because essentially an enormous amount of what was so great about it for people was that they got to inhabit and interpret Link the way that they wanted to because he didn’t speak. He still doesn’t. He never has dialogue, and I don’t know how you’re going to have a lead character who doesn’t have a voice. As a writer, that’s a fascinating challenge. I’ve never seen a movie where the lead of a fantasy epic is mute, but I don’t know if my version of, “Wow, that seems like it would be a fun, difficult script to write” equals “This should be a television show or a movie.” I have no idea.

Completed all the main quests and I think I'm gonna try to beat the main game in a bit.

How does the game handle the post game? Evil has been destroyed? Rewinds time to before you beat the game? Something else?

Thanks. I'll probably just try it later on when I'm not quite as annoyed. On average though I think the boss fights might be my least favourite part of the game so far.

This has happened to me at least 3 times. Without the dying part though. They are way predictible and leave themselves open for attack a lot.
He was selling me expensive Bananas that I didn't buy. Then he just became a ninja and flipped and shit... What a crazy game.

Farming items to upgrade all my armor definitely will take a bit.

I wasted it all getting those sweet, sweet monster vendor items and cleaned that guy out.

Can someone tell me if I miss anything in the Zora's Domain quest if
I don't kill the Minotaur guy when I collect 20 shock arrows.

No your not supposed to
kill him. He has ridiculous HP and hits like a truck. Later those enemies are found all over the open world and you can fight them. The hardest enemy in the game is a silver one that can be found in the coliseum ruins after you progress far enough in the game.

Guys I don't know if that is a spoiler but do you really need a certain amiibo to get
a certain horse or can you get it in the wild too by some chance?

I searched google and everyone keeps saying you'd need that certain amiibo from smash brothers to unlock the horse of legend,
I'd rather catch it myself >_>

Amiibo exclusive
There is another special one you can get tho :D

So I just recovered all the memories from the pictures
do you really not get anything for it? I was expecting an upgrade to the master sword, like a beam attack or something.

Yeah she's tied to Smash Bros. Link.

So, what items can I sell without later regretting it?

as far as I know you only need the ancient parts (after upgrading your tablet) if you care
about buying the ancient weapons and armor from the one place....
I didn't care about that so I started selling them

Just got ambushed by an octorok while feeding my horse. Horse then fell into the water and swam to safety on his own.

I already knew horses could do that, but I was still impressed.

I think the rain is actually the thing that annoys me the most in the whole game....

I can deal with the durability and the inventory management buy having rain every 5min when you'Re trying to explore around is really fucking annoying.

Finally after around 80 hours of gameplay I tackled my second dungeon - the
Rito
one. I realle liked the mechanics inside, but it could have been a bit longer and I think they could have taken the mechanics and design and done something even more complex with it - oh, and the boss was a joke if you had bomb arrows!

Still had fun, but I liked the
Zora
one a lot more, especially since it had a greater sense of build up.

Whoa, what a run! I was finally able to get the Master Sword.

Then I got brave and decided to battle some guardians. Boom, one down, two down, three down. The timing was clicking with me. So I decided to go further and snuck into Hyrule Castle.
Hyrule Castle spoilers....

This Castle is massive and fucking loaded with cool ass weapons and shields. It's also fun as hell once you are inside. I found a secret passage in the library to the docks. There is a shrine so I can warp back at any time. It also looks like you can enter the Castle through a secret water passage and it's easier than how I got in. Really, this Castle rocks. When you guys get there, look everywhere. There's cool items and lore that really bring to light the relationship between Zelda and the king. I got the heck out of there because the guardians were getting pretty intense the higher I went. Btw, the master sword is rated a 30, except in the Castle it's a 60.

Exclusive to Amiibo but there are better horses in the game.
epona
is 4-4-4. Apparently you can get 4-4-5 and 5-4-5 horses if you look in the right places. Horses are not randomized. They are all precisely placed.

Can you get the white horse back? My son played the game for a bit and said it's dead!

There is a fairy that can resurrect horses, if you registered it you can get it back. If not...

What are the classic outfits? And which amiibo do they come from? That sort of thing gives me the shits because I'm never going to buy an amiibo.

I finally figured out the timing for parrying the Guardian lasers, but I thought I had read somewhere that you didn't need to parry when you have a Guardian Shield equipped.

Anyway, finally got my runes leveled up.

Such an addictive game.

Frost Tallus down.
Didn't know they would melt and as their weakpoint is on the side it's better to keep firing arrows. In defrosted mode and without arms the Tallus will try to gather ice, but if you hit its weak point again with an arrow it will flinch like critting a normal enemy would. I found it way easier than climbing the thing and try to hit the weak spot.

Can anyone tell me if there is armour that gives you the haste effect? I am assuming that there is an armour set for all of the effects in the game from what I'm seeing so far.

If there is one could you please point me in the direction of it?

He tried to feed a carrot to it when it was dead on the ground. Motionless.. carrot landed by its mouth. Thinking it would get up for the food!

Then vanished...

Was it registered?
