Can anyone tell me if there is armour that gives you the haste effect? I am assuming that there is an armour set for all of the effects in the game from what I'm seeing so far.

If there is one could you please point me in the direction of it?

The stealth set sold at Kakariko. The haste effect only activates at night though.

The
stealth armor
gives you haste at night as the set bonus after you get all pieces to rank two.

Korok seeds count for 72% so basically 28% is 100% IMO

The % on the Map is literally just map completion %. Its really only pertaining to map icons and map labels. Actually completing shrines, getting side chests in shrines, doing story missions, completing sidequests, etc. don' matter for that number.

Finally finished the game. 90+ shrines, all main quests. Great game, but quite a few weak points. Not quite sure how I feel about BotW.

Are there really
900 Korok Seeds? 900!? I found about 40!

There are
two armour sets that have a speed bonus though, it's only at night. The Sheikah Set has a night speed bonus after upgrading it twice. The other set it a bit more of a spoiler.

The other set is the Dark Link Set which you can get from Kilton.

Well this is incredible: Vertical surfaces don't just become harder to climb when rain is the current weather state -- that only happens when they actually become wet. I was just able to climb up a surface perfectly fine because it was shaded from the rain.

I spend way too much time cutting grass

Not really a spoiler.
And you can light fires under over hangs to wait out the rain

The lonely cedar tree shrine puzzle in the snowy mountains is really great - I love how you have to keep an eye on the geometry around you!

Also, does anybody else love exploring the regions without having activated the towers yet? It's really the epitome of exploring the unknown. I mostly spend around an hour in unknown region let myself explore the random points of interest that attract my attention leave and came back for a more systematic exploration once I activated the tower!

is it crazy to buy a switch just for this game? NOTHING on the horizon (heh) aside from it as far as I can tell. Mario will be great and likely some bundles/deals by that time. Is it worth waiting?

I'm even considering getting a wii u just for availability. All these gameplay videos are making it very hard to resist.

Sounds fun but if I did this I would have even less time to play and I've had it since launch and feel like I've done nothing :(

So if I want two save files on one profile, I should just be able to hard save my current/going for 100% playthrough and then use autosaves for the new save file, right? Of course as soon as I loadup my hard save its good bye to the newsave file but it should work. I'm kinda wondering how far I could go with a 3 heart, no heal, Default clothing run lol.

Nintendo will have to be careful, because they could suffer from a backlash depending on how they approach the next title. You've now incorporated numerous open world conventions, so it's going to be hard to go back. Most people will expect open world gameplay, crafting, go anywhere at anytime, etc.

If anything, I would cut down on shrines in favor of typical Zelda dungeons + boss battles at the end.
Yeah I really hope the next 3D Zelda game is open world. I think it would be better to toss away the Shrines but do about 15-25 Devine Beasts style Dungeons instead.

If the next game is open world it needs to be completely different from Hyrule. Need a totally new world to explore!

(And yes I'm quoting a 20 page old post. I'm behind lol.)

What sucks is the next game won't start development until atleast 2018 thanks to DLC. I want the new dungeon and story but that makes a new world farther off. >_<

Oh wow, I hadn't even thought about this. Sounds like a great idea for a second playthrough.

I hate this parry and perfect guard system so fucking much. It's unbelievably unforgiving and the timing seems completely whack at times.

Just did a shrine around Death Mountain that was surprinsingly long. I did the first little part and expected to get the orb, but it was the first of many puzzles. Really cool.

I saw someone say they tried an amiibo like 30 times and didn't get the special items? What does this mean? It only lets me scan once a day?

Do you mean for parrying
lasers? The problem is that the beams have travel time, so you can't simply use audio and visual cues from the Guardian itself to properly parry.

Its thrilling to go to a new region. I always put on Pro Mode and just dive into the unknown. The sense of discovery is unparalleled.

No your not supposed to
kill him. He has ridiculous HP and hits like a truck. Later those enemies are found all over the open world and you can fight them. The hardest enemy in the game is a silver one that can be found in the coliseum ruins after you progress far enough in the game.

Cool.

I only have 4 hearts and maybe got him half way once but decided to stealth it.

Can you get the white horse back? My son played the game for a bit and said it's dead!

Spoilers regarding horses:
It is indeed possible to resurrect dead horses. There is a location in Faron that looks like a fairy fountain, but is actually the Valley of the Horse God who can revive any horses that died of misadventure.

Okay, can someone convince me that I'm not crazy here? I swear that for most of the game, aiming with the bow wasn't fully first-person even when not targeting an enemy. Yesterday, though, I think I pressed something or did something weird, and now every time I draw my bow it goes into full first person mode which causes my turning while aiming to be a lot slower. Have I just somehow been completely misremembering how aiming works? If not, how do I switch it back to normal?

Pretty sure they will atleast start planning/considering ideas for the next game while they make the dlc.

A Majora's Mask like game with reused engine and assets would be cool i don't mind having the same artstyle again if that means a new Zelda 3d game in 2-3 years instead of nearly 6:P

this korok tailing mission is the fucking worst. It randomly turns around a bunch of times and you can barely even see the thing on the screen, so whoops there goes another 5 minutes of boring bullshit.

Goddamn, my friend told me to get a bandana because it would mean no more slipping away when climbing mountains while it rains. This is not true sadly. Is there really nothing that simply removes this increasingly annoying feature? It really adds nothing but annoyance in my book.

Please tell me there's an outfit or anything because goddamn this. I really have to now wait for the rain to go away because I just can't climb up this mountain and normally I would just fast travel somewhere close and done but now I am in the middle of a fight with a Guardian that is nearing death. :(

You're probably using a particular bow that works this way.

Link's default Smash costume on Switch should be the blue champion outfit with ancient arrows as a weapon.

I hope not. The classic tunic is way more iconic and not everyone that plays this game is going to wear the champions tunic. I think I put it on a grand total of one time.

Making a fire and wait till next morning or noon. Most of the time the rain is away for me if i do that. That's why i keep a huge amount of wood and flint with me.
