The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild |OT2| It's 98 All Over Again

One of the puzzles in the lizard dungeon seems quite poorly designed, in so much as it's very easy for the player to mess up the intended chain of events and unintentionally make it a lot harder for themselves.

To get in one of the rooms you need to light a torch by shooting the blue flame through an eye shaped hole in the door. The door then opens and you can shoot some vines to free a metal box. Pretty straightforward if done in that order.

However, it's possible to burn the vines and free the box first, by shooting a flame through the space in the metal grating. However, if you do this and then tilt the lizard, and then tilt it back again, the box gets stuck in front of the torch and never gets free again through tilting. Instead the player has to use magnesis to move the box out of the way to see the torch.

While that sounds reasonable enough, this got me stuck for about half an hour when I did it in that order. I didn't know there was a torch behind that door, nor did I know that a movable box was behind that door that shouldn't have been. I quit the game and took a break and when I reloaded my save all the vines in the dungeon had been restored, meaning the box wasn't blocking the eye in the door. I noticed very quickly the door looked different. Normally I put it into sleep mode so I got lucky that I actually quit the game on this occasion and it reset some thing. Otherwise I'd probably still be running around cluelessly.

It really doesn't feel like they should let you do things in that order, especially because the player can't see into those rooms properly to understand the chain of events that has occurred.

i just encountered this bitch

lmfao. i burned it all down

You could have done without calling her a bitch. Twice. Kind of egregious.

What's with these homies dissing my girl? What they gotta front?

That's excellent design lol.

I wish all the dungeons were as complex as the Camel

any others have any self imposed rule or anything? like for me I never hunt any animals for meat except boar, occasionally.
Only 3 hearts, only 3 stamina bars, no healing mid fight. The last one i bend depending on my mood, but it usually makes for a fun time.

She only got mad at me once, so I had no problems with her. But I watched a friend of my fuck up and step on her flowers like three times and she flipped haha. Beat his ass up.

i actually burned her flowers with my flame sword. thats why she got mad. but yeah, i legit got scared when it happened. i thought she was going to transform

Is there anything worthwhile in the divine beasts? I'm starting to clear them now and it seems that
you can't return them after completing it. There doesn't seem to be an indicator saying I'd you got all the chests either.

I recently did some shrine that had to do with
a giant ball you can't reach, being bounced up and down periodically on a pillar coming out of the ground
What is the intended way of doing it? I ended up
using magnesis on the treasure chest above and using it to knock the ball out of place. But it feels all wrong.

Yeah I heard my friends about her, hahaha. But where can I find her?

Also in Hateno Village I've decided to light every lantern with the blue fire and I don't think I've missed any. I sure did expect a Korok or something. Is there one and have I missed a lantern or is there nothing to doing this?

Link's default Smash costume on Switch should be the blue champion outfit with ancient arrows as a weapon.

Most definitely. And with remote bombs and etc.

I hope they expand on custom moves in Smash 5 so they're actually unique. Link having Stasis and things like that as specials would be sweet.

What would be the best BOTW Smash stage?

I froze the ball in the air and shot it with a few arrows.

There's a purpose for this. Go to the lab in Hateno.

Not sure how you were actually supposed to beat Ganon's
second to last phase
but I just
used the Gerudo special to remove that shield he had.
Hyrule Castle was awesome can't wait to go back and explore it more fully. More on the final fight.
Final fight was a bit meh because they cut his health in half automatically. I also had a really awful horse so it made things more difficult than it should have been at the end.

So should I just buy the
Snowquill
outfit or can I get it from shrines in the area? Got above 3,000 rupees so I have a choice between that and the
house
.

I know I keep asking, but does anybody know how to reobtain the Forest Dweller items you get from that particular trial? Every item has had a way to reobtain it, even one-off items meant for a quest, but this one isn't apparent and I really want them again.

I found a piece in one of the shrines. Can't remember which one sorry...

I was just irritated that I felw down almost on top of the shrine, and touched her flowers (unbeknownst to me that she was even there) and she freaked out and it made me have to walk all the way around. Thats when I started messing with her flowers lol. Woman is crazy.

Hateno Village or Hyrule Castle/Front Hyrule castle with Guardians in the back ground that sometimes shoot on the stage (this should be toggleable in stage options)

Hateno one should have NPC's in background.

Climbing the akkala tower and it starts to rain. Fucking hell the worst possible time too.

Haha, I'm trying to do the same thing (but different tower). Worse, I waited out the rain and now it's a thunderstorm! Not a fan of the weather system in this game.

Oh man, does anybody else hate to end your gaming session with only 3 shrine orbs? Seems so satisfying to get another reward just before you turn of the game.

Currently climbing in that same area and running into the same thing. I really hate the rain in this game.

Its so annoying considering this towers specific obstacles.

Faron was the worst. It was thunderstorms for days with annoying wizzrobes at the base. Went through so many elixers man.

Was exploring around the Gerudo... fight off a wave of enemies.... tried to pick up their loot... more enemies came because it slipped into evening and I got beat up. I rage quitted and turned the game off. Lol

Hahaha that's horrible. It rained for me there but luckily I wasn't climbing anything and I believe I made use of the cook pot that was around there to skip past the bad weather (and cook additional meals just in case).

That tower was definitely the second hardest for me to get up.

What monster drops got you mad enough to turn the game off?

That would be cool. A mountain stage would also be cool given the emphasis on climbing in this game, I think they're a pretty standout landmark. Maybe Mt. Lanayru?
