Good non-remix music from BotW:
Molduga Battle 2
Vah Rudania 2
Akkala Ancient Tech Lab
And every version of the main theme.

Music isn't around that often, but when it does kick in it's good IMO. If only there was more of it.

I do love how several non-boss enemy types have their own music, how when you finish a fight the music transitions into an ending bit naturally, how as you progress through a dungeon the music starts to build up and add instruments, all those little kinds of musical touches.

Agreed. The music is great. Prince Sidon theme,
Vah Ruta battle theme
Hyrule Castle,
Korok Forest
Theme and every dungeon theme are just a couple of the few tracks I remember.... it has great music

Unfortunately I haven't had a lot of free time to play due to life getting in the way. Last night all I could do was 2 side missions. Well tonight I finally had some free time. I went off of the mainland and went onto an island.

WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEW LAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAD

This fucking game indeed.

All about the
divine beast
themes right now. Revisiting the soundtrack postgame has been nice, it's the one aspect of the game that my appreciaton has increased the most with over time.

Divine Beast Vah Ruta

Wind Remains B
Electric Remains B

Man. This game is going to wreck an entire generation of young people. I'm wondering if this game is too hard for my 10 year old nephew. He's a pretty bright kid, and I think he'd like it but I don't know if he could get past the initial difficulty curve. The game is brutal in its first few hours.

Oh so you can cook fairies! Good to know.

Does anyone know how to trigger the spawn for the horse
Lord of the Mountain
? I sat and passed time at least 60 times from different stables but never saw the event in the area. I should have went there when I saw it when I firsr started :(

What do I need to add to the Electric Keese Wings to get a shock-resistant elixir? Any critters I pick just end up imbuing their own properties on to the elixir that gets made. 😡

I thought I was on the path to the
Master Sword
when someone told me to head towards
Woodland Stable
but I haven't found anything to point me further along

there's no spawn, you're just in the wrong place

Got myself the
Hylian Shield
. It looks and sounds awesome, and the run through that area got me plenty of good weapons, though they all seem unique so I'm hesitant to use them.

Holy fuck I didn't know how I lucked out of getting the treasure in Miro Shazz shrine. The whole shrine was easy but getting the treasure was so frustrating lol.

This game always finds little ways to surprise you when randomly exploring.

Was just running through the desert
and saw an encampment skull on a hill and started going towards it. The sand picked up a lot around this area and the map got totally disabled and just showed static on top of it getting hard to see. I manage to get up to the enemies and have a big fight that was surprisingly rough, grab a diamond from the chest and climb on top, not really able to see anything but head back farther anyway. Sand clears, my map comes back and I see a giant ass skeleton in the ground and the final fairy fountain.

This fucking game.

The only two memorable tracks for me (That aren't remixes) so far are Sidon's theme and the Hyrule Castle theme. The soundtrack is disappointing.

My favorites are the Guardian battle theme, Rito Village, Gerudo City, (just to be safe, don't click this unless you've finished the game)
Dark Beast Ganon.

And the main theme, but that's a given. That song is one of the best in the franchise, not just Breath of the Wild.

Where does he appear then? Because from what I understand, he only appears at
Satori Mountain
and I have been waiting at the nearby stable, checking the area for when the event happens. But so far the
green haze/light
has not appeared.

Easy?!

Maybe I just missed something and should go give it another whirl, because that shrine is the only one I've been to so far where I've thrown in the towel and left.

The trick is
to just strike the orb in stasis 5 times and let the ball roll to the hole.

Getting the treasure is another story lol.

Man I really wish I was enjoying the game as much as you guys, I just don't feel anything from playing it... :(

Not only in the first few hours, I'm far from that and I still get killed on a regular basis.

Still...

I received my Nes Mini a couple days ago, I tried it... and I was wrecked even more. And I don't remember the NES days as awful (well, except some REALLY specific games). The fact that a lot of games recently have been awfully easy makes you surprised at the "difficulty". But when you look at it, you have infinite retries and automatic saves, it makes things not that hard to handle.

Giving players more space to maneuver makes games infinitely easier.

My sone is about that age, and he's very familiar with sandbox/crafting games like Minecraft and Terraria. He has absolutely no issues with the difficulty. I think that gaming generation will solve many parts of the game in different ways compared to how old-time players solve them.

Were you very hyped about it? I've ruined games by being too hyped.

I find with Zelda, once i start getting bored/irritated i change my goal.

If I'm getting tired of main quest, i pick a point on the map and travel to it with the HUD off. Change pace to organic exploration. If I'm bored of exploring, i pick a random quest and drill down into it.

Honestly try without the HUD too, it feels like a different game. Pure, loose exploration.

Thank god thunderstorms IRL don't have lightning as ruthless as the storms in Hyrule. No one would dare step foot outside.
