Grabbing a couple of fish. Any way of luring them?
Dropping food.

Four years from now I'm going to do it again. Now you Zelda fans will know how I felt when Jim gave Kid Icarus Uprising a 5/10 and called it "total shite" roughly four years later in his Star Fox Zero review.
Against heat or fire? There are different armor for each
How is the enemy variety in this game?
Say what you will about Twilight Princess, but you had a pretty big rogue's gallery of enemies, compared to Skyward Sword. I was really disappointed that Skyward Sword was 90% moblins with the occasional lizalfos thrown in.
Will one 7/10 review from Jim really bring down the score to 97?
It's one of the things that definitely can be easily improved for a world so big. Not a big deal though imo.

I hope not. I'd hate to upset you after all that work you did developing the game. Will one 7/10 review from Jim really bring down the score to 97?

I just figured out that I can do quick draw attacks!!
While your weapon is sheathed
Tap F+B+Y (default wiiu)
Works well for the heavy weapons where you first have to tab Y to unsheath and then Y again for the first attack which is slow.
Try it!
Same as you and I'm prob about 130 hrs in.Man, this fucking game. I've put God only knows how many hours into it, I've only unlocked about a quarter of the map, beat one Divine Beast, and I still feel like I don't know what the hell I'm doing and I'm still scared of everything I come across murdering me horribly. And I can't stop playing. I've got other shit to do, Nintendo, what the fuck.
Going up death mountain and walking in the gerudo desert, can I find stuff before getting into those areas?
I have an irrational fear of water in video games so I'm fine with how this was handled lol.
Maybe water traversal underwater wasn't implemented because swimming anywhere you want underwater doesn't have the same impact as climbing and navigating through land? You don't have the effects of gravity and paragliding, or the sense of escalation? Of course, there can be design around that, but I can see why maybe that was skipped upon for now.
There is a girl in a stable near death mountsin that will give you anti fire potions. For the desert, its cold at night.

Yes, every shrine is technically optional in the same way not rocking up to Ganons front door and assaulting his forces with a tree branch is you can do whatever you like, but if you want to have a solid chance of actually succeeding, there is a proper, preconstructed way of doing things, and the proper way of handling shrines is to complete them on sight lest lose track of them finish as many of them as possible, as close to all 120 of the bloody things as you can.
Holy shit up to 51 now? Last time I checked it was 40 or so. Fucking crazy. Not with 51 perfect scores and the rest 9+
Pretty sure that guy despises Nintendo after coming across his pirate all Nintendo games piece.I like Jim's opinion pieces, but a 7 for Zelda and a 9.5 for Fallout 4 is the fastest track to irrelevancy I've ever seen.
That's uh... 13 hours a day since release. What the hell are you doing in that time to only have a quarter of the map? There's a lot of shrines, but there aren't THAT many shrines. No animosity though; I actually kind of admire that.
Quite late, but Jim Sterling has his review now up
http://www.thejimquisition.com/the-legend-of-zelda-breath-of-the-wild-review/
7/10
I hope it doesn't drop to 97
Opinions and whatever but 7/10 is unreasonable
Lol that would teach people not to use silly titles before it's time to. Maybe it would've been a decent one for OT3 or 4, OT2 should've been "Open Your Eyes".Will one 7/10 review from Jim really bring down the score to 97?
Is it true that he gave Fallout 4 a 9.5? I even like that game but that would just beMy respect for Jim's opinion went severley down after he awarded the pile of dung that is Watch dogs 2 a 9/10, and now he gives one of the greatest games of our time a 7?
Hmm, I'm all for everyone having their own opinion, but his is one I certainly will not be seeking for future reference.
I do have to thank him for highlighting Valley to me though, that was a great game.
Four years from now I'm going to do it again.
I got the game few days bef release. And I explore a lot. I spend hours just taming horses and riding around. I have about 100 seeds and 40 shrines. the exploration is th e best I've seen in gaming. That's uh... 13 hours a day since release. What the hell are you doing in that time to only have a quarter of the map? There's a lot of shrines, but there aren't THAT many shrines. No animosity though; I actually kind of admire that.
Bingo.People don't have to play the game efficiently.
Jims review lists off a number of what I'd call potential issues with this game. Any one of them in something else would be a deal breaker for most people but because it's Zelda , we're all giving it a pass.
I hope it doesn't drop to 97
