Holy fuck I somehow misread and thought the
Master Sword
only had 30 attack. It has 60 attack? Why even bother with anything else lol

The Master Sword is 30 attack if it is not drawn in proximity of Ganon's corruption.

spoiler for the ending of the gerudo part of the main quest

I tried to get the thunder mask but the matriarch says that i first have to solve all the problems in the citadel to get it..but i think i already did that..i looked everywhere inside the citadel and no one has a quest for me.what is a very well hidden quest in the citadel that i might be missing?

Check all four corners of the city. In one corner tucked away there is a little girl who is trying to grow a garden. It's easy to miss.

Really like Jim and have always respected his views, its never possible to agree with another person all the time

But when he gives Tri-force heroes 80 and Breath of the Wild 70 it's click bait and down to his dislike of their business practises

I totally get that, and it's obvious that he's decided to buck from the norm and score it badly to make the point, but it's come across as petty

Only when its glowing with holy light. Happens with certain enemies like moblins, bokoblins. Didnt happen against Lizalfos though.

How unfortunate that this game can't hold a candle against the greatness that is GTA 4 even in user review.

I only completed 1 dungeon and finally got the Master Sword and the only flaw is I can't pet a dog.

So I've been trying to find a red Hinox for my compendium, all the Hinox I've found are blue or stronger, does anyone know if there any area with a guaranteed red one, or have the enemy scaling screwed me over?

There's a shrine quest where you will encounter a red one. Something about mountain giants.

Do more climbing and walking on foot. Lynels are on little plateaus all over the map. I've bumped into 5 or so in the 4 regions I've been to. One time, I was hunting rare ores and fruits, found a hinox, climbed the mountain near by to dive bomb him and ran into a Lynel. Then after killing both of them, went in to a connected valley and woke up a talus.

I've seen like 7+ Taluses and 7+ Lynels. It just feels like for every Talus or Lynel I find, I also find at least 2 Hinoxes.

Speaking of which, how many Hinox variants are there? I've seen Blue and Red. Are there any Black or white ones, like with Bokoblins.

Just got to Rito Village and I need some better Cold Resist clothing. I already have the Warm tunic thing from the Great Plateu, If I buy the cold resist pants and wear them with the tunic would that be suffice for the cold mountain area?

What is the best way to earn alot of Rupees atm? Is there a better way to aside from the gambling method? Since I still havent gotten there yet, is there anything else I can do to earn alot of money to buy the Cold Resist outfit?

Can I sell the climbers bandana yet lol? Is it worth keeping still and is there a better climber gear?

There is a black Hinox. Never saw a white one up to now.

I had trouble finding a few quests as well, but there's one in particular that is hidden well:
There's an unassuming door in town somewhere. Investigate it.

There are black ones and Stalnoxes, which are fought slightly differently.

For some reason I dont remember them from ATTP and ALBW at all :O

They looked a lot different.

I used to respect jim but after this review I can no longer.

He is just not fair here, complaining about stuff that is a non issue and infact enhances gameplay. wtf is he smoking?

that being said.

I FUCKING LOVE this game, its the best game I have ever played. most polished and the best open world game to date, nothing comes even close. this open world is living like no other.

I am so happy i paid for a switch to play this, will sell my switch once im done with breath of the wild.

Memory #13

Aw man.
I feel really bad for Zelda :/ She seems to be struggling this whole game.

Dat Zeldas Lullaby during the cutscene though. Lord ;_;

I don't mind hinox because they're always holding weapons equal to or better than what you have, so it's a good refresher for my lower tiered weapons so I don't need to dip into my specialties. Sometimes I'll just fight them empty handed and wait till the first stagger. And finding talus seems like a puzzle itself. I'm always hopping on the little 3 piles of rock to see if I can get some gems.

One of my few real gripes with the game. As long as the BotW follow-up greatly improves on this, I can let it slide for now.

Eh when making a game this big there's usually sacrifices somewhere. Both Xenoblade games had lots of enemy reskins and I could say the same about other big open world games. I think it's fine and wouldn't expect a huge improvement going forward.

The one thing about this game that is really frustrating me is not being able to write notes/stamps on the map. I think that would help a ton.
As it is, here is how I use the symbols:

Sword - nothing yet

bow and arrow - where I think a memory may be

shield = something interesting

cooking pot - cooking pot

star - shrines and towers spotted but that i haven't been to yet

chest - treasure chest I haven't got

skull - stronger mini boss type enemies

leaf - where I think a korok may be but I haven't solved the puzzle

Diamond - large area of items or equipment
I agree, they're should be an option to doodle on the map, especially on two platforms worth touch screen capability. Would make using the map much easier. The icons and pins are ok but not as personal.

Similarly, there really should be a notebook to jot down ideas, recipes, etc. The
Twin Memories shrines
are literally begging for notes to be taken. Recipes would useful too.

As for stamps, mine are quite literal:

Sword - spawn point of a sword I might want to return to.

Bow and arrow - as above.

Shield - as above.

Cooking pot - haven't used it yet but would for cooking locations or possibly sites where key ingredients could be found (gourmet meat, hearty foods).

Star - general points of interest or intrigue.

Chest - a chest I have spotted but not opened.

Skull - big enemies or hordes of enemies.

Leaf - suspected or unsolved Korok location.

Diamond (?) - thought this represented shrines so that's what I use it for. I've got about ten I've spotted in the distance but haven't reached the location yet.

How do you check what current quest youre on? I'm early in the game and have started one but I can't find the screen which lists them.

Edit- found it!

So after probably 25h playing I found out that you can upgrade inventory space..

I cant stop getting a little offput by brittish Zelda. Something about the voice rings bad in my ears.

Because that's his opinion and reviews are reflections of a reviewer's opinions. Maybe it enhances gameplay for you but clearly it doesn't for him.

There's one in Lanayru Wetlands surrounded by some trees but still very much in the actual wetlands part. North from where a guardian patrols. Should be a ways south of the tower

Come on, did you even read the review? I think he summed up his complaints perfectly fine. You don't have to agree with all of them, I don't agree with all of his complaints either. I'm not going to say he only did it to get clicks though, I think his complaints warrant the score if he did really find them as much of an issue as he said.

Cool. Have to check it out then.

What's the best weapons you've gotten from a Hinox?

Has anyone else run into a Talus with the weak point stone in the wrong place? =/ I had to kill one from just shooting it in the bottom part of it's back repeatedly as opposed to the normal place the stone usually is on the top of it's head, was really annoying.

I pay no mind to sites like his. It just doesn't seem professional (look at the pics of naming his horse dick). I feel like it's a blog site (maybe it is - i haven't spent enough time there).
