You're in for a ride.
Do you know that feeling that you keep watching sooooo much bullshit on the internet, that you start to recognize where some of these bullshit arguments come from?
For example, he posts about how demographics themselves are more important than a stable and growing economy and also argues about how Japan is not expected to take in immigrants and that's why they are so well off (In reality, they have complex fucking porblems just as well. Their SUICIDE rate alone are seen to be higher than the US's suicide and homicide rate combined)
These are the same arguments of a youtube video making the rounds criticizing Islam and showing how Japan is superior because they are so into keeping their race "pure". Forget economic instability and the idea that it could create some strife because the Japanese people will be super happy in the future that they kept their race unstained. Doesn't Youtube have a policy against such people? I mean I know freedom of speech is important and he probably isn't using his Youtube channel to send out the message that he's sending via twitter but it is really dangerous to give persons like Jontron a platform where he can have millions of followers and spread nonsense.
Love how even his subreddit completely turned on him and is basically calling a racist idiot. When even the subreddit dedicated to you turn on you and is calling you a dumbass you know you fucked up. I really like his videos and usually try to separate the work from the artist but seriously.

It's the most predictable outcome every time someone like JonTron gets intellectually destroyed. It doesn't matter that nearly all of the points have been proven false. What matters is that the points were expressed.

99% of his work contains no traces of this stuff. Most people aren't aware. Drama does seem to follow him though, perhaps it's related to some of these views? Either way, Maker (Disney) needs to drop him ASAP.

I see more people speaking up on this issue from now on. Like they are not ashamed to express their real feelings and I find it good.
It's not nice when a lot o people hide their thoughts on important problems like immigration. And I personally don't see anything wrong when people go against globalism or multiculturalism, I find it very difficult to think in a world without borders, the cultures are too damn different.
I don't see any problems when you go to another country and adapt yourself though, the other way around is not fair imo.
Let the debate happen as long as it is respectful.

It's "not nice" when "young black males" are told that "they're the problem." Doubly so when one's argument to back it up relies on not backing it up because they don't want "to incriminate" themselves.

I don't think John's racism comes from a racist place, from what I gather of this opinions evolving over the years it seems to be a mix of anti-pc protest and the absorption of alt-right/white supremacist ideals.
People like John were always ripe for radicalisation. Not informed enough to really understand what they're forming opinions about, their anti-pc ideals being twisted against the left, outspoken with nothing to say, etc...
He's a full blown racist who probably truly believes he's not racist at all, and is flabbergasted by the responses he gets. He probably hasn't had his views pressed like this before so he's had no need to think the uninformed shit he spews holds no water.
So he din't realise this would hurt his career, I think he truly thinks he's fighting the good fight against the triggered PC hungry far-left or someshit. He's probably being coddled right now by alt-right fans and friends and being told he "won". If he takes a hit in viewers it won't ruin him and in a few weeks this will blow over for him.
I really hope this is some kind of wake up call, but the same ignorance and hate that radicalised him will now be smothering him in support telling him he was right, and I think falling back into the bosom of acceptance is a far more likely outcome than the pain of self-awareness and betterment.
These are the kinds of people we're dealing with. People who've been made true believers without even knowing it. And as part of that radicalisation is the utter denial of validity of the SJW PC left, and as the left are the ones trying to educate people like this, most attempts at education are going to fail.
We need to stand up to it every chance we get. Protest, inform, deny, and we /will/ make progress, but unfortunately I don't think JonTron's going to feel the negative weight of his words.
