Anyone having run into a diamond? I managed to find one soon after getting of The Great Plateau and now 50 hours later that's still the only I have...

This game got super amazing based on a random experience I had.

I was by that gerudo tower just working my way up the mountain side when I see a tough bokoblin and the bigger version. So I pull out a bomb to throw it at them since they had there backs turns to me when suddenly that octo thing sucks up the bomb and spits it back out @ me as I back flip to avoid the explosion. The bigger goblin picks up the smaller guy by the leg and Throws him at me! Wtf I had no idea they fought like that lol.
Then I kill the smaller guy and right as he's in mid air animation to die the big guy catches his airborne weapon and Pierce's me with it resulting in game over. All within about 10 seconds of that mind blowing experience.

I see what you mean, they did a great job ensuring that there were no duplicate models. I was more referring to the general bodies, head shapes and clothes, which are not individually tailored. An understandable limitation.

They're going for a more "realistic" body structure this time so it's understandable it's not as obvious. That said check out the Gerudo women, the differences are not exaggerated but there are numerous differences among them.

my switch finally displayed my playtime after 10 days! PLayed more than 90 hours with
120
sanctuary, 187 koroks seeds and 60 sidequests done!

Forgive me is this has been asked before. I don't really have the time to read through all 115 pages, and I also haven't used to WiiU enough to know if this is even a thing. Does Zelda run better on the gamepad or is it all just the same? I played on my TV and since then have been playing on the pad just out of convenience. Seems the same to me, but if it does run better on the pad I'll just stick to that. I'm not really minding the lower resolution and since I'm not used to the button layout it makes it a bit easier for me when I'm looking directly at the controller.

I'm looking for restless crickets for a side quest and have them registered to my Sheikah Slate Sensor but even though its beeping they're nowhere to be seen..? What gives? Any pointers?

Cut the grass, most of the time they are hiding in grass and you need to cut it for them appear (same as fairy hiding in grass and other small insects).

AFAIK it's the same, it's just streaming the input to your gamepad instead of the tv

Just whooped
Savage Lynel's ass in the Colliseum
. Hell of a fight. Amazing weapons, shield drops too. Going to go well with my Barbarian set!

It's funny, I get a 62 shield and my first thought is how long can I shield surf on this lol

Unless it's actually rendering and streaming 480p to the Gamepad for off-TV play, I'd assume it's the same. I've only done a small amount on the Gamepad, and didn't really notice any difference.

Probably mentioned before but has anyone had a staredown with a Lynel? I was on my third one (bastards are still tough to fight every single time), saved right before we fought. On restart after dying, I realize he's literally just staring at me from a short distance since I'm not moving... like he's sorting out what I am and my intentions. As soon as I draw my weapon, he charges at me in a rage. Feels like something straight out of Predator.

This fucking game.

Just my two cents: the Wii U gamepad's screen is so terrible that (couple with the low res obfuscating game detail) I don't think any small improvement in performance is worth it. I have played close to zero games on the gamepad whereas I was literally all weekend playing on the Switch in handheld mode.

Did the quest with
Hudson
last night where you
make the village
. This game is so deep! That quest was so easy to miss but it has a huge payoff. I played Twilight Princess in January and after 50 hours I feel like I saw 100% of that game. I'm probably 60 hours into Breath of the Wild and there's still so much I haven't seen.

I've had that. It was nuts.

what time do you become OP and able to kill all things?

I mean if you are a scrub like me and can't dodge/block for shit

Armor upgrade and use defense-up potions.

By the way, after a while you also become like MacGyver, able to use a lot of the environment to kill bad guys. Last night, I picked up an oar, lit it on fire on a nearby torch, and threw it at an explosive barrel and took out a bunch of bad guys. Then I rode the updraft created by the burning grass to paraglide over the surviving bad guys and sniped the rest of them with a few arrows.

Another time, I was strafing and fired a regular arrow right as a moblin shot a fire arrow at me. My arrow went through his shot, caught on fire and he got burnt. I wish I recorded it because it would be perfect for a "thread backfire" situation.

Aye. 60 hours in, beat the game, but my map is 35% complete, haven't done 2 of the main dungeons, sidequests are at like 33% done, and Shrines quests are like at 40% done. Overall shrines are at abut 55%. I'm still loving actually just getting around and exploring the world.

third armor upgrade I'd say

Yeah. The 3rd upgrade to
heavy armor types
just breaks the game complete.

That was a really great quest. The reward from it is amazing too.

When you finish the Gerudo dungeon and get
a screen nuke

I love the way the climbing gear looks, which is good since I wear it prolly 60% of the time.

Don't remember where I found the chest piece, but I've had that forever.

Just found the pants last night.

Ironically haven't found the headpiece yet and that seems to be the most common according to folks online.

Well, considering there is a form of enemy scaling in the game... idk.

Maybe when you start getting crazy good weapons and the
previous Champions powers from the Divine Beasts.

I wore a
lynel
mask and he was hella confused. Like wtf are you. Then he yelled real loud and it seemed like he was waiting for me to yell as well. When I didn't respond he attacked.

Your damage output never becomes OP. It's more that damage reductions turns 99% of enemy attacks down to 1/4th of a Heart.

Never especialy when different color variants of enemies spawn in with smarter ai better weapons and way more hp.

Single biggest disappointing moment in the game. Discovering a
4th kind of Bokoblin, and then having it deal 1/4th of a heart to me.

I'm listening to rips of the soundtrack CD and it feels like it sounds higher quality than what I've heard in game. Gotta verify later.

I need some Lynels guts, where do you guys farm for them?
Actually is there a trick to kill them faster? They usually take some time...
buff with some damage food?
