Isn't this the time of year where a bunch of shows take a hit due to DST screwing with people's schedules
New Girl Is Probably 'Done' After Season 6, Says Jake Johnson

I haven't caught up with this season, but it seems like they're doing cross-branding with SyFy this year? I always see the ads for it after The Expanse. It's up in the air right now, and I haven't heard anything definitive. The first run numbers are down from S1, as are the timeshifted numbers. I assume we'll hear something before this season is over.
I noticed that, too, though I assume they're just trying to market it to people who might be interested. USA doesn't have a ton of content right now (Suits, Mr Robot, Colony, Queen of the South, Falling Water, and Shooter), so I assume they need hang onto most of those. Falling Water looked likely to be cancelled due to low ratings, but they entered a deal with Amazon meaning that it's likely saved. Mr Robot is back this Summer and QotS, Shooter, and Suits have already been renewed, iirc.I haven't caught up with this season, but it seems like they're doing cross-branding with SyFy this year? I wonder if they'll completely move it over to SyFy if it's still around next year.
They should cancel Brooklyn Nine-Nine too.
Still no word on Gotham?
Mr Robot's been moved to the fall...![]()

Yes, I'm aware of this. Typo on my part and not the point of my post which was looking at returning vs cancelled content on USA with a view towards how many dramas they're currently carrying.
S2 started production March 1, 2016 and ended in July. I don't think you'll see S3 before Feb/March.Judd Apatow just said on Twitter they started shooting the third season of Love today! I know it's been renewed, but that's pretty fast. I wonder if it's going to be a year out still, or premiere at the end of the year maybe?

More like give Jonathan E. Steinberg & Robert Levine another project to work on.With Black Sails ending in a few weeks, Starz needs another kickass hype action/adventure show. (I haven't read the novel so I have no idea if American Gods will fill the bill or not)

With Steven S. DeKnight wrapping Pacific Rim 2 soon, I think it's time.
It's time...
to revive Incursion!

That would be the dream. But I think he is gearing up for Transformers.

American Gods is most definitely not an Action/Adventure unless they take some liberties.
Didn't his involvement pretty much begin and end with that writers room for how to expand the Transformers universe? Don't think there's been any public mention of him being involved in anything further. After that gig he moved onto Pacific Rim 2.That would be the dream. I'm still sad that Jake Johnson didn't see more film success. Drinking Buddies is one of my favorites. I hope New Girl ends and he finds something new. That goes double for Lamorne Morris who has been a consistent source of entertainment even as the others became less and less entertaining.
What? He does a whole bunch of indies, including one he wrote and is the lead in coming out next month called Win It All (from the director of Drinking Buddies!). Also supporting roles in blockbusters, he's in The Mummy this year too. My understanding is he doesn't really want to be the lead in huge Hollywood flicks and quite likes sticking to indies and smaller roles.
Everyone is sleeping on Lamorne. Nobody knows how to use his weird energy. It took New Girl like four years to figure him out.
Slightly off topic, but is he going to be in Jurassic World 2 still, or did that fall through?

They should talk with Joe Abercrombie about the First Law trilogy. That would be kick ass.
I would be too excited for that. And then likely infinitely disappointed by the end result.
Yeah, you have to be realistic about these things, I guess.
NCIS won't watch itself!Starting this Sunday there will be 7 1/2 hours of programming airing on Sunday nights that I watch.
Seven and a half hours of television on Sunday nights alone.

I was seriously pissed off when Starz moved their stuff to Sundays and I hate that FX sometimes airs stuff on Sundays now too. Tuesdays and Wednesdays are brutal right now as well. It'll be nice once it's summer and stuff slows down a bit.You read my mind. Sunday viewing is so rough. 'member when Quarry or The Knick was on Friday nights or Black Sails and Outlander was on Saturday? That was nice. Now everything comes on Sunday night within an hour of each other.
I'm curious, do you guys actually "watch" all that TV?
I'm using shows as podcasts for the most part. I don't know if I've really found a show that I must actually "watch" without doing something else in recent years.
Hah, admittedly I probably watch more trash shows than not. Like I don't really need to see what's going on with Crashing or Big Little Lies or Broadchurch to understand what's going on.I watch. I try to avoid getting on my phone as much as possible too. I just type a comment in a post while I watch sometimes and then put my phone back down. And even then, 9/10 I've paused the episode to do that. I'm not good at multitasking with shows. Anytime I try, I get totally lost.
That new 24 revival is an outlier. It's so predictable (for 24 fans) that I get antsy watching it and feel like I should be doing something else. I've gotten on my phone quite a bit with that show, not gonna lie.

(Well, maybe Legion I suppose).
Every single show gets my full attention.
Same here. I either watch a show or I don't.
Ew, didn't he drop out of that though?

The Big Bang Theory Prequel Spinoff Young Sheldon Ordered at CBS - Straight to Series.

Same. Mostly because I was rained this way, either commit to watching it or just don't.Every single show gets my full attention. Sometimes my mind drifts when I'm watching one of the lesser shows (like the CW superhero shows), but even then I'll end up just daydreaming instead of actively diverting my attention to GAF or whatever.

I'm not watching any shows airing on Saturday's and Sunday's at the moment. What shows are these that you are watching? I might get interested too.Starting this Sunday there will be 7 1/2 hours of programming airing on Sunday nights that I watch.
