Game continues to impress me. I didn't even know he sold that armor. Guess it's time to pay him another visit.

He won't
until you beat all of the Divine Beasts. Also the entire set costs a metric ton of monster parts. The Tunic and Pants are 999 Mon each, and the hate is 1999 Mon. You also can't upgrade the set's defenses, although the entire costume has a set bonus

59 guys... That's how many 100% Reviews Breath of the Wild on the Switch has as of now, that's the highest amount of "perfect" scores for any game in Metacritics history :)

I remember some guy to look up GTA IVs 100s in PC/PS3/X360 to reach 58 "perfect" 100% Reviews, guess they were a bit too early. -also if you include the WiiU 100s the number rises even more but I think that is quite dumb, so let's keep it at 59 "perfect" Scores :)

This is part of the conclusion of the 59th 100-score review by the way:

"It is a magical trip to a brave new world for the franchise. There are some issues and possibly a few flaws, but they are not capable of leaving even a smudge on the beautiful face of this masterpiece." -gameover.gr 10.0/10

Latest issue of Dutch magazine Power Unlimited just came out and they gave this 100 percent. They are counted on MC, so it will probably be added later.

Also curious what Games TM will give it.

When you realize you can have a round bomb and a square bomb out at the same time.

Alright, I'm giving up on a sidequest from the Twin Peak stable - the two brothers looking for a treasure.

The hints are about the spring of a river and a dragon by night and so far I've tried everything. Tried to give him both drops from that particular dragon, waited by night for the exakt spot where the dragon would appear by night and look for a treasure chest there, but nothing... am I totally off track? Any hint would be appreciated.

A hint to help you get back on the right track:

To complete the quest you just need to get to the treasure. No other requirements. (So no waiting for a specific time, no needing to find a specific item, etc.) It can be found even without knowledge of this quest, just through normal exploring.

A hint for what you need to look for:

The treasure is hidden. You will need to use a bomb to access it.

Can someone help me understand how the cooking mechanic actually works.

Say for instance i have a Blue Nightshade that boost stealth, what do i need to do to increase the amount of time this boost last for?. Do i need to add more Blue Nightshad to the pot or is it to do with the type of food i mix with this, ie an Apple vs Raw Meat to increase the time.

For example would....

Blue Nightshade x4
Apple x1

give a longer effect time or would......

Blue Nightshade x1
Raw Meat x4

give a longer lasting effect?

There was a point when I was grinding Lynels for their guts that a wolf got in the way. It was running in tandem with me and managed to get hit by all three fireballs from the Lynel. Wish the Wii U had the capability of saving past few moments of gameplay as a video. Managed to see an interesting visual where the Lynel attack animation continues when they are frozen

Adding more food will just up the heart recovery. To increase the time you need to use multiple of the effect item.

I don't understand this challenge given to me by
kass. I'm pretty sure I broke all the rocks blocking the airways but how am I supposed to get myself to glide onto the platform
?

Is the shrine quest where you have to stand
on a platform without and armour and under a blood moon
broken or did I just misunderstand it?

I came across the quest after
a good amount of time had passed since the last blood moon
so I figured
I'd just camp on the spot with a fire and wait it out
, but the
first night
triggered the activation of the Shrine with
no blood moon in sight
. Was it the
fire on the platform
that did it or something else?

I just stripped down and watched tv. After 5 hours I came back and the shrine was in front of me. I don't do the waiting game.

I can't imagine anything a square cube could do that throwing and detonating a round one mid air couldn't accomplish

Well cubes have flat surfaces so you can push or tilt them, but it doesn't have a tendency to roll.

You'll notice the subtile differences.

Is there a guide on where good one handed weapons will spawn? And how often do items spawn again? I already found a good two handed blade. Or at least it seems that way. I haven't tested its durability

Is the only silver lynel in the Hyrule Colesium structure?

No,
enemies in the overworld "upgrade" over the course of the game and now most Lynels are White and Silver for me now. Actually nearly impossible to find Red and Blue ones now. The coliseum might just be the earliest place they appear?

as you kill more and get blood moons, enemies will start carrying soldier - knight - royal broadswords

guardians in combat shrines will have guardian swords, random chests will have broadswords.

man i really hate that they dont have the option to change the voices except changing the system language
I forgot even that was an option. I think I'm gonna make my second playthrough a Japanese playthrough. :)

Edit : Yeah, just keep playing and you'll find better one handed weapons. I prefer those too but didn't have a steady supply till after 40+ hours in.

Oh god! I've been circling a certain spot in the Hebra Mountains for around 30 minutes because of the shrine sensor going wild all the time. I almost gave up, but finally managed to spot the entry of a shrine - the best feeling! :D

Jesus the upgrade path for the Shrine reward is insane. I wanted to max it out before taking on the final boss but I feel like it would add another 10+ hours to my play time and I'm itching to finish the story. ):

Especially since shit like Star Fragments are totally random. Blergh.

When I first started the game I would place a sword stamp where I got a good weapon so I could go back later when I needed one again. Later I realized I was wasting my time because the game constantly throws good weapons at you.

I did my first beast (Vah Ruta). Now I know why people say they are disappointed in them. It only took around 15 minutes once I got inside and the boss was also really easy. I'm assuming the rest are like this?

Hm, okay. Thanks to both of you. Guess I'll start killing more enemies and start taking their better weapons instead of just going to certain points over and over to collect ones I like

What is your strategy for searching for shooting stars?

Climb up to a mountain at night and scan the horizon? Does that even work? (can you see them from far away?)

Also, does anyone know if they interact with blood moons? Like only one per blood moon? Or is it more like one per night?

I'm not totally clear on how this works, but I noticed I saw a rapid increase in the drop rate of good weapons as I started upgrading my hearts / stamina / gear more. I didn't bother upgrading much for my first 40+ hours with the game because I just wanted to explore, but since I've actually been powering up there's good weapons everywhere.

I've played for almost 90 hours and I've yet to see a single one (not that I've been looking, mind you.) Both pieces I have I got from side quests.

That said, standing on top of tall mountains and waiting for them to drop seems tobe the best strategy based on several timelapses I've seen.

I really want to do the Tarrey Town quest but I can't find a Goron with a name that ends in -son, lol. No one tell me where to find them, I'll figure it out eventually.

... I spent like 2 hours in Vah Ruta =/

They are shorter that a traditional dungeon from previous games but since I didn't expect this game to have them I was not bothered.

The other Divine Beasts are a little more complicated too.

Ruta is the easiest, and simplest of them all.

They get better, in my opinion.

Last night I walked along the northern coast from the Akkala Lab to the northwestern corner of the map and ran into something like six Lynels along the way. Awesome for stocking up on parts.

I also hunted everything I came across. I have so much meat now. Any good recommendations for meat-based recipes?

There are enough non-random star fragments to fully upgrade the reward.

1.
Given to you by an NPC near the Outskirt Stable
2.
Get a dog to bring you to a chest by the Snowfield Stable
3.
In a treasure chest south of the path to the Tingel Island chain on the far east of the map.

There's YouTube videos that can give you better directions.

Just completed everything with Kass and the shrines surrounding Rito Village, and wow.

After I finished the last Kass riddle, I checked his old perch at Washa's Bluff again and found the note in the diary indicating he had just returned to Rito Village to rejoin his family. I had also just finished the shrine with the five sisters and the salmon meunière. Now, it was special enough already when I found the five sisters and the accordionist playing and singing the Dragon Roost theme by the Rito Village shrine. But it was also my luck to get there right at sundown—and at the stroke of 9pm, see all the children cheerfully disperse after a joyous evening of music-making.

I'm at 113 shrines and didn't think the game had enough left in it unseen to deliver a moment that would rank among my favourites from the whole experience, but it did.
(And that was before I asked him to play the last song.)
