I think it does matter if they want the show to survive, especially when it's painfully evident that Saban is stuck in the 90s in both marketing and writing of the show.
I was refering to Smile Precure spcificaly but if it does the Numbers Netflix and Saban Agree on then there's not really much anyone can do except grit their teeth and [ABSOLUTLY OBTAIN THE ORGIONALS LEGALY]

I say let Netflix take over if Nick drops them. I can take 10 one hour long episode. It still the same 20 episode restriction but they would have more writing freedom

If the brand does kick the dust. At least as far as TV shows go. It had an amazing run.

Moving to Netflix only solves the scheduling issue (possibly, Saban loves getting two years of shows for one), not the current writing issues.
I think I'd honestly prefer if someone just made a spiritual successor to Power Rangers. It has a lot of baggage currently that restricts it from being anything more than it is( specifically too many hands in the basket, and a reliance on a foreign country's action scenes), if they just made a kid friendly action show with martial arts and giant monsters, I think it could be something special.

However, I do think Power Rangers can be salvaged if the movie somehow became a hit. A revival of the brand thanks to the movie could help motivate people in power to think about fixing some of the big problems with the series.

I just finished Turbo: A Power Rangers Movie. Is Justin also in the tv show or was he a one off? I didn't like Katherine and Tanya. Did Aisha ever come back after the first movie?

He's in there and he's pretty..........ok. But yeah he's in Turbo. Kat and Tanya were pretty OK too, but no Kimberly or Aisha.

We all know how this will turn out, sam finally decides to help the rangers ... original plot twist right there.

Justin's there for the whole season

Aisha never comes back but they get a new cast mid way through excluding Justin

It was actually my first time watching the Turbo movie today, and I loved seeing Kimby and especially Jason who was my favorite Ranger as a kid. That was such a cool moment. I was also surprised to see Tommy, Adam and Rocky in it but it was a pleasant surprise to me. The movie was worse in all ways compared to the original movie but it was still entertaining, mostly for the fan service.

Now only 12 hours till I'll go watch the new Power Rangers movie!

You would get 8-10 episodes per season if it were done all in house. Doing this stuff isn't cheap and it's easier to use foreign footage. What you really need is good writing that can mask that stuff.

Mora's character elements are mostly borrowed from Abaranger, the source material for Dino Thunder. Which also had a little girl as a villain.

I'm good with that number of episodes, although I suppose I'm not the primary audience.
