Not that I've seen. I try talk to everybody alsoDo any NPC gave hints where theshield is?Hylian
When targeting left/right/back + Jump
What does the chest icon next to the shrines names indicate? Is that saying you got all the chests, or that there are still chests hidden?
Make sure you aren't wearing metal armor. That phase was throwing me for a loop until I switched armor.
Yeah, I got to him completely unprepared. Everything I own was metal, only one shield, and no lightning resist. I'm just going to have to come back later...Man. The final form of Thunderblight Gabon is a monster. I think I might have some food that lessens lightning's effect on me though. Just thought of that..
Do the critters and animals disappear so quickly on the Switch version? I feel like there is no point chasing them once they're spooked because they phase out just as i'm about to catch them.
Kakariko villge is pretty as shit. Im kinda mainlining the game (not to be confused as rushing) but I can deffinately see how people get lost out in the world, I already got sidetracked with 2 shrines, a tower, some, a few camps, one in particulr where I kept getting one shot (it wasnt actually a camp in the sense that it gives those chests, it was just...well a camp near a cave with goblins that I had to traverse to get to the tower) just on my way to kakariko.girl that was being attacked by a goblin
There is a lot of "ooh whats that?" syndrome going on with the game. Do you extend your inventory at some point? Ima lways full (weapons wise) :/
Are you on the way to kakariko for the first time?
a character you meet near kakariko helps you with your inventory.
Its still going to be full no matter how many times you upgrade.
im at the village actually, and I. Probably because I was going down the valley, the shrine indicator started chiming so I climbed up a wall to see if it was up there, but it wasnt so then I just glided by way down to the very center of the village >_<found no inventory character
damn you freedom to do whatever!
oh by the way are there any items that are "safe" to sell? Like these screws and shit, do I need thos eventually? Im afraid to sell nything but I got no fucking rupees man.

Cant you just use a wooden shielf to nullify the electric attack the second phase?
It's the little details in the game that interest me. Like I'm wondering: what is the lore behind the diamond circlet?I'm not even sure they the developers thought or cared about this, but it still piques my curiosity. For some reason, it resists guardians, but why? The game is pretty consistent with its lore that only ancient stuff is effective against other ancient stuff. So what's the deal with the diamond circlet? It doesn't have an ancient aesthetic to it. Who built it and why? It just mentions that it uses "the power of light". Is it related to the master sword somehow?
I love this game so much that I would be perfectly content with this being the only Zelda game this generation on the Switch as long as they continue to breath new life into the world with DLC. If ever there was a game that deserved to continue on like that, if only for a while, it is this one.
i'm starting to feel a little disappointed with the enemies. to be fair i'm still quite early in and a couple new enemies have appeared but do i really just wander around killing the same enemies in their little camps again and again? do i just keep doing shrines for more hearts/stamina? i was OK with the weapon degradation at first but i feel it just happens way too quickly. i hardly spend any time with a single weapon before it breaks.
Ive only gotten one seed so far, apparently I missed a bunch already juding from the stuff you need to do to get them (I remember seeing the stuff on my travels >_>)
From the very start of the game there two at the first body of water you see/come across. I missed these as well but they are super easy to get. There are almost 900 of them in game so, yeah, we've all missed a lot of them.
As for the motion control shrines, I found there was a noticeable drift.
for example, theball in chain, I saw one of those, I even grabbed the ball with the magnet and pulled, but had no idea you were supposed to "dunk" it.
part of me thinks its awesome that there is little diretion, but im shit at these type of environmental puzzles so im glad you can just google it.
edit: am I crazy to prefer handheld mode?
Can anyone give a hint to where to find memory #11. Just region it's in would be fine for now, I've got all the others except the one that's I think is in, but I don't even know where to start with this one.Hyrule castle
If you're referring to the memory in the middle row on the right then, yes, you're on the right track. I found it by closely analyzing the map and carefully making my way there, but it goes without saying that it's not exactly an easy memory to get hold of.

Sorry, I meant bottom row, 3rd from left (i.e. 11th from counting from the top row as 1-4, 2nd row as 5-8, 3rd row as 9-12). I thought they were numbered on the screen, but I was mistaken. I have a good idea where that one (7) is, but I want to get the bottom row one before I go looking for the middle one.
Have you guys upgraded a piece of armour to max yet buy unlocking the great earth fairy Tera? Her and Link go all the way
I don't even know how to ask this question without potentially spoiling something, so I'm going to have to tag the whole thing... can someone who has beaten the game / gotten very far / doesn't care about spoilers explain what just happened when I was exploring the world?
I was just wandering around trying to get a few more Sheikah Towers when I spotted a gold light shooting into the air from a distance. It wasn't quite the same as the pillar of light you get when you tag something through your telescope. I floated my way to this light beam and it was coming from a giant boulder in what appeared to be some sort of ruins or ancient quarry. As soon as I got near the light beam it went away without anything happening, and then never came back.

Ok yeah, I just looked at a picture and that's what it was. But I had no idea and so I didn't actually find the star fragment, argh!Probably a shooting star. And you were heading towards a star fragment. They land during the night, but will disappear at 5:00am, which is a genuine pain in the ass.

I'm almost positive you're mistaken. In the 120+ hours I've played the game, there are 2 (3) variations of the statues that you place fruit offerings in for Korok seeds. I don't believe they ever changed.
I'm sure people will remember this spot in Kakariko having the older statues before.
Image linked, maybe some spoilers if you haven't reached Kakariko yet. Had to snapshot it from OBS.

Weird. Those statues do exist in the game.
