Why does she keep rambling on about unity? It's clear brexit divided everyone and Scotland wants out so what's so unified about that.
Aside from some rhetoric around things like that, it is one fundamental reason to pay attention to ripple effects. We're now essentially going to be under a Tory reign which won't be accountable to anyone. Especially not if Labour keeps getting beaten at ease.
May says:
Perhaps now more than ever the world needs the liberal, democratic values of Europe - values that the UK shares.
What the fuck am I reading, this is delusional, insane, I can't even..
No way she said that.May says:

Like a lot of Brexit arguments, it is lie, lie until *hopefully* it becomes true.
Even I won't go quite that far until campaigning starts up here, polls start to get more varied rather than the same ones dug up, and eventually a vote. Then we'll really know what Scotland wants.
The clearest thing to say right now is the party the people elected want out.
so what leverage does the UK have now in getting a suitable trade deal with the EU?
May says she wants to continue to trade with the EU.
In an increasingly unstable world, we must have the closest possible security cooperation to keep our people safe.

Gotta love this bs of the "truly global Britain" that she has been talking about...
What the hell does that even mean?
Hell. what does this even mean?
When I sit around the negotiating table in the months ahead, I will represent every person in the whole United Kingdom young and old, rich and poor, city, town, country and all the villages and hamlets in between.
And yes, those EU nationals who have made this country their home.It is my fierce determination to get the right deal for every single person in this country.
For, as we face the opportunities ahead of us on this momentous journey, our shared values, interests and ambitions can - and must - bring us together.
We all want to see a Britain that is stronger than it is today. We all want a country that is fairer so that everyone has the chance to succeed.
We all want a nation that is safe and secure for our children and grandchildren.
We all want to live in a truly Global Britain that gets out and builds relationships with old friends and new allies around the world.
These are the ambitions of this Governments Plan for Britain. Ambitions that unite us, so that we are no longer defined by the vote we cast, but by our determination to make a success of the result.
We are one great union of people and nations with a proud history and a bright future.
And, now that the decision has been made to leave the EU, it is time to come together.
I hate they idea that people in a country needs to 'come together' such an authoritarian sounding phrase. Suits May
We both know once the deal talks start and begin and May starts floundering this year, in conjunction to early Scottish campaigning, then we'll be looking at a Scotland that hasn't been more unified than since the Second World War, they'll simply be unified against her.
You're missing the point. She's saying people need to stop being divided and unite to make this work. Whether you voted leave or stay, this is happening and whining about it and causing further division isn't going to achieve anything. She's right.

In an indication of the increasingly tough line being taken by MEPs, Manfred Weber, the German leader of largest centre-right bloc in the European Parliament, said: "EU has done everything to keep the British. From now on, only the interests of the remaining 440 million Europeans count for us.
May sounding positively pro European.
