I already canceled my preorder after the casino level gameplay. 💁
I'm also playing it and Id agree with your comment.
Uhhh...I'm not sure I understand those performance comments. That's all I will say.
Wonder which version they are playing?
Well, Im also playing it, and lets say Im surprised about their tone
not what they reported. It's mainly the performance people are worried about. Unity on console is not reliable.
Can you talk about performance?
In this case though, if no one preordered there wouldn't be a game to get angry at people for preordering.
It's a DKC throwbackI'm still confused by the random minecart section.

You are nuts if you are getting this game day 1 with everything that is out right now.
Switch version is going to be awful isn't it
Sucks as I was hyped for this game a while back, but everything I've seen since slowly but surely eroded that. Really doesn't quite feel like a 64 era 3D platformer.

More people should see this-those who got the X1 version.I just saw the GameXplain Q&A and they said the XB1 version was 30fps with frequent stuttering so that maybe what they're referencing here. PC version seems to be fine though.
Not to sound selfish, but I hope they aren't talking about the PC version. At least then there'd be one version that runs well.
I'm still cautiously optimistic.
They are just going for that authentic N64 experience!

So it runs like an N64 game?
"Jim Sterling doesn't like game"..... Wait is that something new? Jim didn't like a game??!? NO WAY, IF JIM DIDN'T LIKE GAME, IT MUST SUCK!!?!?
And that is why we have embargos.
Now we have 2 people saying 1 thing and no one can support or contradict that.
Not very fair I think.
Sterling is not an opinion I would defer to for a game like this, but hearing Laura echo it is a bit disconcerting. I've been excited for this for years, backed it on Kickstarter. I'm gonna buy it if only to support my all time favorite genre. But I'll be honest, I'll be disappointed if it's weak.
I've heard the game is one of the best platformers of the year but the platforming sucks.
Yeah, I don't get this either. Is there some sort of incentive? Why do devs keep using fucking Unity? Isn't Unreal 4 cheap now anyway? And superior in pretty much every way imaginable at that?
Jim has been hitting off the mark lately for me, not worried at all.
