Limited Run Games - Putting digital games into your hands

I received my PS4 DBCS LE from Play Asia today in perfect condition. It was shipped in a box that was just large enough to fit the game with bubble wrap around it. They inserted a handful of Styrofoam peanuts to fill a small remaining void at one end so that it didn't bounce around.

I'd love if LRG would take this much care when they ship the upcoming edition.
 
Quick question: If I want more than one game, what's the best way to go about it? Buy each game separately or add both to cart and hope they don't run out? If I buy separately, is there any way to get shipping combined and partially refunded?

Open two tabs on your browser, one for each game. When it's time, reload one, add it to the cart, reload the other one, add it to the cart and checkout.
 
Yeah, I think I might slip tomorrow. I kinda wanted Astrebreed, but I have it on Steam and I should cut back on my spending.

Is April 14th the next Vita release? I have the code for the cards that were supposed to be with the Oddworld release, but they say they expire on the 14th. So does that include the 14th or is 13th the last day? It's really annoying that if I want to get these cards that were supposed to come with the game I have to pay for shipping, or get it with one of my next orders, but the expiry date and the fact that not every LRG release interests me poses a problem.
 
I was checking in this thread to see if I was missing something with these games because I'm not feeling any of them. Glad I'm not alone in that. I don't know if $80 is worth keeping the collection complete for these.
 
Doesn't seem to be much interest in any of the current titles, maybe with the exception of Astebreed, but with 5k copies available i'm not sure that it's worth picking up for me.
 
All 3 regular versions for me. Didn't really plan on spending $118 AUD on games this week.. but damn I wanted the Japanese releases heh
 
Astebreed only for me as well. Having broke the full collection on Runner2, I don´t feel bad at all for passing on Pang and Hikae.

Pang looks fun, but I probably won´t touch it unless I find to someone to play with me. Hikae doesn´t look bad, it just seems too repetitive and short to spend 25 bucks on.
 
OH what the hell, I added to cart as soon as the timer hit zero, and the bundle sold out between then and filling out my payment information.

Is the bundle also split into two batches, or was that it?
 
Astebreed only for me and I also finally got my Oddworld playing cards. They disappeared from my cart last time I tried but this time it worked. Looking forward to getting this order.
 
Got Astebreed, which is the only one I wanted. Really glad that worked out, cuz it's an awesome game, and the PS4 version is by far the best one. So glad that's getting a physical release.
 
Got Astebreed and Pang! Didn't have much interest in Mitsurugi. These are the first Limited Run games I've gotten since the Shantae day. Good to be back!

I'm happy it finally got a physical release, had a blast playing it on PC and the music is 🔥

Looking forward to getting my copy.
 
Never purchased from Limited Run before, but I've picked myself up a copy of Astebreed just because I really loved my time with it when it first released digitally.

I'm glad I managed to get one, though I'm not too into the system that's set up here of needing to be present within the first 5 minutes of availability to get a copy, even if I understand why it's necessary.

Only other announced game that I'm interested in now is Dariusburst so at least I won't have to jump through hoops too many times in the foreseeable future.
 
Had lots of problems checking out today because of the holding shippment adress, almost made me not buy the games, I've had to put the other adress which charges for taxes and hope they refund that because the adress they gave was not correct.

Most of the games they sell at times could have been gotten on Steam for like $1 etc or free in bundles or sales etc lol

They playing you all with the "buh it's limited so that's why you gotta pay us that much". Ripoff really

Do you know the costs of what goes into producing a physical item?

Not how it works.

The developers make back higher margins on games that may indeed already have been discounted to $1, and they make their own margins in releasing physical games that have not been released before.

You don't "gotta pay that much" because it's limited, but because it's physical.

Got the two I wanted (my first time ordering more than one game from LRG). The process could not have been any easier. Very excited!
