It's been proven scientifically that the class scale in terms of best class goes something like:
Hunter >>>>>>>> Titan >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Warlock
It's a fact.
Hmmm, never seen a Titan solo a raid.
J/k

In this day and age, CGI is losing popularity over an actual in engine trailer with real game models or even gameplay. CGI can be a supplement later, but it's lame as fuck as a sole reveal and so uninteresting since all the great looking games these days have shown how much more dazzling it is to capture in engine. I don't care what your CGI outsource budget got you. I wanted to see what your actual models and worlds are gonna be like. Sorry but EA and Sony are much cooler for using their own engines to make their reveals. That is what shows that a gorgeous, well imagined game visual experience will be in the product. CGI said near nothing about what's actual going in the product and that's so tired in 2017.It's not like the game is coming out tomorrow, we already got a date for the gameplay reveal, it's definitely going to be at E3 and gamescom. Unless you pre-ordered digitally you can cancel anytime, I don't see the problem here, Activision/Bungie aren't the first to reveal a game using a cgi trailer...

Attempted to do a re-edit with Zavala only that had cleaned up video and audio transitions

I love Cayde's personality, but it is really epic to just see the Zavala speech on its own
I think his speech should help ease some people. I hope Ikora gets more shine as well

No going to orbit after each activity, minimal loading screens. Come on Bungie! I want all of Destiny 2 to be as seamless as possible. Pre-release marketing for Destiny 1 made that promise and the final game really failed to deliver.
I CAN'T BELIEVE WHAT I'M SEEINGYeah Ikora definitely needs some screentime. A Shaxx speech would be awesome as well

- A player ship is attacking what appears to be a Cabal Red Guard ship which could hint at Halo Reach style ship battles
It's hard to do it again when they didn't even do it the first time. But as far as nonsense conspiracies go, at least you're not a 9/11 truther. You're not, right?Again 2 "expansions" taken out from the game for limited edition and the main game is being cut into pieces with limited content
Yeah, I really wanted that, too. But they barely got out what they did with the delay and rewrite. Another way of looking at it is that we got 3D ships and skyboxes added to our lobby, loading, and matchmaking screens. When Destiny was first revealed, I was hoping for Halo Reach-style ship battles! Instead we got ships that serve as loading screens...
Gary*But... this CGI trailer actually tells us quite a bit about the product.
- Guardians have lost their Light and their Ghosts, which could mean permadeath for characters
- The Tower is destroyed and the vaults along with it, meaning your gear won't carry over
- The Red Guard of Cabal are the main threat, Ghaul being their leader.
- There's a new Cabal enemy, the first animal-like enemy design ever in the game
- Hunters, Warlocks and Titans return
- Shaxx, Xur, Ikora, Zavala and Cayde-6 return
- No sign of the Speaker, Cryptarch, Amanda Holliday and the faction leaders
- Suros and Omolon weapon manufacturers return along with some armor from the first game
- The Cabal have varying size shields and weapons, making them much more interesting and menacing than in Destiny 1
- A player ship is attacking what appears to be a Cabal Red Guard ship which could hint at Halo Reach style ship battles
- There will be loot. Lots of it
Whoa, Xur's in the trailer? Time?- Shaxx, Xur, Ikora, Zavala and Cayde-6 return

He's not in the trailer, but it's a safe bet to assume he'll show up wherever the new social space ends up being.Whoa, Xur's in the trailer? Time?
Also, I would not hold my breath for spaceship combat.
Wait where was this confirmed? Or is just speculation? If they lost their light wouldn't that mean all abilities are technically gone as well.
Correct. We're stripped of our powers and have to seek out new ones. It's an in-universe explanation for starting off at Level 0, with crap gear and junk weapons.Wait where was this confirmed? Humanity's last safe city has fallen to an overwhelming invasion force, led by Ghaul, the imposing commander of the brutal Red Legion. He has stripped the city's Guardians of their power, and forced the survivors to flee. You will venture to mysterious, unexplored worlds of our solar system to discover an arsenal of weapons and devastating new combat abilities. To defeat the Red Legion and confront Ghaul, you must reunite humanity's scattered heroes, stand together, and fight back to reclaim our home.
And also resistant to certain elements. I bet that shield in the trailer either resists/negates solar damage or is weaker against it.I think that the orange energy shield we see the cabal wielding will be a replacement of the current big sheilds that many cabal enemies wield. In D1 those enemies often aren't fun to fight and I think Bungie's answer to this is creating an energy shield that can withstand a certain amount of shots before it is rendered useless.
This way it gives cabal a big shield but also gives players a more enjoyable time facing them.
All speculation but makes sense to me

There's also smaller shields for the Cabal now not just the energy shields.I think that the orange energy shield we see the cabal wielding will be a replacement of the current big sheilds that many cabal enemies wield. its stupid speculation trying to justify a cgi trailer
Maybe they'll change it up and go with perk trees based on point allocation instead of progressive unlocks just from xp gain.Ah ok thanks for the replies guys!
It'll be interesting to see how powers are gained/set up in this game. Or if it'll just be "You found a new subclass, just level it up to use all of it's abilities."

I don't think so, because as you see, there's one enemy with a smaller shield and then there's the bigger orange shield.
tldr: lots of shields.![]()
I can't find it now but i'm sure someone took a screenshot of the trailer and you can see xur and the crucible guy in the background of Zavala's speech
One of the Raid bosses will just be a giant shieldSorry, I think what I was trying to get across was there won't be only one size for Cabal, and the energy shields will have the downside of being breakable, whereas the smaller shields can act as they currently do in game.
In reality, I just hate fighting cabal and their big shields. Just feels un-fun to me in its current iteration.
One of the Raid bosses will just be a giant shield
Ehhhh. Maybe this one?

White on chest and shoulders + not enough black tentacles in face area
Edit: When I was screencapping trailer I kept eye out for Xur. Didn't see anyone like him
🤐Someone on the Destiny OT made a joke once about fighting a giant Shank.
Low and behold a year later we fought a giant Shank
And The StrangerI would guess that the remaining guardians turn to The Nine for assistance.
And The Stranger
And Jesus.
