What's with the hyperbole?
You could just play it on PS3, 360 or on PC if that ends up happening. Why wait for a PS4 version when you can simply enjoy it right now?
When exactly was Bayonetta not possible on PC ?

I'm hoping for $20 with a nice launch discount like Valkyria Chronicles (and Revengeance, if I'm not mistaken?). $30 would still be a day one, but anything more and I'd... well, I'd still buy it but I'd complain about it in the OT

Came with all of the DLC and a boss select, too. It was cool.
These arguments always make me laugh. The amount of ways some people have to derive to put down anything happening on a platform they can't bear to see get games. The whole attitude, regardless of which platform, is pathetic. Just enjoy the fucking games, damn.
how? the link was found in a steam achievement on a game that was ONLY released on PC, the 8bit bayonetta. I really dont see how it could be anything else but bayonetta for pc.

I agree that it's probably PC only but I think there's a slim chance that it's multi platform and the reason the tease only appeared on Steam is because that required the least effort.
The news of the tease spread beyond Steam users immediately, anyway.

Revengeance came out on PC like a 1 1/2 years later. I think Valkyrie Chronicles PC came out like 6 years later for $19.99, so if that's anything to go off a PC port of a 7 year old PS360 game may fall moreso in line with that price.

SEGA going to all this trouble for a Steam port. Maybe it's a remaster for PC and XBox One and PS4 or maybe Bayonetta III for Project Scorpio and PS4 Pro lol
What 'trouble' are they going through?
Releasing an old mobile game on Steam and hiding a date in it? Hardly takes much effort.

Making a play on 8bit game too, not what SEGA tends to do for a Steam port for a game that came out in 2009, but then its SEGA I'm used to be letdown BIG style.
Really? This seems to be much less trouble and less expensive then starting a proper marketing campaign, while generating a lot of buzz all the same.

Sometimes they don't make good ports like Bayo 1 for ps3.
PG didn't port Bayo 1 for PS3, I mean, I guess it's possible that they won't for the PC release too, but Sega has a pretty good track record with their PC ports (outside of that viking game which was locked at 30fps)

Yes it would be reasonable for Nintendo not to be involved considering how Bayo2 and W101 sold.

I do have it on PS3 and I'd get the PS4 for sure. If it doesn't come to PS4, that's fine by me.
I don't give a crap about the PC version because I don't game on PC.

Yeah I was actually wondering about the Kilgore glitch the other day. Imo it should be fixed because it really does break the game and doesn't really add much except being a temptation to go "fuck it, I've had enough" when you get stuck on the end game content. I never did cave (nor did I ever beat Angel Slayer or Rodin) but yeah, it just feels cheap and breaks an otherwise perfect game.

That would be really shit. Full Kilgore on arms and legs is a pretty fun way to play the game, especially on higher difficulties.
I wont care if they leave the glitch in. If that's how people want to play the game, that's fine with me. They should just be aware that they're cheating themselves out of half the fun Bayonetta's combat offers.
Besides, I wouldn't want to risk breaking or any other knock-on effects fixing the glitch could have on the combat.
