Sega and Atlus are the same thing now, right? Could this mean Atlus titles are coming to PC at some point, too? I'm on the verge of buying a PS4 just for Persona 5. Should I hold off? I'm alright with waiting for a year or two.

ATLUS is still making decisions like that mostly independently from SEGA

Sega has owned Atlus since 2013. Anything's possible but if they were going to push Atlus towards releasing on PC then it likely would've happened by now. I wouldn't hold my breath if I were you, especially given how stubborn and behind the times the people in charge at Atlus JPN seem to be.

The only problem there is that Sega Europe handles all PC releases and doesn't have anything to do with the Sega or Atlus games published by Deep Silver.

Only in Japan now, they merged American subsidiaries a while ago.

What the fuck, why are you so aggressive?

I just said it will also be nice if it's in the PS4. I won't buy the PC version but if it comes out there, it'll be great too.

Why are some PC people aggressive as fuck?

Because every thread about a game coming out on PC on this forum is *full* of people shitposting about a possible console version.

It's really really tired.

Frankly, the opposite is also frequent (a game coming out on console on this forum is *full* of people shitposting about a possible PC version).

imma outta this thread.

How are you liking all those Yakuza games on PC?

Sure; there are always bad behavior in all camps, but that doesn't make it ok to shitpost however you like.

I mean, how often do you see people entering a thread for, say, Persona 5 or Halo with "I couldn't care less about this game being on PS4/X1 you guys. I only care about my platform of choice".

What can you possibly respond to that, or what is it supposed to add to the conversation?

edit: maybe shitpost is the wrong term here, since I don't think your intentions were malicious, but rather a careless choice of words

Only if Atlus JP or Sega JP management changes or a miracle happens.
But if you don't mind waiting and don't want a PS4 for anything else you could always wait for the PS3 emulator and just buy the PS3 game and play that on PC.
Given the current speed that one's progressing, playing Persona in a year or two seems realistic.

They're almost as good as the Persona series on PC!

:(

If I can get Bayonetta 1 (and, maybe?) 2 on PC with solid 60 FPS and Resolution support then hoo boy I am SO IN.

If the framerate is unlocked and I can play Bayonetta at 144 FPS I will lose my shit.

I hope it's $20/30 for both games.

Fun fact: you can Kilgore glitch on your hands by spamming the weapon swap button.

TBH I'd be okay with them not fixing it. It's hilarious and absurd and semi-iconic, and if players find that spamming it over and over makes the game more fun for them then who am I to judge? All of the game's challenges are fair without the glitch, skill is still required for the harder challenges even with the glitch, and the whole thing feels cheap enough that I imagine that most hardcore/dedicated players won't abuse it anyway.

the best thing about Bayonetta is that its hardcore fanbase produces style videos with excellent and extremely gay '90s vocal house soundtracks whereas - even if I prefer DMC's combat system by a hair - the DMC fanbase insists on actually unironically being into the very bad nu-metal music

Would be cool if it was a version with new content ala Dark Souls prepare to die edition. I still have yet to play any of the games in this series but will buy it on steam.

Bayonetta bosses are kinda weak so an additional boss rush mode wouldn't really be too exciting. I'd love a bloody palace equivalent though

edit: whoops just remembered Angel Slayer

Lmao, you are so correct. I find the music in DMC completely hilarious and I love it in-game, especially DMC1 - but the combo videos just fall on the wrong side of "so bad its good".

Man if I can get this in 1440p / 144fps I will die of happiness.

Please temper your expectations. And mine.

I liked it so much ironically that it's an unironic love now.

I just hope enough of us support the shit out of this game on Steam (and whatever else it comes to) so that perhaps a new Bayonetta game for all systems will be made.
