Because (just like me) he may happy about hearing of a PC version, if only for the chance of getting it on PS4 soonish? Same happened with Valkyria Chronicles recently, remember, so it's not like we're madmen.

Hope for a nice price so I can finish game again with her full glory and without fps drops! Also Bayonetta 2 version of her as a mod would be so cool, I think that's highly possible.
why would they tease bayonetta 2 for the switch in a free to play steam game? lol might as well hope for bayonetta 3 on the ps4 at that point

I am interested in what this announcement is actually going to be. I probably won't be buying Bayo again because I had my fill of it on Wii U, but if anything else came along with it (Like Vanguish, that had Bayonetta as a character, right?), I would be all over that shit.
And a random opinion: Bayo 2 had lots of improvements to the combat, and better graphics/art direction, but I think Bayo 1 is the stronger experience. It had a much more consistent, stylish direction and tone than the second, the cutscenes and dialog were more on-point, there weren't as many "walk real slowly while you can't move" bits that annoyed me in 2, and the last boss in 2 was just lame as heck.

What port begging? Just stated a fact. Sega published VC on PC and then the remaster for PS4. Im happy to see this one on PC since I think its pretty clear its gonna be the case again. That it.
As for vitriol, see quoted post. People got told to leave the thread for not being PC players. Usual "master race" behaviour, usual vitriol. If theres anything racists its that kind of attitude, but I see this fly all the time, so I guess I Just have to deal with it.
I really hope for Bayo in pc, but please bring Vanquish, the game deserves a second shot

i think something for steam is a given. the hope would be that they would use the opportunity to announce more stuff about bayonetta in general as for example bayonetta 3 for switch

Still no release date. I imagine they'll announce it alongside the heavily-rumoured Smash Switch port, so probably E3?
There is a lot of evidence to suggest it's still coming. Most likely along side a Switch port of SSB4 (though that's still very much a rumour).

Didn't release yet, but Fire Emblem Echoes which was dataminers recently has data for Corrin amiibo (in 2 versions in fact), which is one of the other smash amiibos we are still waiting for. Since corrin is still coming, Bayonetta and Cloud are likely coming at the same time.

I believe it's Sega for 1, probably Nintendo has owner ship of some parts of 2, but Sega has enough ownership to still be in 2s credits? Not sure how that sort of thing actually works.
Sega owns the IP and original game, and co-owns 2 with Nintendo.
Completely owned by SEGA.
