Gran Turismo Sport Beta Thread

With what car? A little setup tinkering goes a long way. ;)

After those two races, got on a race with some really fast dudes. Still came on 4th, but yeah, their cars were heavily tuned.

The Maxi will be fine, though its clearly slower than a cart horse...
 
Since I didn't get an invite to the EU beta, is there any chance someone could provide a code?

Nope, with the last patch they closed the Arcade mode with the purpose of stress testing the servers by having all invited players not able to play anything else in the game than those online races. You should be able to do qualifying for them some time before they start.
 
I got my code today . Watching the replay videos on ps4 pro with my 65zoll sony 4K hdr tv and it's just awesome.

Can't wait to play it tomorrow.

Do we know how long the beta will run?
 
Are codes locked to accounts or not?

I gather that any code will allow you to download the beta, but will you actually be able to play when the EU servers go live?

Also, have any Australians received a code yet?
 
I think me buying GT6 and never opening it to play it has come back to bite me in the arse.

This hurts more than it would have if I just never bought the game in the first place.

I put over 100 hours into GT5 and bought 2 wheels for that game... And this is how they repay me?

It's in flux. Early in phase 1 my Oz account couldn't access the US beta, however in the past 24 hours I could (tho no events were available.) Booting it up now with my Oz account (that wasn't invited) it now blocks me again.

Cannot log in using this Online ID since it is not registered as a participant.

Hope they sort things out soon for all involved.

Much better than past GT games. The AMG SLS is the best sounding V8 at the moment - lots of little crackles and pops on the overrun.

Not sure if that matters. I never bought GT6, but got my code almost instantly (EU).
 
Judging by the menus on a Pro, I think that we are not getting supersampling when using 1080p display [I have 32" 1080p TV] that I use as a PC and PS4 monitor.

They have really captured the feel of a low level race day at Brans Hatch in that. One of the things GT has always done better then other racing games is capture the tone and atmosphere of the sport as a whole. Would be great if they could get it to feel like BSB races though as they are always rammed.

YES, they're onto ALL of US!!!

The sportsmanship rating will recondition us.
PSVR mode is re-wiring our brains, it's in the flicker! It was always in the flicker(!!), in 5 and 6 our brains still found it repulsive, but now it's next-gen!!
