And watch the SNP landslide north of the border again get ignored and Indiref denied for longer.
If you live outside England you may as well not vote in a general election.

Didn't the Tories make significant gains from the Lib Dem collapse at the last election? Are they really going to be able to challenge Labour enough to counteract the very real potential of losing quite a few seats back to the Lib Dems, particularly in remain constituencies? I guess I'm probably completely misjudging it!
This isn't really true, though. There's close to no difference between what Corbyn is proposing and what Ed Miliband proposed, but Ed still did (somewhat) better than Corbyn.
Of course public sentiment will shift based on how EU negotiations are going. It's patently obvious to everyone involved that EU negotiations will be shit, that every other trade partner we negotiate with will have us over a barrel, and that the negotiations are being run by cretins. An early election while the polls are still in their favour is the obvious best move for a morally bankrupt party intent on dragging us into a political situation that's disastrous for everyone except for their donors.
Will remainers vote for LibDems in their droves? Will be interesting.
Heard the same thing 7 years ago. The NHS is going nowhere.
I dare hope for sanity and halt of Brexit
Anyone thinking of voting Labour/Corbyn needs to remember that Corbyn wants a Hard Brexit just as badly as Theresa May, if not moreso.
A vote for Labour is just as much a vote for a Hard Brexit as a vote for the Conservatives.
If an opposition party ever wants to save any sort of face whatsoever, they absolutely cannot say no to a general election when offered.

The in fighting started the moment the leader of labour was who the voters wanted and not who labour wanted.
They've been a bunch of whining pricks from day one.
Corbyn isn't the best, but that's all the more reason for them to show solidarity instead of the fucking shit stirring bollocks that's been going on for how long now.
It's not a case of the opposition being incompetent so much as a massive hatchet job in the media on the basis that the Labour party have somehow managed to choose a leader who stands for actual Labour values rather than being a Thatcherite. A lot of people who are anti-Corbyn would actually be very much in favour of a lot of his policies - policies which you'd never have had from Labour with another leader.

So, I don't understand. Are elections good or bad news?

Well it looks like for me that voting SNP is the only sane choice I have.
So, how long do we give the NHS? 18 months?
Liberal Democrats. A vote for Labour is a vote for Brexit. That leaves the Liberal Democrats as the only English opposition party.
Hope not. Some will have forgiven Clegg for fucking over students and reneging on his pledges. I haven't and I hope many others haven't too. Farron is another Clegg.I can see lots of Lib Dem gains this time around, especially from the west country Conservative gains in 2015 and Pro EU Labour in the Cities.
Dont think the Conservatives are going to top 400, but then again we are talking Corbyn..
Think the most interesting aspect will be the north
But I thought the fixed terms parliament act blocked this?
That's not clear yet. If the Lib Dems win they'd almost certainly make their first order of business to contact the EU and attempt to immediately withdraw Article 50. There is nothing to outright say this cannot be done and I suspect that the EU would go along with it because it'd be by far the easiest option for them as well.Brexit is happening regardless, as shit as it is.
Best we can hope for is a party elected that doesn't want to absolutely bumfuck the working classes to make the rich richer for the foreseeable future. Not going to happen though.
The Lib Dems DO oppose Brexit, publically and vocally so.I wish Lib Dems would have the balls to oppose any form of Brexit. The only party that can do that.

If enough people do it, even if it's not enough to TRULY make a difference, and it gets noticed it's not a wasted vote. Right now I'll take any opportunity to let the government know that the country is pretty fucking divided on this issue. The funny thing is that remainers have nobody to vote for.....
Conservatives? Fuck no.
Labour? Corbyn has never showed passion for remaining in the EU.
Lib Dems? Wasted vote.
It's crazy.
Quick note: Anyone who tells you Brexit can be undone is lying to you, Article 50 has been triggered, the UK will leave the EU. If we wanted back in we'd have to renegotiate that entry which would mean an even worse deal than we already have (no pound, no rebate, no immigration limitations). I think the Lib Dems will get ripped to shreds if they try and claim they can somehow keep us in the EU.

Labour need to either put up or shut up. There is an election on. Either get behind the train now or remove Corbyn. You can't afford any divisions now. The Conservatives have a big lead and May is setting herself up as one of the people. Labour need to point out how much the Conservatives have screwed up.
Labour could win this if they play it right. No chance if there are still fighting each other.
