Maybe they destroy each other and validate the Grand Priest is evil theory as he establishes him self as the new king

That sneaky bastard! Though I hope they aren't just teasing with the Grand Priest. I do hope is he legit evil and becomes an enemy at some point. That face is just too perfect to NOT be evil :P

The OP gave far too many things to be considered "random" at this point.

So I think it's gonna be this.

Present Zeno side = U1 U9 U6 U7 + all kaioshins

versus

Future Zeno side = Every god of destruction and their respective universe

Personally, I feel like U7 is gonna lose, but Goku is gonna ask Zeno not to be erased. Present Zeno will agree, and that will cause the break out.

The question is what format this will take. If Beerus has to fight too that'd be sick.

Do you mean every other god of destruction and their universes? Because otherwise that makes no sense.

Herms is doubling down saying that the scan says that the two saiyans are the same person. I'm confused because everyone else says that it's vague and doesn't specify.

There's the theory that the two Zenos disagree on something and then it starts a civil war of sorts.

Zeno v Zeno? Whelp, so much for the Multiverse lol

Maybe they destroy each other and validate the Grand Priest is evil theory as he establishes him self as the new king

I like this idea. 😀 Universal war arc please and thanks.

holy shit thats why everyone is ssb level all of a sudden it makes too much sense

I do wonder if, going by the intro, Goku's new power up is: surprise! No form! Much like Ultimate Gohan.
Given how stale SSJ Blue/God was, it'd make some sense if Toriyama would go a step further and make it even more boring.

x100 kamehameha, needs to keep krillin in check.

Personally, I feel that's more his opinion at this point. The article doesn't specify if they're the same person or not.

Well someone tweeted saying that they read it as "There's also a new Saiyan in the opening!" and he replied saying that it says the new Saiyan already appeared in the opening, so he's putting it out there that the "proper" translation is that they are the same and not mentioning that it's not specific. He's usually a good source for translations, so I find it weird that he's the only one saying that the scan says that it is the same Saiyan.

Eh. I stand by what I said. I saw a couple other translations that agreed the wording was vague too so...

And that fact that all of the other translations are in line with yours makes me really confused because that makes Herms' translation the outlier, usually he would point out if something isn't specific so it's weird to me that he's not.

Civil War Zeno would be neat.

Be interesting if the present Zeno lost, assuming they both don't die. Because then it is undeniably Goku's fault.

If it is in fact the same character, that's fine but there's a lot of evidence that would suggest otherwise. Toei's been pretty respectful of Toriyama's designs so far.

In his defense, his universe would of been destroyed if he wasn't such an idiot.

But did this idea to destroy the universes with the lowest mortal rankings come from just the original Zeno, or both Zeno's?
This can still come back to Goku's fault for gracing the world with 2 Zeno's.

It seems it always on the back of Zeno's mind but he considering future trunks it wouldn't have happened anytime soon and since zeno is a kid he would have probably forgot about it.

Huh? There's confusion about whether the Saiyan in V Jump and the opening are the same person?

Damn, well, It looks like the same person to me, just with a different hairstyle.

I'm surprised to see people complaining about Power Levels and characters jumping massive amounts over very little time when that's been Supers thing since the start!

Yeah, SSB is looking weak now, but it's been shown to be "common" since U6 arc when Goku busted out the KKSSBx10 from nowhere. AT least in the downtime episodes it showed that doing that has a drawback, but now? WHATEVER NO DRAWBACK! Pull that KKSSB out whenever you feel like it Goku!

It's also the same show where Trunks went from SS2 to being stronger/on par with SSB because:

AND in the same arc where we saw Black go from getting beaten by SS3, to, whatever the fuck level he became just by LOOKING at Goku.

SAME arc where Vegeta also went from SSB, to, ...stronger SSB that can now kick SSR Black's ass because he spent half a day in the time chamber.

So for Andoroid 17 to be on par with SSB Goku after over 10 years of training and retaining his limitless energy, hell, I'll accept it, it's at least somewhat reasonable.

Again, this is the same arc where Krillin can keep up with a beam struggle against SSB Goku just because his new form of just being calm.

For the show to bring back this kind of cast ensemble they're going to quickly give everyone some form of a boost to show that they can at LEAST keep up with SSB Goku. Would we prefer they wrote in a little more detail, yeah sure, but it's something. Everyone is most likely going to job anyway and Goku will win it because it's Dragon Ball.

The side effects were because he went x10, now he just uses regular.

Like how Goku went from getting shit stomped by Freeza to shit stomping him because of his emotions?

Black never fought SSJ3, and the only blows Goku landed on him in that first fight were went he was distracted. Black also got stronger from pain being inflicted on him.

SAME arc where Vegeta also went from SSB, to, ...stronger SSB that can now kick SSR Black's ass because he spent half a day in the time chamber.
I mean he was able to surprise Black in their first fight with his power, he was just blind sided by a blade.

I don't think there is any reason to think Goku was putting anywhere near the actual power of Blue into that Kamehameha.

Thinking about it, I would have liked Hybrid Sinner Super Saiyan God if Future Trunks had gone crazy, like if he lost himself and it wasn't something he recovered from mentally.

I still like Hybrid god saiyan super deluxe, but I would have liked some type of consequence to have that power, and maybe that could have been him losing his mind, which it looks like that might happen in the first episode, but it's quickly lost.

That's pretty much every character Toriyama has ever drawn.

I've been digging through the interviews recently, and I swear there's one where Toriyama says that Goku's face turns into Vegeta's whenever he goes Super Saiyan.

There's another one where he says he gave Arale glasses because all his women have the same face.

God damn it, beat me to it.

Did that happen? Wasn't the point there that Krillin had no hope of beating Super Saiyan Blue, that Goku and Krillin both knew it, and that the realization was that he didn't really have to because he'd have support? The way I understood it, Krillin was not "keeping up" the beam struggle, he just lasted long enough to stress 18 out.

You all need to let that Krillin Kamehameha go. It was to test Krillin to see if he would back out of the fight. Goku can't have someone in the fight who is going to get scared when the enemies power is overwhelming. He probably didn't put much power into the Kamehameha, and the Kamehameha struggle was one sided anyway.

Krillin didn't plan on 18 helping out. He was kind of upset that 18 did help out. Krillin went into the attack knowing he would lose, but he'd be better off going for it, then accepting defeat and losing outright. His hands shaking showed he was putting everything into it. Krillin wasn't thinking of this as a battle royale either, which makes sense, he shouldn't expect 18 to jump in.

Also, Krillin has a long history of punching above his weight. Fighting people way stronger than he is his career.

EDIT: Yeah, that's what I meant. Krillin didn't do well in the beam struggle and he was aware that he was totally outgunned at that level.

They should just say Tien's normal Tri Beam can now push back/harm anyone regardless of power level because it attacks their life force directly or something.

Yeah, the sheer knockback from the Tri Beam should be pretty nasty in this tournament. I think Tien is going to do some work!

Brola looks really badass in that new image. She is a true saiyan.

Forgot about the Destructo discs that breaks off into a bunch of mini discs.

Destructo Disc X 100 when?

I always assume that was the point of the Tri Beam, to knock them back regardless of strength. That's how I explained Cell, because if I remember he doesn't do much to Nappa when Tien hits him with the Tri Beam.

Lol, just watched the Frieza vs. Krillin bit in Kai, Krillin uses the Solar Flare, and then runs away screaming for Vegeta to attack, when he could have just used the Destructo Disc.

Nappa had to block it, so I guess it could have done some damage if his guard wasn't up. Which I guess is not bad considering the powergap.

I don't understand these comments. "Cringe" is a subjective experience. His usage of it isn't wrong just because you don't agree with it.

Super off topic but I've been seeing that sentiment thrown around a lot lately and I don't get it.

Cringe is gonna vary from person to person. That is very true.

Honestly saying stuff like this is why using 'cringe' is dead.

It's definitely meant to have superior power, not just knocking people away. In its initial use, he tried to cheese a win by destroying the tournament stage and thereby forcing a ring out, back when Tenshinhan could fly and Goku couldn't. He even told Goku what he was going to do because if he hit, Goku would be killed and he'd lose the fight.

I think the Spirit Bomb, Tribeam, Kienzan, and Special Beam Cannon are all part of the same class. They're all attacks that are so powerful that they can damage or defeat opponents who the fighter normally can't, but they're too impractical to use in a straight fight.

Because Cringe started to become overused and a sort of catch all. Suddenly everything was 'cringe'.

But that is off topic and probably best discussed elsewhere. I think.
