I'll wait until we get direct feed 60FPS footage to really get into the graphics, but they have got to improve the animations by a lot. It really feels like it's missing that "snap" that MvC3 has in motion that makes everything move real good.

I think all the switch mechanics are gonna make people have a field day. Looking at the counter-switch mechanic, even though it can be used to interrupt a combo, since the incoming character has to actively do something to stop the guy from beating the partner, I think there is a high possibility of people making counter-switch baits, not unlike what happens in GG and BB. Which means that they might do something like go for a quick recovering move at a certain point when they think the switch will occur, so when the slow time effects end (a thing to note is that they had the time gem equipped, I wonder if there are different break mechanics per gem), they can potentially go for a happy birthday.

Well the storyline is that Kwannon (the original japanese lady) was a ninja for The Hand and her husband was one of the japanese crime lords. She eventually went brain dead somehow, and her husband wanted her back, so they tried to use a psychic for it, in this case Betsy Braddock aka Psylocke. So they kidnapped her and the whole thing ended up mind swapping them. Eventually Kwannon awakens in Betsy's original body and becomes a villain named Revanche. Then after a bunch of stuff Kwannon dies in Betsy's original body, so the Psylocke you know has been in an asian body ever since.

Also fun fact, Psylocke would now have some telekinetic powers in her powerset instead of a pure telepath like before. She died fighting a guy named Vargas but her brother Jamie Braddock, who is a reality warper, brought her back to life and she had a power upgrade. So her moveset can be pretty interesting to expand on if they ever brought her back.

I like Psylocke because Jim Lee drew her hot af when I was in my impressionable teenage years. And then she was hot and thick I'm MSH and she's been my waifu for laifu ever since.

Being hot can't erase fuckery for me, especially when being a hot asian woman is a huge part of said fuckery.

Its why I never liked Emma Frost. Especially now. Emma and Jean gray are the worst, cyclops has bad taste in women

Disappointed, Marvel 3 looks better both from a gameplay and graphical perspective. Game's not done, I suppose, but I can't see it matching MvC3's style.

She's a relic of the 90s. I'm just saying I still have nostalgia for her, even though I realize it's stupid.

And I'd definitely main her if she made it in, lol.

Still, she was dope as fuck in remender xforce run..

I'm not accusing you of anything, and I understand she's a relic. ( maybe... a lot of the xmen are a relic of the 90's and actually that great ). I was just saying when I actually internalized what she was, she stopped being hot to me. Quick way to make a character unattractive to me, make them uncool.

Nah, she's kind of the worst and is cultural appropriation at a high level. Also she's not really that cool, and she was only closed to being cool like... recently. Way after marvel 2 came out.

You could argue she is weeaboo prime.
 
I just wish the game was brighter and more detailed. It's just so visually bland :-/

I just aint feeling it, which is a shame since I absolutely adore the vs. franchise.
 
Seeing Powerstone (Chun used the Power Stone) in this clip made me feel some type of waaayyyyyyyyy, FUCK! We need that shit, Capcom!

Anyway, I'm liking the way this is looking so far. Watching on mobile now, but a couple of the stages/backgrounds looked impressive. I wish there were more moving parts or action going on back there though. Looking forward to playing and seeing more coning up soon.
