So I watched the Big Mom song video. Hilarious as hell!

I was thinking to see the whole arc once it was over, in a marathon, but I will finally watch the 4 episodes one after another LOL
 
Watched the 4 episodes of the arc. Best One Piece is when you watch many episodes one after another the same day.

I'm thinking about our fellow gaffers in the Redux thread. They don't know how shit is about to get real.

I'm loving this arc, really.
 
Whole Cake is the best arc in a long time, and that's coming after Zou, which was already awesome. Glad the anime is doing it justice so far.

Assuming the anime only watchers still post. Not a lot of traffic in that thread for awhile.
 
In case somebody didn't remember how the song looked in the manga, here's the last part.

Toei finally did something good. Didn't they change the director or something recently? This arc looks better than Dressrosa and Zou animation by far.

One Piece is pretty much unwatchable to me these days since they completely fucked up the pacing of the episodes.

I occasionally check out certain scenes. But the show itself is too much of a mess to watch.

Yes they changed directors . They used to have one director do characters and animation. It's now separate. Less workload

I often watch OP in year long chunks.
 
Wouldn't be the first time Toei's messed that sort of thing up. Sanji's "other" eye had been inadvertently revealed a few times in the anime, due to natural flow of hair.

Same, for the action scenes and introductions and what not I'll check in. Even then, I just skip through it pretty quickly.

I think there are like 2 or 3 people who post in there regularly who don't read the manga.

It's annoying, but complaints are still part of a discussion. But when it overwhelms an entire thread, yeah it can be problematic.

I don't really see the issue, I see in the MHA manga thread they occasionally talk about episodes that depict scenes they've been waiting to see animated, nothing really wrong with that. I mean, I highly doubt we'll ever just have a future where for some reason all we literally talk about is the anime.

So who had the better animated introduction: Kaido or Big Mom?

I think the staff actually love scenea like that since it allows them to get the green light to be a little creative.

Same with the openings of shows.

I think big mom had it better animated and in the manga imo of course. Kaidos was cool tho
 
Best way to stop feeling compelled to talk about the anime is to stop watching it cold turkey. Because it's wet garbage.
 
I wonder when we will see who the remaining 2 Shichibukai are / will be (if any)

Also i wonder when we will see the third admiral
