Looks like they'll be avoiding the more fantastical villains, which is a shame. If this is true.

That guy posted another post 3 months ago on reddit that was removed, he claims they're aiming for a release this Summer, and the reason it hasn't been marketed yet is because Sony wanted to avoid its marketing clashing with Horizon. I don't believe any of it personally, no way it releases this Summer.

You forgot Halo Wars DE this year. Also Happy Wars is ID@Xbox. Also listed KI Classic but not KI 2 Classic. That's why lists like these always fall short, there's always stuff missing and stuff that probably shouldn't be there. List wars never really paint a good picture but then get quoted and spread :P
You want him to list Xbox's game twice?

Yeah, screw list wars, but come on...the fact that you need to put Halo Wars and the definitive edition for Xbox's output to still not even be close is sort of his point.

Yeah, I'm not buying that.

Pretty much. 5-7 minute gameplay trailer and I am content.

so yeah, not even reading this ''story leak'' then because this sounds like bs

now, what is the info people are saying this dude posted in the past that is right?

Same guy posted another leak which was true

I guess its this?

He also said that that they were showing a side project at gdc which became true.

I dont remember they showing any side project at this year's GDC

I am super pumped for Spider-man but I was really hoping for some of the crazier villains... An Insomniac designed battle with Mysterio or Shocker would be so rad.

Man, I'd really like those story details to be true as they sound great. Probably not though judging by what folks are saying.

What do you guys think of Spider-Man PS4 costume after almost a year now? I remember a lot of people disliking it.
I was one of the people who didn't like it when it was revealed. I still feel that way, but I'm not sweating it since I'm sure they'll put in something more traditional-looking as DLC. Probably a black costume too, that'd be dope.

I don't like the white aprts, should be black. Rest is really good.

All I want for the game is to not only feature Mahattan. Really, New York is a big place, use all of it!

I disliked it at first, but it's grew on me really fast, don't love it and can definitely see me switching to an alternative costume at some point if it's an option (which there most likely will be), but it's pretty good.

Oh uh, here's a question about Spider-Man: has it been confirmed that "Spider-Man" is actually the official name of the game? Because I'm all for it if so, but I mean, you'd think they'd want to give it a more unique/trademarkable name. I know the trailer had #SpiderManPS4 at the end but I always assumed that was sort of like a codename/working title thing to make it easier for folks to talk about it.

Its a working title

Lol that makes no sense. How would showing a gameplay trailer at PSX (for example) have conflicted with Horizon marketing? A gameplay trailer at that time with an August or September 2017 release date would have been a great way to generate excitement.

Even if you add the stuff you're talking about, the overall story won't change. It'll still be that MS is slowly but surely not putting out the same amount of FP content that Sony is, and the longer it goes the less close it becomes. Next year's going to look ridiculous.

And the sad thing is, I want MS to do well. I'm a Sony fanboy, but Sony does best when they're afraid of losing that #1 spot. But atm MS isn't giving them jack to be scared of.
Nintendo will be giving Sony plenty of competition, don't worry about that. But Knack 2 is hardly the answer to Mario.

I wouldnt be surprised to see another trailer before E3 even, like Sony did with Ratchet & Clank in 2015 and Horizon in 2016. Like a proper trailer, mixing story and gameplay bits

Remember that crazy year where Sony showed a lot of games before E3. I think it was Killzone 3,LBP2 and Infamous 2. The entire E3 show was filled with move games.

yeah I do. Like, Little Big Planet 2 was officially announced via a tweet and shit like this

I dont want to use that year (2010 I think?) as an example tho, cuz I dont want to jinx stuff lol

Ratchet is happening.

Bigger budget, longer dev time, and new story.

I was out for a bit, what does this mean? Another ratchet game?

If so then fuck yes!

Imagine if they did more with the arena mode or made this new entry like a crack in time with you being able to travel to planets and landing on them.

Im just saying that was a crazy year i hope they never do that again, maybe outside of announced games like i wouldn't mind something on GT Sport before E3.

Oh, I don't know anything. I just want that lol.

I wouldn't be surprised by them giving more to Ratchet considering how the reimagining performed.

yeah I agree. But hopefully for us, Sony clearly learned their shit with keynotes. Trying to watch a pre 2013 keynote without skipping parts is hard these days

Even E3 2013 and 2014 had big ass filler segments that I wouldnt imagine they would do again these days

They've been showing a few games before E3 the last two to three years. As long as it isn't their biggest stuff, it'll be fine. Stuff like Knack 2, Uncharted, GT Sport, etc... can be shown before E3.

I guess this E3 we will see Sucker Punch new game? I wonder what that is!

And dude... there are some stuff there I was almost forgetting, such as God of War and Knack 2.

I hope they don't take too long to release some of these... there are many great games being produced! Totally hyped for Spider-Man by the way.

I'm not a big fan of reviving dormant franchises like Crash, Ratchet, Sly, etc., but I did enjoy the R&C remake and I wouldn't mind if they made another.

Edit: whoops, quoted the wrong post.

Powers at 2014 something had to have fallen through that entire segment was so bad.

That moment you forgot to pre order so now the controller alone and the bundle with the game is sold out...Sony why! I wanna play farpoint with the controller
