There are some views that are so outlandish that not even the worst fanboys believe in. I can atleast have some sympathy for someone with a misguided love for their platform but what makes Wapplew's posts so toxic and insidious is that they're specifically tailored to derail a thread by having so many people explain why a 'LOL Halo sold 30 quntillion' post is ridiculous.

I am in the same boat as you deadpool. I know it won't happen but every time any of these events approach, I get that ever slight glimmer of hope. But there really is 0 indication that socom is even a possibility anymore.
It's interesting from an industry viewpoint (as opposed to gaming POV) - WB Montreal's has been struggling with this for a while and Warner Bros have stumbled with their line-up. Will they plug it with something else, will Damian still be the main character? I think there's some good discussions to be mined from it.
But, well, we'll see what the Mods think.

Yeah wapplew largely gets ignored when he tries to troll now, because it's so obvious. He was parading "Please don't let Sony get away with this" (console iterations) when the PS4 Pro was announced, and yet is all about Scorpio.

There are 13 new first party games announced for the PS4 right now, I doubt Sony is worried about its hit sales hardware position righ now, their public forces must be focused thinking how they can get the most out of these titles and get Horizon and Uncharted 4 numbers out of some of them

Because we really haven't heard any concrete details since PGW 2015. So, there's not a whole lot to talk about. Hopefully we'll see a proper reveal at this years E3.
Because there isn't much to talk about when those two screenshots are the only things that have released since its last showing at paris games week 2015.

They really need to release a beta soon. The E3 would be the perfect opportunity.
You will witness how good the community will be since the beta. Even coming up with results the devs wouldn't even intend to see in the game similar to what happened since LBP2 Beta.

I really wish they could do what Team Ninja did with Nioh but don't even know if that's possible with a game of this nature(Dreams). A lengthy beta sounds fantastic!

Uncharted Lost Legacy is a retail release and a standalone experience now. It was initially planned as DLC but isn't any more.
Wipepout probably doesn't as the post was referring to "new".
Materfall and WiLD are being published by Sony I think.

the first trailer for Wild is amazing, it feels like this epic journey where you meet gods etc.
the gameplay vid didn't really capture that feel, but it's only a small demo and shows that the game is still early in dev.

Yea that first trailer absolutely sold me on the concept and premise of the game.
After playing Horizon, I wish this game was on the Decima Engine. Here's hoping they can nail and capture that feel from the original gamescom reveal.
Do yourself a favor and try to play it on a nice display. That engine is straight up sex.
