but yeah, it is disappointing for sure.
As others said even in the first Injustice Scorpion sold the best. I do wonder though how the guests sold in MKX. I feel it's less novel when all the guests are from the same property.
So stupid. I abandoned playing on PS4 because of this.

Since she's a DLC character, she's more than likely non-canon. Just like how Scorpion wasn't canon in Injustice 1.
I'm pretty sure nothing from Injustice 1's DLC was canon, so it's probably the same here.

Damn. I hope they bring it up in the Story mode at least. It's kind of ridiculous that Batman just left Tim and friends in there, especially with Connor being mortally injured.

Do people still think games are worked on until the second they hit gold? There's tons of certification and processes they have to go through before the game hits retailers. The main game will be finished several weeks if not months before release and what are devs supposed to do in the time they wait for their game to come out? Twiddle their thumbs? That's where you work on the dreaded "day one patch" and get dlc heavily worked on.

In for Starfire, glad I didn't get over-excited and preorder one of the season pass editions since I could go without Red Hood or Subzero.

There's literally no way to win in this situation. If you don't do DLC, people will be upset that the game isn't getting supported post launch. If you do DLC and not give any info about that DLC, people get upset because they want to know what their season pass encompasses. If you do tease or reveal the DLC, then they claim that the extra content is already finished and they're trying to rip people off.
I'm willing to bet a lot of the people saying they won't buy the game now because of the amount of dlc weren't planning on getting the game anyway.

Moveset variety, starfire is mostly energy projection barring things like flight and such. And let's not go into bad comic phases with ms. I wanna sex you up.
Subzero is expected, Raiden is where it's too much.

The next wave of dlc characters (after the initial 9) if they do so. Manhunter and Zatanna went past the initial 4, then there's Kombat Pack 2.
No people want red hood, it wouldn't have worked for them. That's not how that works.
Oh I will, will someone introduced in the JUDAS CONTRACT, the fucking worst. Rape culture the comic. Also outside of that horrifying thing that i'm not going into, she was just a bad obviously evil character when she was introduced, uninteresting in almost every version she ever existed in and not really that memorable.

That's what I was wondering. Most of his polls included characters that ended up being in the game regardless of if they won. Maybe they might do a second legacy batch.
Did they get out? I only read the story where Superman injured Connor and force them all to stay in the Phantom Zone.

Yeah people want red hood just like people want Mr. Freeze but freeze is a skin and will satisfy those people. So we have it working in this version game.
That whole thing came at a time of less, let's say, awareness in mainstream comics. It was really toned down for the animated movie. Terra is pretty strong and has powers literally no one else in the game has right now. Lots of people shoot beams or balls of energy.
It's okay, they just have to lose to Darkseid to make everything right.

I feel like even NRS knows Subzero is a lame addition, but felt compelled to do it to boost DLC sales. E.g. to capture the "I don't care about any of those charaWHOA IS THAT MORTAL KOMBAT GUY?!?" crowd, which I'm assuming exists.
