Injustice 2: Fighter Pack 1 revealed (Starfire, Red Hood, Subzero announced as DLC)

This is the only Red Hood mask I'm familiar with

Hopefully there's some gear closer to that style.

Why? They would ruin Klarion's look, everyone in Injustice looks horribly over-designed and trying to hard to be realistic.

Unless you want 5 clock shadow Klarion.
 
I don't know much about Azrael, but he looks like he could be a fun character with his flaming retractable blades.

I'm not a huge fan of the character but I absolutely hate his new 52 helmet design that some artists draw, with the mouth drawn on.



I like his featureless mask, the arkham version was pretty well done.

That New 52 mask was awesome. Rocafort conveyed some unique facial expressions through it.

The initial announcement of this game included the announcement of the season pass and ultimate edition. They are actually showing some of what it is in it. This is the total opposite of Capcom's Season Passes or Tekken 7's up to this point.

One of the silhouettes in the third pack looks like a basic outline, so it looks like they're trying to keep them a surprise. Think it could be Spawn? Sucks that Static still hasn't shown up.
 
Good. Now Starfire can avenge Nightwing. He should be in here before Sub zero but whatever. Just glad we got Red Hood now.

So you were going to buy the Deluxe Edition for Power Girl? How does any of this effect your purchase them if you were going to pay $20 for Power Girl?
 
The person marked as Grundy looks more like Kalibak to me in terms of the dimensions of the silhouette.
 
Pretty sure those silhouettes are trolls, why would we get 2 MK characters? Thats such a waste, Sub Zero will likely have a Ras el ghoul Skin so that's acceptable but Raiden?

Also wheres my boy Spawn at?

In the past, NetherRealm has talked about how the Scorpion DLC for the first Injustice game sold dramatically better than any of the other downloadable DC characters they released for the game.

Ed Boon has declared the studio's intention in the past to bring more Mortal Kombat to the Injustice sequel, since like it or not, there's obviously a clear demand for it.

Scorpion was the most purchased DLC for Injustice 1. I guarantee you Sub Zero and Raiden will be among the highest selling characters for I2. Mortal Kombat 9 and X had similar situations with the movie characters being hot sellers.

These people were never going to buy it. As much as they claim otherwise. Seems pretty clear to me.

Yep

You can just wear the shit and not get the stat bonuses.

Though if you play the stat bonus modes, some gear has special moves

You can turn it off for online play.
 
I wonder what all moves we'll see in Sub's base moveset. I'm guessing the swords may be his character power. Or, well, ice weapons at least.

That's the wrong response to that question.

1. Starfire literally can't look like that in this game, they would have to mess with her proportions and translate that cartoony look into photorealism.

2. The gear still looks like gaudy rejected armor for DC universe online, her stuff would never look as simple and clean as the TT costume.

Also stop expecting Starfire to be based off that cartoon, every time she's in some new piece of media the designer is most certainly looking at the comics.

Spawn would of sold me the game, even though I have extreme distaste for the D.C. universe and most of its characters. Bummer.

Not like hounding you. You can like what you like, just interested in why? Do you like marvel? You not a fan of cape books in general and you just kind of like spawn?
 
People complaining about the DLC that NRS has actually shown you that you are gonna get..and.......its all a sudden a bad purchase now? Something that a lot of other companies have yet to embrace, especially since Injustice 2 hasn't even RELEASED yet.

Just....don't buy the DLC then? I don't understand the anger.

People complaining about Sub-Zero and Raiden but they threw in 2 of the most highly requested characters via Starfire and Red Hood PLUS more in the pipeline, and a possible "Year 2" set of characters if they plan on doing so

Man I'd HATE to be a game developer. You can't win for losing.
