Why is it anytime someone says something critical about the film nobody actually refutes them and instead just mocks the poster?
you post amidst multiple posts discussing Yondu and Rocket murdering the Ravagers.

Dude has a super arrow. Why not incapacitate the Ravagers and/or sabotage the ship? Heck, wasn't one guy just sitting at his table when Yondu murders him?
Yeah but they deserved it.you post amidst multiple posts discussing Yondu and Rocket murdering the Ravagers.
Don't worry, Marvel next evolution will be the Post Credit short movie after Infinity War part 2.
a nice 10 minute short movie to introduce something to set up Phase 4
(or just to appease MCUTV fans.... what all the TV/Netflix characters were doing during the last 2 movies) lol yeah right

Please note I'm not trying to call anyone out, but what I was trying to point out is just the straight up defection. If your talking about the "you shouldn't murder the murderers" guy, he deserves to be mocked. Reminds me of those gaffers who said they'd let their families get murdered/raped instead of killing someone to protect them.
Otherwise I had complaints about the movie and people argued about the points I was making and refuted them with logical discussions, no one really mocked me, so not sure what you mean.
This is what happens when you view movies entirely through the glass of "Well what will REDDIT and IMGUR and FACEBOOK think?" instead of just watching a film.

When I watch a movie that has a cute dancing tree and two grown men playing catch the first thing I think is "tryhard edgy".
It's garbage criticism. They'd be throwing The Godfather under the bus with that train of thought. A movie being quotable isn't a creative sin.
lol I just realized Rocket asking Yondu if he has copies of Peter's music and then playing a song from Vol. 2 is a plot hole. Peter never had access to Vol. 2 while with Yondu lmao how would Yondu have the music with him?
Please note I'm not trying to call anyone out, but what I was trying to point out is just the straight up defection.
I mean, Peter could've had more than one tape in his backpack when he Yondu etc picked him up. The Awesome Mix just happens to be a gift he got from his mom, which is why he listens to it as much as he does.Who said that was Vol 2 music? We didn't necessarily hear all of the songs on his Vol 1 tape after all.

We definitely did. The soundtracks that are released are Vol. 1 and 2, as they are in the actual movie.
This makes more sense. Feel like it's just a plot hole though, but an unimportant one lol
Yondu is speaking figuratively in that instance. He is describing what motivated and drove his decisions as more than just pure logic. If Yondu never used his head to control the arrow...why did he need the fin?

Using this logic, every movie with a comedic moment would be meme bait. Also, Guardians of the Galaxy got popular because of word of mouth, it was actually not doing that great at first. This was far, far before the Baby Groot dancing gif was a thing.
This whole post pretty much discredits your whole opinion. Flat out untrue.

Uh the first movie opened to $94m domestic opening weekend, not sure how you'd say thats not good.
Anyways GOTG2 has opened to $145m domestic and already $425m worldwide, while the first topped off at $775m worldwide this should easily break $1b and the budget didn't really go up a lot, the first movie cost $175m (+marketing) and the second one is at $200m (+ marketing).

That wasn't my point at all. The soundtrack is the songs in the movie. That doesn't mean that's all of the songs on his tape. When I was a kid recording music off the radio I had almost 30 songs on each side. If you aren't old enough to have done that you probably wouldn't know you could have so many songs on a tape. The other guy said it better though.
And yet nobody actually replied to my previous post which did exactly that"it's tryhard" isn't legitimate criticism, maybe if people can vocalize what they actually are trying to say with real words, people will respond likewise.
but he was specifically talking about the arrow, not his general decisions and motivations
I got your point. It was wrong. Gunn told us the first soundtrack was the actual tape, so I assume the same is true of the second.
If Yondu never used his head to control the arrow...why did he need the fin?
Actually no - we see "Ain't No Mountain High Enough" playing at the end of the first film, and it's included in Awesome Mix Vol. 1 in the real world, but it's clearly the first song on the second tape. It's implied that "I Want You Back" is on that tape as well.
So it definitely could be an unheard track on Vol. 1.
If Baby Groot is aimed at anything, it's children. He's an animated character that does a fun little dance sequence to start the movie and makes funny faces and sounds.
And yet nobody actually replied to my previous post which did exactly that
Okay dude, you can get off that high horse at any time.

I'm confused, did I imagine making an effortpost which detailed each of the main characters in this movie on the last page of this thread or are you just blind?Your post was just a bunch of presumptuous drivel stating that the jokes are there to be meme-worthy and "viral" without actually explaining why.

Yeah okay dude. The length of your post has little correlation with its quality.

Did GotG 2 have the highest death toll among the MCU movies?

Watched it last night and while I thought it was a fun movie it pales in comparison to the first GOG. They tried too hard on some of the jokes and like someone mentioned above it felt like I was watching a comedy with some action rather than an action movie with great comedy sprinkled in.
I think it is weird that Drax the Destroyer was pretty much just comic relief.
Ego was a bit contrived and the final battle was just as bad, the dude is a celestial and manifested a human form.... who cares if you beat the crap out of the human form. Have to believe he "allowed" himself to lose, right?
EIther way, it was fun I just question some of the decisions made.
Hahahahahahaha this has me rolling.
