Wouldnt say there was any hype for Le Joker.
Personally I don't.
I think it was the worst part of the first game.
If they are going to go forward with their own versions of these characters and it's universe, it needs to stand on it's own.
Stuff has to have consequences, and you can't just pull new characters from alternate universes.
It felt cheap to have the alternative universe characters save the day in Injustice 1.

You do have a point. The story for this game is pretty meh though. I feel like nothing actually happened.
The trident pisses me off. Has pretty nice range though.

I wouldn't even consider him "back" seeing as how he is only in the game for 1 fight in Harley's part of the story as an effect from the fear toxin and is never seen or heard from again.
I hope it is soon so I can unlock the Grid Cyborg skin.

The iOS game is fun. I played this gameplay before, but they do a great job at this. Contest of Champions has a huge following, but it feels like there's more to the controls and game mechanics with Injustice 2.

No, this is the n52 Freeze. And a pretty faithful rendition at that, if we omit the helmet.

Omit the helmet, the hair, the icy skin colour and the musculature.
It's a horrendous rendition of a bad depiction of the character.

The Vixen "backlash" (if it can even be called that) is absolutely absurd. It's not like NRS ever had any intention of making her a unique character. The premier skin is an added bonus meant to throw a bone to Vixen's fans, and crying about it is just going to deter NRS from giving us cool shit like this in the future. She's a C-list supporting character best known from an online cartoon that nobody watches, and she's lucky to have a premier skin.

This. I never once considered Vixen as possible DLC and I appreciate NRS doing this for her fans. It's a shame some people have to find controversy in everything.

I never used him in the first, but I will give him a shot 2 for sure.
He's thinner than the CC model though. I don't understand why they didn't just give him his suit with the same thickness as Cold's jacket

I originally thought they made Cold kind of bulky in this game specifically for the Freeze skin... but that Freeze is thinner than Cold by a lot.
Freeze without his dome is also just plain weird. That's his life support...

I don't know. It appears to me that NetherRealm think the only acceptable black characters are not even 3/5ths of a person (mostly a robot), have a white person living in their heads or is basically an animal.
