Man they got the shittiest multiplatform games this gen for marketing. Man they better bring some serious exclusive heat if they gonna start parading around with the same tired ass games to fill in the gap.
Lol

I perfectly fine with MS having marketing deals I just hope they don't make any deals that excludes content from other platforms
Why not keep this stuff for articles and maybe a video on the Internet? I thought E3 was all about games according to again, Phil Spencer? Not only will we get the Scorpio reveal which is understandable but also VR/AR stuff. Hopefully as brief as possible.
Just the headset and controller, give some info and price and DONE. That PSX show two years ago perfectly showed how VR demonstrations suck big time. They just aren't fun to see at all. I would hope MS looked at that and decided not to do that.

I dislike 3rd party moneyhatted exclusivity, including Sony (Destiny dlc...), but as far as egregious 3rd party paid exclusive content goes, MS has the crown both for this gen and last imo..
Correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think MS has ever done content that was completely exclusive for their system, while I DO recall that kind of stuff during the PS3/360 time with the Batman games by Sony. I also believe RDR had content that never came to 360.

PS360 era: GTA 4 dlc ($50m deal) 1yr exclusivity and Tomb Raider Underworld lifetime exclusive dlc, apparently removed from the game itself
PS4/XB1: Titanfall going from a likely 1yr exclusive to a lifetime exclusive behind the back of the devs, ROTTR paid 1yr exclusivity
At the end of the day Xbox E3 shows never are fully only about games. They always have a section dedicated to new features coming to Xbox One and that's fine I guess. Those parts are never insanely long. Let's hope they briefly cover the mixed reality stuff.
I doubt it though, they already showed the thing at Build, so next is maybe announcing it will support Scorpio as well and probably demo a game. Hope I'm wrong. These kind of demos never excite anyone.
Assassin's Creed will be at Microsoft's show. It is okay.I pray to the Xbox gods that there is no wasted time on e3 for a new Assassins Creed...i understand people love the game, but let ubisoft show it off themselves we need bomb dropping 1st party gameplay for games announced and unannounced

I'm always interested in new features coming to Xbox One, I don't think the press conferences need to be exclusively about games. New features and new technology that is important to the industry I think are fine, as long as they are interesting of course.
They don't usually do this. It's generally one-month timed content for MS games.

Well Sony has CoD and I don't know about you but I've considered that a tired ass game for a few years now. They also have Destiny 2 but that only makes sense since they had 1 as well and the fact that they are market leader.

That's true man. New Tech is always interesting and that's where Scorpio comes in. But so far most if not all of these VR and AR demos haven't all been very interesting. I guess we'll find out.
But with Shinobi now starting to leak things a little, even if the AC thing was expected, I wonder if we get to hear more leaks. On one hand I rather have no leaks at all so we'll be surprised when we get that during the show but on the other I am slightly curious if MS has anything really new up their sleeves.
But if Shinobi has no more leaks, hopefully that's not an indication that they have nothing really new. Some announcements similar to their BC announcements would be great. Completely out of the blue.
Mhm, Halo 6 will be a cinematic but I think Crackdown 3 will have a Halo 6 beta. This is easily the best prediction for what MS will show. Although I'm a little more pessimistic and do not believe there is a final unannounced AA/AAA game. Also, Halo 6 will simply be a CG trailer with no specific subtitle.
I think if Crackdown 3 and State of Decay 2 have great showings, Halo 6 won't overshadow them. Halo 6 would be more like a cool icing on the cake type situation. This is a good list/show but Microsoft should hold off in regards to showing Halo 6 as all it will do is overshadow the rest of their 2017 games and if I was Microsoft, I would be trying to build up Crackdown 3 and State of Decay 2 as opposed to bringing them down which is what will happen if they announce Halo 6.
Mhm, I think it will be a show that goes over pretty well with the core Xbox crowd. Beyond that, I don't know. I just want stuff that I can't predict which gets me excited. That would only be in the 'unannounced AAA/AA' part of my list.Seems to be the way they are going, what a bland showing though. How many years have we seen the same indies again and again without getting released. And what's the point of Recore Def. edition. Should have just delayed the game. Halo 6 or Forza are not exactly exciting anymore. They will only be pandering to their hardcore Xbox fans.
If I were you, I really would set my expectations. Personally I'm not expecting much in terms of new first party games aside from of course Halo. If there is a surprise, great.
I'm done expecting great things from MS when it comes to games. I can still hope, but I don't expect much anymore.
I still love my Forza, Gears and Halo so I'm still excited. The smaller stuff looks cool too.
AC is probably one of the better games for them to showcase Scorpio.

That set of games keeps their hardcore base happy and they are the ones that will most likely pick up a Scorpio day one as well so it should work for them in the short term. The problem is and has always been how do they bring in new or lapsed gamers. As someone who has no interest in halo or gears or racing games, I just can't see myself ever picking up an Xbox console.Of course AC is going to be there. Most of us guessed they had a deal with MS already. Be prepared to see it.
I can't even get excited for this lol. I've never seen a list of so many games and I'm like eh it's ok I guess. I really want to see Japanese games.

I think they will announce a few Japanese games. Code Vein being one of them, definitely see that one happening, hope so.
Why are people mentioning Recore DE? Does that game even warrant a DE for MS when it didn't sell all that great? But I guess it's possible that they announce it and with it comes that new DLC we still don't have.

Yeah, I think either way both of those games will be in GP.Or it could be a Game Pass situation with Phantom Dust.
Mhm, I heard Phil has a strong attachment to ReCore. It makes sense for them to push it if that is the case.Yeah, I think either way both of those games will be in GP.
Phil seems extra defensive of ReCore, more so than with other games like QB or SO, so I have a feeling they'll be continuing that relationship. In their best interest to get as many people to play the first game as possible.
Even though Xbox has the marketing rights for Ass Creed... the game that is being referred to in the tweet is not Ass Creed.
3 weeks to go. What are all you guys most excited for? Speaking realistically.
