My review will be going up later today. I'll cover things like the story balance and stuff in a complete non spoiler fashion as I always do. I've played it twice, did a few multiverse challenges, got a couple of character endings. Last night a few friends and I put the online through its paces. I feel it's NRS's best game to date. I think it's gonna sell more than MKX. Just look at the graphics and compare it with any other fighting game right now. Tekken 7 is probably the only one with comparable graphics, but I'm not into 3D fighting games (I think there are a lot of other people that prefer 2D as well).
Injustice 2 has a lot going for it. I think it is just going to appeal to a ton of gamers. I showed it to a friend who never plays fighting games and he said he'll probably get it now (after I showed him the "everything you need to know" trailer).
It's gonna sell gang busters.

I don't think abilities would be more fun but it's up to you. Also, does anyone with the game know how you unlock the third shader that says not for sale?

So far nobody has ever removed a review of mine so we will see. I am no Karak (who I'm a huge fan of) but I try to offer my opinion on things in my own way. FYI word of warning on this. WB is the only company to remove a video of mine pre release with a retail sourced copy AND that included the copyright strike AND refused to remove it. Which is devastating for a channel
Just a word of warning. I have already beat it twice and review is done but I am waiting for the embargo anyway. They don't care about love, or passion. Many of us have that. They DO, for reasons I am not sure of, particularly seem to care about some of their properties in this way. Doesn't seem to be all of them. And as almost all companies do, they have representatives who are members at most forums to watch for breaks.
I am not saying they will. Just that it is an insane risk to take if it includes a copyright strike.

My two friends who plays fighting games with arcade are saying this game is not good on traditional sticks.
I heard nrs games are good with hitbox though.

I want to play as classic Joker. I'd even take an Arkham Knight skin tbh.
I've watched a lot of Tekken 7 and I'm not so sure. Even on PS4 it has a blurry quality to it.
Environments look nice though.
Tekken 7 probably won't beat I2 in terms of visuals, at least on base PS4. Pretty sure it runs at 900p.
Always forget it's coming out on PC, though.

As someone who took a good look at both, I don't think Tekken 7 is as visually impressive. T7's character models are not nearly as polished as Injustice 2's. Wait till you see them close up. Every hair strand is modelled, you can count every skin pore. The countless gear pieces are also mostly beautifully modelled and textured. T7's stages can point by being 3 dimensional, but Injustice 2's stages are therefore much more detailed, boast prettier textures and effects. T7 also has nothing to rival the impressive super moves and stage transitions of Injustice. Some are truly jaw dropping.
Last but not least IJ2 runs in 1080p resolution on PS4, whereas console T7 just runs in 900p and it is completely missing as cool effects such as IJ2's motion blur.

As someone who's been hands on with both Injustice 2 and Tekken 7, Injustice 2 takes the crown on base consoles. I wouldn't have thought so a few months ago, but NRS really brought the visuals together recently and T7 disappointed at 900p compared to arcade's native.
But, T7 is extremely gorgeous at 4K on PC that Injustice can't compete with (yet, at least).

Indeed, they need to watch/play 9 then do the same with MKX and tell me with a straight face that NRS cannot animate well or improve, MKX looks great compared to 9. What I have seen now in IJ2 is a further improvement yet again. GJ to them I say.

My friend and I were playing 1 the other day and evertime we initiated a clash and it went in on the faces we went AHHH NOOO, haha. It really is amazing how far they have come.
