Did they say anything PS4 pro specific?
So turns out only the "GAF leak" is wrong lol
Where's the Switch version?!?
but it looks like a step in the right direction instead of a leap forward.
Lackluster presentation overall, and the game is about in line with what I expected. Some new content, QOL improvements, and a general refinement of the D1 formula.
Will probably be enough to get me to buy in, but not enough to have me overly excited or feeling that this is a huge step up for the franchise.
Sorry to ask this again, but the thread is moving fast. Was there any word on whether weapon balancing would be separate from single and multiplayer, or is the balancing still linked? I hop it's separated.
It's bald faced obvious why this is exclusive to Blizzard app. Activision wants that Overwatch audience cross over cash
Not many first person shooters thrive outside Steam.
I must say that, as someone whose never played Destiny past the demo, I had no idea what half the terms in that reveal meant. I doubt I'll buy Destiny 2 not because I think it'll be a bad game but because I never feel right getting into such massive MMO-like series far after their community's been established; whilst everyone will be rejoining whoever they played D1 with I'll be some low-level 'noob' still figuring out what a Strike is.
OK who is making the Recap TLDW topic
Expected more than the same number of planets as last time.
Expected a true open world with quest givers scattered about...
Expected a more dramatic difference in visuals (either 60 fps or a big improvement at 30 fps)
One raid?
Here's hoping Destiny 2 doesn't have the content issues the first game had at launch.![]()
Where's the Switch version?!?

Wow, all those rumors were true. Destiny 2 looks great. Really glad to see the focus on a cinematic story. The opening level was awesome, and I like that it actually looks a bit different graphically.
Speaks volumes that some basic features (like a map and a story) are some of the best improvements to the game.
My one concern is that the playspaces won't be that open. EDZ on Earth looks great, but how much of that is just skyboxes versus actual playable spaces? I want less tight, dark corridors, and more big, open explorable spaces.
Trust me. The ones defending it are even funnier.
They completely cut Steam out of the deal. Also, potential for crossovers (see the ton of people who played a moba for Overwatch items)
I put the first game down after getting to 20 and doing the first raid. After watching this reveal, I say no thanks. Too many good games reportedly coming out this fall. Bungie's lost me.
well, he did mention "PS4 Pro 4k goodness", but I'm sure its just upscaling
Yup. It sucks. I haven't played a 30 fps shooter since Destiny 1, and it's been nice...It's not 60 FPS. They would've said if it was.
It is weird they launch COD WW2 on Steam but not Destiny 2.
that is what Guided Games are for
