Trainer Club is down. Again. They're looking into it.
If they're not ever going to do anything special with the Trainer Club link, then they should just let us migrate to Google.

Only Pokémon I don't have is Larvitar and I've seen zero. Dangit.
Well, it does. Instant three Candy. Combined with another two Larvitar caught I'm up to 53 Candy. Just 14 more Larvitar to have a living dex, and 10 for a non-living.

Went on an hour long run today with more disappointing than expected results. Saw some Slugma, which I'm not interested because they spawn commonly around here anyway. Kabuto and Omanyte were cool. I really wanted Onyx for candies to power up my Steelix. Saw a grand total of one on my sightings but couldn't find it.
Saw some Geodude but those always spawn. Actually, Geodude spawned much less than I expected considering how often they spawn on a normal basis here anyway.
Saw no Larvitar or Aerodactyl.
Nothing else that I can think of. When I go downtown to Riverside I suppose that will be a lot more lucrative.
Oh and fuck the red lines telling me that Pokemon aren't real.

So currently im at 197 caught and 202 seen, but I guess that event will help me to jumo over 200 caught 
After playing something like 8 months (I don't know the exact number but I started maybe a month after release) I finally got a Dragonite through tons of egg grinding. That seems kind of long to me.
I've also literally seen maybe two Aerodactyls in gyms, and neither I nor my girlfriend have EVER seen or hatched one otherwise. I've not seen one in the event thus far either, but the event is basically my only hope.
The event has otherwise been good though (Slugma, Shuckle, Omanyte / Kabuto, Onix, Geodude, every one of which I needed), and I saw the first Electabuzz anywhere around in something like 7 months. I have a slight chance of completing my original pokedex besides the impossible other country ones (which I'm sad about).
Is it possible to hatch a Porygon? That's the massive blockade that's impossible for me to even grind, and it hurts because it has an evolution too. *edit* The internet suggests it's a 5k egg, though sadly I hatch tons of 5k's and haven't had any luck.

Sorry I thought you were talking in general not just the transition to the event.
I had 4.8 KM on my Flaffy when it switched over, boom bonus candy.

No sooner had the event begun when I caught my first Aerodactyl.
Event is a complete success for me now.

When the event started I missed both Aerodactyl and a Larvitar due to PTC being down. Got back on within 15 minutes of the login going back up and I haven't seen a single worthwhile spawn. Awesome. Thanks for that Niantic.

Don't feel bad, I've literally seen 1 Dratini since launch. I haven't hatched any either. It's trash.
This event has also been bad for me -- lots of Onyx, Geodude, and Kabuto. They all spawn here often anyway.

yea this event is pretty fun. Im in a water/grass biome so i never see rock types..
Same. I barely see Geodudes or Rhyhorns, even less now then before Gen 1.
Good question actually. I've seen every rock pokemon by Larivtar here. Must be very rare. Even caught an Aerodactyl.
