Republican Candidate in Montana Special Election Attacks Reporter

You honestly need to brace for a loss

You realize that Ossoff has led almost every single poll since the primary, yes? I still think it's barely above a coin flip, but it's not really worth painting an unrealistically bleak picture based on the data we have. I would give Ossoff a 55%~ chance of winning. If you think that means "brace for a loss", sure, but it's probably not a correct assessment given the data.

Why is this not on the news?????????? We can't let someone into Congress attacking people. This isn't Russia.... oh wait.

bro it JUST happened.

I thought he was defending his seat?

Wait, why is there a special election again?

Secretary of the Interior held this seat before getting confirmed earlier this year. This an incumbent Republican seat but the Republican in race has not won this seat before.

This just happened, and Chris Hayes did mention it.

All hope becomes crushed in red states

As someone who lives here I had it 52-48 R since right after the primary. At best I think Ossoff is a one or two point fave right now just based on demographics. The CBO score may push it another point or so.

What happens if he wins, but then has to step down after he's arrested? Another special election? Does the state just appojnt someone?

The sheriff is elected, and the current holder of the position -- Brian Gootkin -- is a Republican.

He's the coroner too, oddly enough

What a perfect representation of the GOP's America.

"Yes I have to do two jobs because our budget is constantly slashed by Republican overseers, but I'll never vote for anyone different damn it!"
