No they don't. Xbox one S upscales the games to 4k.
yes but i believe thats what the other person was thinking. In that sense, you can get 4k without 4k assets

I feel like the main group of people going all digital, are from the USA
Except, you know, that's not true 4K.
Trade-in feels like a really consumer-friendly model until you realize what it does to game prices. If a single copy of a game is sold multiple times only the initial sale actually contributes anything to the publisher and developer. Let's say a million copies are sold new and two million people more people buy it used. The complete cost of developing and promoting it plus enough profit to cover the risks involved have to be completely carried by those first million sales. The net revenue from the other two million sales goes to GameStop or whoever else handles used sales. Now compare that to digital where no used sales are allowed, so the developer and publisher see revenue from each of the three million users.
Guess which approach will lead to more games being developed and the potential for more attractive game prices? Guess which one leads to more shady retail outlets pressuring people into buying used games while new game prices go up?
Me UK i find games go on sale pretty quick,so make use of that.Would be interesting to know:
Is anyone who is not from the US going all digital?
(console ... not PC)
If I buy digital I practically never buy from my countries marketplace due to the euro pricing. It'd indeed be interesting to see the divide between regions for physical vs digital.Would be interesting to know:

1) don't play Frisbee with your disks
2) contents insurance
3) only advantage on this list
4) but they sometimes arrive before launch (most pointless point on the list)
5) I'm not at school
6) resale
This, and I suspect that 15 years from now, I'll be able to play many (all?) of my OG Xbone games on whatever MS offering is out there at that time. Without dusting off a box of old discs if physical drives for consoles even exist then.I only buy digital. That is because if you have 2 XBOX's, you can use the game on both consoles. I am surprised how many people that own a console don't know this.
You buy game with one account. Login to both consoles to download. The console you will play it on, you make the OTHER the home console. That way other profiles can play the game and play online with it, even when you are logged into to the other.
This alone is reason to not buy disc anymore.
I didn't know we were only discussion YOUR buying habits.
I thought we were discussing whether or not benefits exists.
1)You don't have to play frisbee with a disc for it to scratch- shit happens. Kids, guests, accidents- anything.
2) Buying a game digitally IS essentially contents insurance in this case... and you don't even have to file a claim!
3) But I thought there were none?
4) so "sometimes" nullifies the entire point? Sometimes shipments arrive late, sometimes they get lost...
also, What about after launch? I can download a game right now, while I'm at work and it's ready to play when I get home.
5) what does being at school have to do with anything? I cut my spending in half, but gamesharing with my brother who's 600miles away.
6) again resale means nothing for a consumer who's usage outlasts resale value. I like many other don't buy games they intend to resell.
Just because the benefits don't interest you, doesn't mean there aren't benefits.
On April 1st of 2016 Nintendo announced plans to shut down the DSi Shop on the Nintendo DSi and DSi XL, collectively referred to as DSiWare. The announcement revealed a two-part timeline: the ability to add funds would end on September 30th, 2016 and the ability to make purchases would end on March 31st, 2017. The announcement further stated that the ability to re-download DSiWare titles would end at some point but no further information has been revealed.
1) you'd have to properly fuck a disk for it not to work.
2) you need to file a claim for your stolen console then redownload everything
3) potato potarto
4) I can pop out and buy the disk at lunch
5) well that's an advantage in a long distance relationship
6) you're discussing YOUR buying habits now. Trading in is an entire industry, so it still stands as the premier advantage on both lists.
We can also add price and;
And PT
You never quite own a digital anything.
Most casual people wont know or care
1) or just scratch it
2) or just log into your account
3) your statement was wrong
4) yes you leave, but it, return home, and then wait for it to install the disc and day one patch
5) it works regardless of distance... but yes it is yet another advantage (the things you said didn't exist)
6) yes I am. The point being that the various advantages of either distribution method will weigh differently with different people. Which is what I said from the very beginning. This why comments like "there are no advantages to digital" are bullshit
I'm sorry if you feel burned you "purchase" of P.T.
My wife has her own Xbox and we frequently play the same games together. This makes all arguments regarding physical moot, since it's cheaper to buy 1 digital copy vs 2 physical ones.
You guys think MS already informed DF about the price during their visit there?

What do we think it's going to be like on the sound front?
The mock up looks like one of those AMD fans that sound like a vacuum cleaner

Eh? Are you sharing a game tag? You can install the same disk on both consoles. Regardless, the ability for a married couple, with 2 xboxes, wanting to play the same game, on two xboxes, at the same time, renders physical media moot? Are you kidding, I really can't tell.
Noise is highly dependent on the RPM of the cooler(s) and the usage of blower design by itself doesn't tell much about how noisy it can be. Most of consumer electronic devices with active cooling are using such blower style coolers these days, some of them are still very quiet.
It's my only concern at the moment. Silent xbox one is a God send over the 360.
My friend and I do the exact same thing you and your wife do. I'm in Atlanta and he's in Chicago and we've never paid full price for new digital games. My wife has her own Xbox and we frequently play the same games together. Likewise, I prefer not having a wall of disc cases and the convenience of jumping between games without having to get up is under rated. I still buy the odd physical if it's an incredible deal, but only for single player, 1 off experiences.

Guys, if you are worrying about Hardware. I need only say one thing.
Panos.

The man, the myth, the legend.
Sickening!
to this
I realize it was intended to be cute, but even casual homophobia is damaging to many people in our society including me. Please think twice before invoking anything of the sort.

Especially annoying during Horizon where the fan is constantly changing between normal and 360 levels of noise. The fan can be audible, I just don't want constant that up- and down like on PS4 Pro. That would honestly sour me on Scorpio.

The rumors of Scorpio hitting in August or even earlier are false. Launch games require cert against October 2017 XDK."

You don't need to share a game tag. It doesn't need to be your wife. Two siblings could play each other. An adult and their kid.
I feel like I'm unnecessarily joining the dots for you...
