Okay, reshifting criticism to the fact they look like generic Japanese parodies of 50s/60s U.S. biker "gang". They dont all have to run around in armour, but they're alien, how about a bit of variety to their outfit.

Lol. Guy doesn't know what series he's watching. Dragonball has always built up side characters just to tear them down.
That isn't true since the show never build up Yamcha and constantly tore him down.
And the people they do build still get a good fight/showing before getting screwed so krillin will last a while before getting kicked out, Tien probably not

seeing how they're dealing with Tien's character in the last few eps, he'll potentially be the first one to ring out/KO but it depends on what they trying to do with Roshi and Tien, I can totally see those two team up, and Roshi gets KO'd while giving Tien the time to shine

Yamcha is literally going to save earth while everyone is away, participating in this tournament and there is going to be so much crow eating.

I'm going to say 18 as much as I don't want it to be. She's fighting only for money, she doesn't care that the universe is being destroyed and her husband and daughter will die, so the most selfish character on U7 losing first makes the most sense.

And seeing from the goku fight where 18 bailed Krillin out she is probably going to sacrifice herself just guessing
I think Tien will last longer than people think. Him getting shit on in the buildup episodes, makes me think he'll get few good moments in Super, even if not many.
I would think the Roshi buildup has to amount to something.
Either way, Toei figuring out who falls first, or I guess Toriyama if it's in his outline, has to be a tough choice, unless it's Toriyama and he just wants to troll.

We know she's still significantly stronger than Krillin, her getting knocked out first could be a wakeup call that she needs to train more, especially after seeing how strong 17 is.
plus she is not taking it seriously and it means for Krillin who i training to be more relevant and catch up than it means for her

Did No 18 ever trained after Cell arc? Unless taking care of Marron made her stronger
It is something that Dragon Ball in general does not do much and i am glad we are getting more of that in this arc. Plus you need some build up.

Buu actually got to fight this time though.
Would be pretty cool, despite being super unlikely. I like the idea of Goku sitting out, because he was so eager and excited for the tournament. It would be interesting to see him watching the Tournament of Power, completely helpless to protect his friends, family, and entire universe. But yeah, don't see that going down lol.

Vegeta jobs. Roshi, Tenshinhan put in some work but get knocked out in the middle. Freeza gets disqualified. Goku gets knocked down at the beginning of the final fight with Jiren. Piccolo and 18 try to last but get knocked out during the final battle. Gohan, Android 17 and Krillin make it to the end.
