Man, just won 7-8 straight matches in casual today. Think I really got the hang of this deck. It helps that weather used against me completely comes back to bite people in the ass. Please use more weathers.

Weather can be strong enought to win you a match. I made a pass by mistake thinking i won the 1st round when was my adversary that won the first round, my weather alone won the match.

I played my first online game after going through most of the offline challenges. My opponent had a Monster deck with a lot of cards I hadn't even seen before, but after we both went into the final round with 0 cards I managed to scrape a lucky win. For a card game that was tense haha.

As far as i know only the premium (animated) cards give you some meteorite back when you mill them.

I think I might actually stick with this game. It's different from other card games that often feel like they're chasing a certain other game's success.
Hjalmar + Renew saved my ass in the last match.
I played him in round 1.
Opponent used Renew to play him in round 2.
I used Renew to play him in round 3.

What do you think about a penalty for forfeiting in Ranked? More than half of the matches are forfeited in the last rounds. I'd like to see a Matchmaking ban starting with 15 minutes.

Forfeiting IS effectively accepting the loss, it's just quicker, no need to wait for your turn.
Are Shani and Dijkstra worth anything? Got them from 2 kegs [1-4 drops, not able to choose] and not sure what to do with them.

I never understood this whole conceding should be penalized in card games mindset. You want them to be banned from matchmaking for 15 minutes? That's ridiculous. I shouldn't have to sit there and watch you play out the rest of the game if I have already lost.

Its faster forfeiting, you still get the 2 rounds wins. I dont see any reason why a penalty is needed. All the rounds wins are correctly distributed in the end. I do it all the time if i still have cards in my hand and i know i have no chance to win.
Today I played a match where on round 3 the last card I had was scorch and the highest unit was mine and I was about to use it on myself but instead the guy just forfeited the match and gave me the win 
Also can't seem to get rank 7. I get 20 points from rank up and then go on a 5 game losing spree lol. Happened 3 times already

EDIT: Man, the AI challenges have zero idea how to deal with some stuff. Fake Ciri and resilience in particular.

Whats up with ranked sometimes not promoting? Like I get past 900 rank points for a lvl up and it doesn't upgrade.

Maybe glitch. Where are u playing?
On PS4 my ranks always updated when ranking up. When i rank down is when the game dont update to the correct ranking so it keeps showing the highest rank i got, dunno if glitch or intentional that.
What deck are you using?
Why? It's graceful to forfeit when you've lost. Shall we jail professional chess players when they forfeit as well?
Those are NRs best golds, also big pieces in the reaver hunter cheese deck which is good for smashing low levels if you are low on the ladder.

On a different note, just got through a Nilfgaard player who opened up Cantarella then Drought (which I countered with Dethmold) then Ragh nar Roog (which I countered by Decoying Dethmold). Beat him the first round, passed second round, and then crushed him by 40 points the last round with a card disadvantage.

I'm using a Skellige deck with Olgierd/Morkvarg, Wild Boar of The Sea and Brokvar Hunters.
My opponents weather usually just ends up buffing my hunters, while my ship and/or my shieldsmiths are buffing Morkvarg.
My hunters or Olgierd/Morkvarg end up getting buffed so much by the end of the game that I just rez them and that's usually it.
If you can't gain good value on two cards vs a 4 then I think you need to re-think your deck.

Agaist skellige decks i usually only have trouble against queensguards ressers, Morkvarg is annoying too. My other cards usually neautralize everething else. Some "Milfgaard" and Scoiatel dwarve decks are the ones i have most trouble beating too. They are way too OP. But i refuse to play with anithing other than my monsters. Dont care if i stay low ranked, as long im having fun.
Right now I have a perfect 50% winning rate in ranking, 28 wins, 28 losses, 2 draws.
But i rather play casual online matches than playing agaist the exact same OP decks over and over in ranking.
I added Regis higher vampire to my deck just for them. He's always good value anyway but it's hilarious eating one of their buffed protectors at the end of a drawn out round 1, they fall apart if they can't win round 1 and they have to chance if you have Regis in hand.
I'm only level 5 right now and still using slightly modified starter decks (mostly Monster and Nilf) but I went against a reveal nilfgaard and it seemed like one of the first 'real' decks I've played against. Had a bunch of cards I haven't seen before and even played Tibor which I heard a lot about. But I ended up challenging the card anyway.

Also, might be a dumb question but I've seen a lot of cards that have multiple spots/different artwork in the collection like Reaver Hunter. Should I just mill the extras since it looks like I technically have 9 of them or am I missing something?

I haven't played any rank matches as well...mostly because I get a bit of anxiety and I also just want to really learn how to play around certain match ups with this deck (which I feel is pretty flexible so far).

Also they need to fix the shit that involves the strength not being accurate to when it gets buffed. There has been multiple times when used Decoy where my card doesn't get the +3 str buff. Also when using Ambassador (+10) on a card sometimes give me nothing.
It's a visual bug. If you hover over the decoyed card, the value is correct. Still has to be fixed, though.
It's not just you. It's a known bug on the XB1 version.

I've checked that, doesn't seem like it.
Previously, no. However, they apparently have some sort of a refund system in place for open beta, although they never specified exactly what it will look like.
Had a horrible night yesterday, I was like 21 wins up on my losses, now only 13. Decided to make a NG deck but missed a bunch of cards, so bought 15 kegs. Get Tibor in it lol. Made the top GwentDB deck but it sucked for me, so made SuperJJ's deck (only with Tibor instead of the new gold) and that went a bit better. Just need to learn it properly. Man it thins so much.
Hope I can climb back up. Think I'm below the rank 12 mmr now even after all those losses.

Welp, I'm out of commission for the night, hopefully support answers before their weekend starts. Talking with gwent discord, it sounds like a keg of mine got unsynced from their server and now my game won't let me do anything because that keg is stuck, Trying to start a match freezes my game, going to open the keg just shows the same card sover and over again with no option other than closing the game from task manager when it shows the last screen with the 5 cards you got together.
