Yeah, I don't really care about any of this.
I'm probably a terrible customer in that sense, but I just want a Swtich 2 so I can play a few Nintendo games now and then, when they're releasing their big hitters. I mean, Metroid Prime 4 is around the corner. No way in hell am I not playing that just because Nintendo is a bunch of cynical business cunts (like everyone in this and every entertainment industry)
Same with Nvidia. I should probably be angry because all the stuff they keep doing, but I don't care, because i'm too busy enjoying the games I play and have zero issues, personally.
And I have a choice. To buy these things or not.

Generally, yes. But this is an active legal issue without definitive resolution and its creep into more EULAs is worth reporting (especially because there will be jurisdictional differences in how it's interpreted/applied).

There are Youtube channels trying to infect kids minds like Zerg spores that are more evil than whole companies selling products to kids. They aren't selling a product; their only move is mind fucking to get them to consume more of the same mind fucking, to get views. Far more evil than making an exciting Saturday morning TV show so a kid asks his mom for a $5 plastic action figure painted in China. The point is that there are degrees to be parsed there isn't "one level of evil" which any company "that appeals to kids" belongs to.
Someone has to make something appropriate for children. Otherwise kids have nothing. And they have to sell the product or else they go out of business, so it should appeal to them. I'm hesitant to call a company evil out of hand just because they "appeal to kids". You need more than that, such as the manner, methods or motivations for it.
It's the popular new thing so some YouTubers will hate on it for clicks and ad revenue. It makes sense if that's how they want to make a living

EULA month again? I don't know in what anti-consumer rights country you live but in most European countries you can't give away your right of impeachment by a purchase/software using agreement. This is simply, by code of procedure, not possible.

Europe definitely has better consumer protection laws in my experience. I'm in the process of moving to the Azores(Portugal) and all the consumer electronics and appliances I've purchased have a baseline of 3 years warranty.

More bad Switch 2 news today. I just read that Mario Kart World gives you cancer. I guess Nintendo is allowed to do that if they put a tiny warning on the box.
It's limited to California residents for right now, but it's only a matter of time before greedy Nintendo extends the pilot to other states and countries.
