Marvel Digital Graphic Novel Sale at Amazon

It doesn't work on everything, but the email should have a link to a separate section with about 60 titles. Anything in there will auto-credit.
 
If I got Spider-Gwen Vol 1 do I really need Vol 0? It looks like it's 5 of the same books, issues 1-5, and just 1 book is different?

Alrighty, I used this opportunity to complete my Miles Morales and Kamala Khan collection. I also went ahead and bought Vision since I heard nothing but praise for it.

Volume 0 are the original issues that were be released before the series got prematurely relaunched due to Secret Wars, so I'd say they're worth buying if you're following the series.

But I'd like to know if there are gaps that I am missing or want some recommendations for a couple of heroes.

So I'm still considering Ms Marvel from Wilson, Old Man Logan, Brubraker's Captain America and Simonson's Thor.

Can somebody tell me a good start for Spider-Man? I have my doubts on going through the entirety of Ultimate Spider Man. Spider-man Blue is good too right? Anything else?

And maybe I'd enjoy some Warlock and Fantastic Four stuff if anybody has recommendations for that. I suppose I should still get something Daredevil too.

Eh, I've already read 2 books I bought over the weekend. 0 = number of steam sale games I've played within the first 2 years of buying them. Easy to chew up some pages in a comic.

reading Punisher Max and what a fucking awesome comic, currently on book 4 last night before sleeping/


finished black panther nation under our feet, cant say i enjoyed it, most of the time i didnt know what the fuck was going and it felt like i was getting preached or something like that

Like many of you, I have now started a digital comic collection it seems. This sale keeps going and I keep seeming to find more stuff. And thanks to GAF recommendations alot of these I wouldn't have found out were on sale otherwise.


So far I'm at:

Ultimate Spider-Man Vol 1-22
Superior Foes of Spider-Man Vol 1-3
Spider-Man - Maximum Carnage
Spider-Man - Birth of Venom
Spider-Man - Kraven's Last Hunt
X-Men: God Loves, Man Kills
X-Men Vs Avengers - Collected Edition
World War Hulk
Secret Wars - 2015-2016


I reaaaally should stop. But I'm tempted to get some sort of X-men Collection and the Deadpool Adamantium collection. Then there's the Hickman FF collections.

So many comics....
 
I'm irrationally hoping that a DC sale is coming when the Marvel sale ends. I may or may not have 15 DC books already pegged for immediate purchase.

Amazon gave me free credit for one more additional TPB so I choose the Black Panther volume since it's going to be a required reading for one of the Library Classes I will be taking in the Fall. :P

Wait so the Spider Gwen 1-5 issues in Vol 0 are different from the 1-5 in Vol.1?
 
Don't sleep on Miracleman, people! It's not on MU, very hard to find, by Alan Moore, and only $10 for the entire run. It's barely been mentioned in this thread so I just want to reiterate - buy Miracleman!



Also, there's no way in hell DC will offer graphic novels at these prices, and especially not this many. $6 has been the sale price in Comixology sales recently.
 
Are there any good Star Wars books to get? I may get my GF a cheap tablet so she can read some stuff.

It's just boring. They don't really have a good back and forth. There have been better Spidey/DP team ups.
 
Image had a 75% off code on ComiXology a couple weeks ago. That may be as close as we get.

There should be a week or 2 of San Diego Con sales coming up soon.
 
The full run of Bendis' Ultimate Spidey is a bit too pricey and intimidating, so I'm looking into Slott's material. I already picked up Superior Spidey.

How is his Amazing Spider-Man and ASM: Worldwide?

Or should I check out JMS' Spider-Man instead?

Also would like to know this. Have a crappy wifi signal at work and bought some stuff but can't really delve into what they have until I'm home later tonight.

Though $20 for Punisher Max collection makes this sale completely worth it.

And if this happens w/ DC comics then I'm actually in trouble. Hoopla has a lot of the DC books but the chance of getting them hi-Rez will be too tempting especially if the price points are similar to this.

Check your receipts. If any of the ones you bought were on that list, regardless of buying it through that list, it's autoapplied. Happened to me too.

Well, you'll wake up tomorrow and have to decide when you'll start reading any of that. I prefer to get complete or at least more or less significant chunks of particular runs at a time rather than a bunch of single volumes, but that might suit your preferences.

Yep. Spider-Gwen was released for 5 issues, but then ended because of Secret Wars. It got relaunched a year later, starting over at #1 again, because Marvel has been really bad with constantly relaunching books.
