Also, for once, I'd like a game where the environment actually gets messed up. Given the power the current gen has, it should be somewhat doable (though it's far more dependent on the actual time + money the devs have to make the game in the first place than anything else).

Assuming a small roster (or rather, smaller than recent full on 3D DB games), the androids SHOULD be one of those obvious ones that get to stay since they are indeed very different than everyone else.

Now whether ALL of them make it or just the two more popular ones make it is a different issue altogether.

Since it's 3v3 like Marvel I'm going to guess it has at least a 30 character roster.
I really hope we get some Super original characters, even if it's just Hit, Black and Kale as a Broly clone.

I mean, they can always come as DLC I suppose, but given the two images are full on "classic DBZ only" I don't have much hope for Super stuff to be in the base game. Though since we know next to nothing about it, this is just me making assumptions as of now.

Would be a very pleasent surprise to see some Super characters in there! :) Hit is definitely a must, at least. Unique fighting style.
 
Holy shit all this time ive been wanting CyberConnect2 to do all these anime games, and Arc System Works is actually better

Well since this is being pushed to 2018 and they'll have DLC, maybe it will get close to that.

I know they are re-using their character sheets from the Extreme Butoden game to gain time but they still needed to come up with a lot of new animations.

But initially it certainly wasn't anywhere near 30. Unless we count transformation variants and whatnot. But even then I don't think they are doing many of those besides saiyans.

The last time they made a DBZ game it was the best, so that's good.

And finally something that isn't shitty 3D with stupid circling around each other for ages to get a hit in, what more can you wish for? 3D in fighting games was a mistake.
 
I'm okay with a low roster if we get a DBZ game with good gameplay mechanics.

It's just been so long since we've had a great-looking DBZ game probably since Burst Limit.
 
Xenoverse 3 needs more time in the oven, the second game was good fun but it felt like an expansion built for the original more then a sequel, the open town stuff was also rather basic.

XV3 will definitely have a 2019 release, the question is if it will be early or late 2019.
Early seems most likely to me, but I'd prefer late.
 
Hopefully it's gameplay is fun. Just based off those screenshots I'm and the info I'm expecting it to be higher quality than usual.

Not that I really play 2D or 2.5D fighters much at all, I will if it is DB and good enough.

I've come too far for the Platinum to stop now :(

Excited about the new game. Xenoverse was a mistake, and at best an attempt at a quality DB game, where a lot of DB games were just poorly done and have nothing redeemable about them.
 
Oh thank god, the new game looks way better then xenoverse. Would have liked to see Dimps make another game in the budokai style but this is dope too.
 
We've barely seen Gods 5, 8 and 12 I forgot what they looked like.

I don't even think we've heard any dialogue from those 3, while at least 1 and 5 at least have had some dialogue.

For being in the ToP, I'm surprised we haven't seen much of 2's God.
 
They are remaking a lot of assets for XV 3.

I know they'll try to make their own story more ambitious besides "447th retelling".

That Broly X Kale PQ potential.

Wonder if they'd throw Broly into the Universal Survival Arc story mode, so Broly and Kale can be both be a part of the same story. Maybe in Xenoverse, when
U4 or U9 goes to U7, they find Broly and replace one of their members with him, or in U9's case,
he fills up a needed slot.

FOR REAL? Thank god, the XV2 original models are great, but most of the XV1 models look a lot worse, I was hoping XV3 would redo at least some of the assets from the first game. Fighters looks like it puts the XV1 models to shame too.
 
I feel that 3 vs 3 fighters NEED to have a massive roster, otherwise it can get old fast. I expect a roster of at least 40 characters with another 20 being DLC.

I think next week. Monday or Tuesday at the earliest, more realistically Wednesday. They were suppose to be this week, I forget the reason why we didn't get them, but we didn't, and I would assume that would carry into next week.
