Giant Bomb @ E3 2017: <>

So I guess the Visceral Star Wars game is missing in action again? What the fuck is going on?

Assuming that this means no other titles until late 2018, that means EA will have taken five years to produce two Star Wars games (they got the license in 2013). And if you want to be cynical, they've really only made one and a half Star Wars games.

Funny how someone here was saying that they lean on Star Wars too much, when they've been vastly failing to capitalize on the license.

Pretty sure it's always been targeting fall 2018 so it's not that big of a surprise that it didn't show.

All that talk about how much people wanted an in-depth cinema caliber story, and they couldn't show either of their Star Wars singleplayer games. I don't really get it.

It's kind of crazy that they had to uproot their while operation an extra day just for a 90 minute, 6/10 conference. What a waste for them.

I watched hte Wipeout QL and man I could not disagree with them more about Wipeout's aesthetics

It's the number one reason I never played the game. It just looks so flat, cold and lifeless. Like they use that 'looks like a tv show fake game' way too much...but that's what Wipeout looks like.

That's a generous assessment, even!

Reeeeally surprised no new Star Wars game announcement. I guess it make sense that they want people to focus on one at a time, but man have they not made good on that exclusive license.

what is brad's role at giant bomb? does he do anything. They are all about on screen personality and everyone brings it except him.

Brad is Jeff's friend from Gamespot 10 years ago and he kind of just hung around.

Same here, I was really expecting them to pull a "one more thing" with Visceral/Amy Hennig's Star Wars game and give us a name reveal or something.

i like the direction Need for Speed is leaning. Battlefront 2 looks dope as well. Wont buy either at launch because just like Ubisoft games EA games go on sale extremely quickly.
